《Shadow’s World》39. Game part 2

“Well, this game sounds easy. Erica do you want to play as well?” she smiles well looks like she wants to win. I cannot have her hold this over me, I wasn’t going to try but now knowing that she wants to win makes my fighting spirit grow. My team looks at both of us and had a confused look on their faces. “Yay, Let’s get this game started. I will go first since the person asking the question is at a disadvantage. Wendy picks up a random card. “Tier one fairy, the first clue is that it uses all…” I yell, “Cthulhu!” Erica answers “Dragons.” Wendy looks at the card and says, “Erica was right. She has a point. Here it is your turn with the cards.” Crap that means if someone does beat her in answering a question correctly she will win. “this is tier 4 fairy, arrows.” “Elf. Now give me the cards. You guys are going have to be faster to beat us and I want to win so guess at least one right when it is my turn to ask. Ok, this is an easy one. Tier 5 fl..” “Harpy” I pass the cards back to Erica. “tier 4 sing” “siren” She pushes the cards back to me. We keep pushing the cards back and forth between the both of us until we both get 9 points. It looks like she is going to win so I pick up a card. It was a tier 2 monster Werewolf but on the back, it didn’t have the most important detail about it. “Tier 2, Shadows” “Werewolf, and with that I win. So who wants to play the next round?” “What happen!? How come you guys know all of the answers with only knowing one word? That is so unfair.” “For once I agree with Eddy. This is unfair it seems you guys made up powers as you went along or powers that doesn’t matter. Harpies flying doesn’t matter because they are so weak.” Perry cried.

“I have to leave for a moment; I will be back in a minute.” “I do not care about you stupid spider.” The spider left my head and everyone in the room was looking at me with a confused face. “um ignore that, I was just talking to myself. What were we talking about? Oh yeah, you guys whinny about the way we play the game. The skills on the back of those cards don’t tell the whole story about fairies users and their fairies. They are much more powerful than the cards give them credit for and they lack imagination. Also, the game we play is very easy since it is a memory game with fairies and their power spate into tiers” “I will handle the rest little brother.” Sighs!
“It seems you guys do not know a lot about fairies powers. The only knowledge you guys have is that stupid guild that the elders made. It is nowhere close to the law since every fairy users are different with different ideas and different ways to use their powers. The elders have written a guide base on what they have seen and fought the fairies users. The problem is that they have a very limited scope of the fairy users abilities. Reading a lot of history I was able to find out that we use to have the ability to combine our powers. With our powers combine our strength grew exponential. A group of 1000 Jeonglyeong that can only summon a small fireball combine can make a huge blue that color is closer to purple.” Wow, can you introduce me to those books?” Isabella pushes her glass while leaning closer to Erica. Erica looks at her and says, “it would be good for everyone here to read the books. You guys need t to learn about your enemies now the thing is we cannot combine our powers anymore so do not think of trying. We have tried it and it doesn’t work.” “I have something to say, Erica. Instead of playing this memorizing game lets instead play a game that Erica and I made into a job.”

I got up and went to a shelf and pick up a few books from the shelf. “in each of the books are powers that we think fairies users could use. I threw them back into the self. Now, I want to see you guys interpretation of fairies powers and abilities and how you would try to use them.” I walk back to the table and pick up the cards and hand them out to the team. Then I gave them a pick of paper and gave them something to write with. “I took out the tier one fairies now with the fairy on the card that you have decided how you would use their power. We will go around the table and see what ideas everyone come up with it.” “Show them your work little brother so they can have an idea of what they are supposed to do.”
I pick up one of my books and look through it. This page seems right; I rip it out and pass it to Wendy who was sitting right next to me. Our hands touch but it didn’t really affect me much. “hey, you and your girlfriend's hands touch.” I could feel my ears glow red. I even heard some snickering from an evil person that I shall not name, everyone else interested in the piece of paper I hand out that they didn’t notice me. The paper I got from the book read like this:
Subject: Dragon offshoot a Salamander
Type Fire: the only element it can control.
This fairy can be found throughout the tier list beside the highest level. The weaker it is the more elements it is weak to. At its strongest in tier 2 of his abilities. At tier 2 there only two elements that can work against it. The earth element and the lighting element. All of the rest it can burn or with the wind it can make the fire surrounding it stronger.
The object of the fairy users is to play the keep away game. The reason being is that the Salamander would want to fight in an area that fit its habitat. That being it live wants to fight in a volcano like setting. It will put up walls of flames trapping his/her opponent inside. It also can control fire to a good degree. At the higher tiers unless it is fighting another fairy user with a better fire fairy then it isn’t recommended using fire anywhere near it.
The best way to beat it in a fight is to use physical force against the user. The user wouldn’t have any agility upgrades and the salamander also would but a negative effect on it user by making its skin weaker.
“This page is from a book Erica and I am working to submit to the elders so that we can get an updated version of the fairies abilities and how to deal with them.” “Oh, wow! This is great information and it is short and easy to learn. When are you guys going to be done with this?” The book nerd Isabella asks while pushing up her glasses. “Well right now never the reasons being the elders refuse to listen to us and love their old traditions. So, do something with the card I am going to give you.” I hand out 8 different cards.

World Step (Rewrite)
This is a rewrite of my story World Step. Though, in reality, this is my first serious draft. The shadows grow deeper on the planet of Whorrl even as a dark, and ancient ritual takes place within the depths of The Abyssal Mouth—a chasm of both fortune and calamity. The story follows Quintin, a Grandmaster Martial Artist from Earth, as unforeseen elements conspire against him from the depths of space. *No Harem *Strong MC, but by no means does he go through enemies without injury or at least learning something. *Throw on [Horror], and possibly [Psychological] elements. *Dark Fantasy with some [Grimdark] leanings. Notes: this will be a place where I endeavor to rewrite and fix issues. With that in mind, expect revisions, edits, and other things of that nature.

Saiyan In a Fantasy World
First of all I'm writing for fun and I do not have a set schedule. Secondly I am releasing the Prologue as a test and if it gets good reviews I will carry on writing . Also if haven’t read/watched Overlord or Dragon Ball then you probably won’t understand a lot of this so I recommend doing so. My native language is English but there will probably be some mistakes so let me know if you find any. This is my first fiction so any advice is welcomed. Disclaimer:I do not own Dragon Ball or Overlord Other Disclaimer: I also do not own the cover art. If the owner wants me to take it down please tell me and I will do so immediately.
