Chapter Five - Amenophis part 2
"So... the expert whose golden blood I touched...you mean..." Lucky's mind descended into chaos as his heart was wrapped up in a thousand complicated feelings, "That man was… actually… my dad?"
Kasino Riot grew up in this country of Avaria, but not within Nibiru city. His mother and step-father's home was in a city called Kairo City, several hundred kilometers away. When Kasino reached the age of six, he displayed that he had an outstanding physique, so he was immediately enrolled into Thoth Academy. Thoth Academy was divided into three schools, and all the students had to start from elementary school to be apart of the academy. Middle and High school-aged students couldn't enroll.
Growing up, only his older sister Meri Riot shared the same father as he did. She had been the only one to tell him things about his father. His mother allowed him to call his step-father by 'daddy' until Kasino found out the truth on his own. Or rather until Meri could no longer accept this and told her little brother the facts that had been hidden from him. Kasino inwardly considered this his life's greatest humiliation, he didn't speak to his mother for two entire weeks!
At that time he was absolutely livid. Kasino Riot possessed a sort of pride that was etched into his very bones, he simply couldn't accept such insult.
One could only say Lucky was incredibly stubborn. His mother would always claim he was so similar to her own father, his grandfather. In fact, just like with her father as a child, her tear-stained face made Lucky's heart melt in the end. It was merely that his step-father was far from kind to him, and this made him disgusted once he knew they shared no actual relation.
He had been bullied by some outsider? This was insulting.
He had never felt connected to this man! His step-father, Marc Raizen, was everything but outright cruel to him! He behaved militant to the extreme and would punish Lucky with physical labor for the smallest indiscretions. His step-father would always tell his mother that he just wanted Lucky to be a strong warrior when he grew up. Merely, once Lucky knew the truth about his father, he realized that this man not so secretly hated him. Only, due to his mother, this man was unable to actually bring harm to him.
So he settled for giving Lucky a hard time!
These thoughts were confirmed in Lucky's heart once his younger sister Chevy Raizen was born. The way his step-father doted on his sister made him seem like an entirely new man. However, it only made the way he treated Lucky that much more apparent. The difference in gender was not enough to explain the immense difference in treatment. In fact, Lucky wasn't the only one to notice how drastic this difference was, his mother was, of course, the first to realize. However, could she blame her husband for adoring their flesh and blood child? Even if something was clearly suspicious, it didn't seem of a heavy enough weight to put down.
In Kiya Prozen's eyes, things were already bad enough.
As for Kasino Riot, he was also rather fond of this baby sister of his that was the spitting image of his adored mother. He imprinted on her early and couldn't bring himself to dislike her even a little bit. The child was the principal reason he preferred the nickname Lucky over his name Kasino. When Chevy was a baby, she simply couldn't pronounce Kasino, so she always said Lucky.

It could be said that no one in the house gave in to Chevy more than Lucky, in spite of how he felt about her father.
As for his own father, Lucky honestly did harbor quite a bit of resentment towards him. After a long talk with his mother, he only understood that his father made a horrible decision and committed a terrible crime. One that even Kiya Prozen felt incomparably betrayed by. In the end, Meno Riot was incarcerated and, as far as Lucky knew, he was supposed to be there until he died.
However, this new information startled him. His dad was here in this city eight years ago? Did he die here in this very alley, right in front of Lucky's own face? Not only that, but the only reason Lucky and Capp found this alley was because Lucky's father led them here? He suddenly remembered that man's words at the time, "My... son… the sky is what you are… but… the dragon sleeps within… Amen will light your path… I pray we meet again..."
"Never have fear… my true sky fall herald… I give you the gift… of the Pharaoh!"
Lucky Riot suddenly understood. He would never forget the warm look in that man's scarlet golden eyes before he called him his son. At the time, Lucky had literally thought nothing of it. He was more interested in the ancient hieroglyphics on the wall! It wasn't as if he never considered the possibility of that being his father. He just didn't think it was actually possible. That dying man was clearly delirious, and they did happen to look similar. Lucky had told himself it was merely a coincidence. Anyway, he had never told anyone but his older sister about what that man had said.
Meri also thought it was impossible.
However, it would now appear they were both wrong. This dragon shadow didn't seem to need to lie to him. After all, it had indeed been giving them gifts for the better half of his life. This alone forced Lucky to treat this being as a trusted senior. "Senior, what should this one call you?"
"I am Amenophis of the Plasma Sun Dragon clan. You may call me Grandmaster Amen," said Amenophis, "You are Shreya of the Primal Divine Draco Volos. Do not ever forget this title. It is what your grandfather has gifted you. One day you will understand this."
"Grandmaster Amen, can you tell me what did you do to my friends? Also, what has happened to Margot? She's a bit different from before... more insightful and intelligent. It's like she's entered the perceptive... oh," Lucky Riot had actually missed Maggie's explanation, so he asked Amenophis directly. However, while he spoke, he realized the answer on his own.
Amenophis was momentarily stunned Lucky's astute mind and that this child was more concerned with his friends than his own father, but he could also understand this point. After all, from a particular perspective, it could be said that Amenophis had cultivated their friendship himself. Furthermore, Lucky never met his father, and also never heard any good things about him, "Margot Frenzy is like you, she is not 100% of the Fallen Hero race or even 40% for that matter. No, this child... she has an extraordinary bloodline. Her situation should most likely be similar to your own, somehow. I'm 90% certain of this, based on current information.
"Perhaps, by next year you will know more.
"I have awakened her sacred bone prematurely. She had the talent to withstand it. Her soul strength increased as a result, and she had indeed gotten trapped in the Perceptive Force State. I freed her mind the moment she arrived here. Perhaps you can teach her to control it. Her brother, on the other hand, does not need my help for this. For now, it would do you no good to know what their bloodline is. However, if you disagree, I will tell you. Consider it carefully."

Amenophis had clearly changed the way he approached Lucky. Lucky preferred this style a lot more. What he didn't know was that this was the same way Amenophis engaged with Lucky's grandfather. The dragon shadow saw many similarities between the two.
"That's fine, as long as she is fine. Merely, what is a Sacred Bone?" asked Lucky Riot indifferently. If the old dragon shadow said he didn't need to know, he'd figure it out later. As long as his friends were going to be okay, he was satisfied. After all, he seemed willing to tell but didn't think the information would benefit Lucky even if he said. For this reason, Lucky chose not to know.
"Sacred bones are what identify the royal lineage of the ancient races at the divine level. All royal members of a divine race will possess a sacred bone. Possessing one makes you a Prince in the race. In sporadic cases, multiple sacred bones may exist. This is exclusive to those with multiple divine bloodlines. It is far more common for lower grade heaven bones or spirit bones to prevent the sacred bone from manifesting, due to the inferior genes. Most ancient races cannot copulate with each other and produce offspring." Amenophis explained patiently, as two sparkling scarlet golden lights appeared in the dragon shadow like two eyes staring intensely at Lucky, "In fact, it is difficult for our ancient races to have offspring in general. You'll find that ancient races are far more casual in matters of love and sex. It is not so taboo as they make it in this land."
"Are the dragon clan an ancient race as well?" asked Lucky Riot suddenly.
"There is a problem with your wording. The divine dragon clan's status is special. There are many descendants of the True Dragons, that which you call dragon. Moreover, True Dragons can be considered as an ancient race. However, True Dragon's are the descendants of the members of our race that were born from the blood of your ancestors," said Amenophis as if it was common knowledge. "We share an extraordinary connection with the Divine Draconians, and their bloodline abilities gave birth to my kind. For instance, my birth can be attributed to your father."
"So that's the case," said Lucky Riot as if he had understood something, "Wouldn't that make us brothers then?"
"This..." this question caught Amenophis off-guard. In fact, the first True Dragons always referred to the Divine Draconians as their parents. "This is not quite the case. It is my soul that was born from your father's blood, but not my body. In that sense, perhaps you are correct. However, to consider me a child is to give me the independence to grow into my own entity.
"Most draconian princes opt to keep that link that connects our lifelines. Due to this, it is more accurate to call us twins. Even calling me a clone or an avatar is more appropriate than calling me Brother Meno's son."
"Aren't you currently independent? Wouldn't that make you more a child now than an avatar? If you are an avatar, does that mean that my father is still alive?" Lucky Riot asked indifferently. Amenophis once again felt shocked by the cold nature and high-level intelligence of this young man. Barely an adult by human standards, yet he already had such high comprehension ability. He also seemed slightly emotionless like the Prozen clan, yet he possessed the fiery passion of sun dragons.
"Meno Riot has passed away after hiding the remainder of his lifeforce in your divine circuits. I am not sure what the purpose behind such an action was." Amenophis replied honestly. Lucky frowned upon hearing this.
"Is it possible for my old man to resurrect himself through me?" asked Lucky Riot suspiciously. These thoughts actually came to him via his Eye of Horus. It currently transmitted feelings of suspicion and trepidation towards the nature of Meno Riot. Lucky didn't understand where they came from, but he realized the Eye of Horus was more complicated than he gave it credit for.
"Impossible," Amenophis said without hesitation.
"Why is that? How are you so sure?" Lucky asked in curiosity, though he felt somewhat relieved.
"Thanks to your mother, you are different from your father. Hidden in your soul is the will of the Prozen clan. No one in this universe can destroy your soul. Perhaps it can be sealed, but I believe even this would not last long."
"So then, do I also have a sacred bone?" Lucky Riot moved on to the next thing he needed to know.
"You actually have…" Amenophis hesitated as if he had not meant to say this. However, once riding the tiger, was it so easy to get off? The boy's eyes had instantly lit up, so Amenophis sighed and continued, "Three."
"Woah?! Does that mean I'm like some super hybrid?" Lucky Riot was actually not excited about this. The Eye of Horus seemed to transmit feelings of wariness to him. It felt like a warning to not become arrogant and to keep this a secret no matter what. In fact, even without these transmitted feelings, Lucky would have been wary. One sacred bone? That's awesome. Two? That could be more awesome. Three? That just sounded like trouble. If he had three of the rarest treasure in the world, he would most definitely get robbed three times over.
"Two of them I can identify but… one I am not able to see through. Unfortunately, this unidentified sacred bone seems to be the dominant force in your body," Amenophis' voice seemed to contain some worry. This warmed Lucky's heart towards this dragon shadow a bit more. This Amenophis appeared to genuinely care for him. "This is quite perplexing. I've pondered over it for quite a while, but I am still not quite sure what has happened to you. I believe it involved whatever your father passed to you. The year I met you, you only possessed two. I only noticed the third bone around a year ago. This is part of the reason I kept your consciousness sealed for so long. However, this foreign bone is the master bone. Odd. In fact, it's grade seems… higher than the sacred level. I do not dare to imagine this."
"What would it mean to have a divine bone?" Lucky knew by convention that the level after sacred was divine.
"It would mean you have the royal lineage of a celestial race," Amenophis admitted plainly. This information threatened to scare Lucky to death.
"If you're my dad's life partner and your soul is linked to his lifeblood, then doesn't that mean you live and die together?" Lucky asked, ultimately letting the previous information store itself away. Why bother thinking about mysteries that even a divine dragon couldn't solve? This was definitely pointless. He had been curious about this life partner thing the entire time, but he was still slightly wary against this dragon shadow at first.
"You're father was an exceptional Divine Pharaoh. He laid out a spiritual formation that enabled me to exist in this alley until you matured to a level that could handle my strength. Unfortunately, the price of doing so was my throne. It was his wish that I fused with you and became a source of power for you in the future. I believe he transferred his remaining lifeblood into your body, allowing me to be naturally linked to your lifeblood. This is his gift to you, his son, whom he could not raise himself. Once we sign a blood seal that sends me into reincarnation, you will be the third Draco Volos in history to possess two life partners." Heavy melancholy dripped from Amenophis' voice. It as if this was a depressing and solemn mission that he took the utmost care in. Lucky frowned noticing this attitude.
Is being my life partner so sad?
No one asked you both to do this!
Amenophis noticed his discomfort and continued, "In fact, as I mentioned, life partners can separate and become independent. I was given this option. I chose not too."
The dragon shadow sounded very proud of himself.
"So you chose not to let my dad son you. Perhaps I would have chosen the same. If he had been here himself, would there even be a need for all of this? Would there be a need for me to address Marc Raizen as my father for the first five years of my life? Would there.."
"MARC RAIZEN!" Before Lucky Riot could finish his rant, Amenophis' voice struck like lightning in his head. Lucky felt uncontrollable fury rise up in the depths of his soul. Apparently, the old dragon was severely enraged. What the heck just happened?

It was not until millenniums later when a tribe of elves who worshipped him in the ancient past awoke him. He was awakened into a new era where ten gods who also stripped away the divinity from other gods like him abuse their powers. Kingdom Building (a Floating kingdom in the skies and a diverse population) Author's Note: Grammar might be messy. Yes, I am a non-native speaker but I'm not trying to use that as an excuse. I am going to try to improve. Also, I am currently in University so there are times where I might be gone for an extended period of time and other times where I am quite free and able to write chapters.
