《Life, the struggle for existence》Prologue - A premonition

Complete darkness.
A darkness so deep and vast, the human perception of black cannot even be attributed to such sights. The color black is but a pale version of what can only be described as a void of color, an abyss of absence.
In this colorless world, suddenly a slight shiver ran through the otherwise perfect equality. A ripple, as it were, of the finest sublety. The finest of variations in color.
In the spot were this anomaly occured, the color was no longer the exact same as its surroundings. Still, the twilight of color was present, but the spot was the tiniest bit lighter than its neighbors.
From this location, another ripple in the fabric of void and absence ran through existence. This time, the ripple was microscopically larger than the previous one, also leaving a miniscule alteration in the color of the spot of its origination.
This continued and never faltered. The void could not cease this process, as it was the absence of things, therefore also the absence of action.
Over time, the original spot became lighter and brighter. This area grew and took over more and more of the void, until, at one point, something came into existence.
In the darkness that had never harbored anything but its own absence, something was created that was not itself. First, it seemed as though there would be no change in the current situation. However, suddenly the existence created a ripple of its own making. This ripple then joined the original wave and they merged into one, larger ripple.
Time passed and more and more things came into existence. More and more void came into actuality and as existence grew, the absence of existence shrank.
Existence reached a point it would eventually achieve, complete existence. The void that once had been all there was, was no more. All that was, was all that was.

However, as existence reached this point, it had lost its reason of existing, which was countering the absence of existence. Therefore, the absence of existence came into existence, having previously been lost to existence.
This time, however, their respective roles had switched. Ripples of inexistence came into being and slowly but surely, the cycle retracted.

Hey there, thanks for reading this way too vague and short prologue, but I felt it was neccesary to set the scene. It also felt like a good way to keep away people hoping for a quick, uncreative Xianxia or anything of the sorts. The story will be quite slowly paced, as I feel the need to set the characters up and not introduce them straightaway all at once. Bear with me, as I tell you of my earth and my imagination.

Jayke Cipher
Jayke Cipher was, to his limited knowledge, one of the last people alive. The apocalypse was not one that came slowly. When it struck Earth, it came swiftly. The monstrosities that roamed the outside world became an unavoidable hobby of Jayke's. Working from within a heavily defended compound, surveillance cameras and a plethora of subject material only cultivated an interest in strange creatures. Survival became lonely. Sanity was kept by indulging offhand desires, fulfilling flights of fancy when reasonable. When the compound is breached and all other options exhausted his only option becomes the pod. A mysterious capsule intended for virtual reality. Its producer, in light of the apocalypse, had released early. Months back he had ignored the last news broadcast regarding the pod and its promises. He knew it only as suicide. But better that than being eaten alive.

As a magician Dias has run into a lot of problems. Not 'street magician' though that would carry a lot less baggage... For better or for worse he has run into the supernatural side of things more than he would have liked. In fact it keeps pestering him more than he'd like and after spending the night at a Motel... his life just got a whole lot more complicated. Expect that now that he owns a hill... the "Magician's Hill" now that the former witch/owner is dead. It doesn't help that most of the supernatural residents also seem to have taken an interest in him though it feels like a coin toss if thats a good thing or a bad thing. Especially when they realize that his problems followed him to their city.
8 119What?! The world outside the village is full of villains.
Saulo Delanova is a young Amish. He doesn't use electricity, travels by horse and carriage, and eats what he sows in a community with a traditional lifestyle, rural and voluntarily separated from modern society. A community that for foreign eyes is frozen in time. When he decides to experience the modernity that he heard so much about the cities outside of his region, a theft forces him to stop on his way to the capital city. The situation would be manageable if it weren't for a detail. In his community they live under the principles of nonviolence! In a world where each being is born with an identifying color, can summon a weapon and fight with the power of the elements -or what is known as trinity or three characteristics of a user-, villains abound because of this power that each person can easily use. Ignorant of the life in the country's most important city, Saul will have to face culture shock to adapt to this outside world unknown to him, and to the people and events that will make him fall into the bowels of the world of temptations. 8 166This Book
The author, Edward Faust is aware that “This Book” does not really describe what this book is about. We shall pretend that it is a meta artistic choice but the reality is that Mr. Faust is bad at coming up with titles, and since starting This Book back in 2015 as a NaNoWriMo project he could never come up with a good one. This Book’s genre is YA Supernatural, but that’s only as helpful as any genre tag (IE: not very) so I shall describe it further. This Book is primarily about reincarnation, but it also features mythical creatures such as angels (known here as Seraphs), demons, Byzantines, as well as homeschoolers. Two mythical homeschoolers in fact make up the main characters of this work, a pair of siblings named Grayson and Kish. They live in metro Atlanta in the year 2019 AD with their Aunt. On one particular day they are plunged into a rabbit hole of spiritual and metaphysical politics by the arrival of a mysterious one-eyed Green haired woman and strange humanoid creatures into their lives. That is where the story begins. Yes. This book can also be found at https://thisbook.home.blog/
