《Smoking Bandits》SB3.1 - Triple Waterfall

The condition of every item in the Wrist Pocket will remain the same as when it was inserted. Therefore, the game blood Lark had collected was still fresh when it was brought out.
Usually, sunlight is used to harden the blood game. However, because it was night, Lark used fire from the stone stove in Butcher Quarter as an alternative.
After arranging basins filled with the game blood at the edge of the stove, Lark then began to pour the items he had brought from the earth into the blazing fire.
Since he left Villa Ezter, Lark realized that every item he had brought from earth had to be destroyed immediately. But this was the first time he had the opportunity.
Lark was not overly grieved as he threw his clothes, shoes, watch, long-range low light camera, and wallet with its contents into the blazing fire. Because this is not the first time he has done this. Somehow, he also did not feel any regrets for Drakar's Rell Cards.
Of Drakar's eight Rell Cards, one is worth 4 million Rells while the rest is worth 50 million Rells, and Drakar says that's the amount left after he has used 80% of his wealth to create a single-use Summon Platform.
Casually, Lark threw Drakar's Rell Card into the stone stove. 'It seems the return to earth will be a long journey.'
Lark then started to cut the game blood that had hardened and grilled it using bamboo sticks. In silence, he enjoyed his dinner with some beers. And after smoking two Kuba, he took shower and went to sleep.

Three o'clock in the morning, after ordering bison stew and warm lemon tea, Lark then walked over to the bulletin board in the corner of Glue Pub. First, he studied the latest news in Pine Town, and breathed a sigh of relief when he found the news that the murder at Villa Ezter was declared a mystery.

Lark then studied the giant map beside the bulletin board. And just like the information he got from Drakar, Lark found that the area around Pinetown was divided into three area.
The first 12 km from Pinetown is Hunting Radius. Humans have very strong control in this area. So Hostile Race activity on the Hunting Radius is quite low, though not completely zero.
The second 12 km is Skirmish Radius where humans and Hostile Race are eliminating each other and fighting over area control. Hostile Race activity in the Skirmish Radius is quite high and some areas are still uncharted.
While the outermost area is Expedition Radius where one in three humans who enter it usually never come back alive. This area is also known as Blind Area because there is not much information regarding the area.
Lark deftly copied the versus contact location with Orcs over the past two weeks, the newly destroyed Goblin's lair, and the routes that already mapped out. He also copied all the names of the missing hunters.
At the same time, Milev placed bison stew and warm lemon tea on a nearby table before approaching Lark. "Never thought you could read military maps."
Lark smiled lightly before answering, "Some friends taught me."
Milev then pointed to the areas on the northeast and north of Skirmish Radius. "This area is not completely mapped because Orcs in this area are very good at using the terrain to launch an ambush. They are also very aggressive. So you should avoid it."
"Understood," Lark said firmly before turning to look at Milev. "I heard Pine Co paid a fortune for intel regarding terrain in Skirmish Radius and Expedition Radius."
"Yupe, but that's a job for a big PMC with a lot of seasoned veterans as members."

Lark nodded before continuing to copy the Hostile Race's activities on Skirmish Radius. Not long after that, he eats his breakfast while Milev returns to the counter.

Twenty-six km northeast of Pinetown lies a waterfall called Triple Waterfall. The waterfall has a height of 12 meters and is separated into three parts where each part is shaped like a stone staircase. This staircase-like shape makes the Triple Waterfall splash not as loud as other waterfalls.
The pool below the Triple Waterfall has a width of approximately 30 meters, with a depth of 0.3 - 5 meters. The water was so clear that the rocks and gravel at the bottom were clearly visible.
Lark accurately detected hundreds of movements at the bottom of the pool, and he didn't want to waste the opportunity to gather food.
In one corner, Lark stayed at the bottom of the pool while activating Camouflage. He patiently waits for the prey that will bite his index finger, which he changed its shape into a small fish.
Lark didn't have to wait long. A rainbow trout the size of an adult calf deftly snatches the bait he offers. In an instant, the little fish turned into a hook and the Paralisis showed its potent effects.
The rainbow trout only struggled for one second before limping. Lark then turned the rainbow trout into two fillets. He heartily enjoyed one of the fillets and saved the other pieces into Wrist Pocket.
A moment later Lark shifted places and caught another rainbow trout using the same tactic.
After enjoying 30 rainbow trout fillets, Lark then climbed the wall next to Triple Waterfall. Silently, he is sunbathing in a small alcove. In his life, he had never felt that the touch of sunlight was so comfortable.
There are still two hours before sunset. So Lark will use it to take a nap. Because tonight, he has a lot to do.

Debut: the day every young gentleperson of age gathers to receive their Spirit Blessing and shift for the first time into their second form. Except for those who don't. Beatrice's worst fear is to be one of the unlucky few trapped perpetually in a human body, cut off from the magic of the spirits and unfit for any respectable pack or pride. But when the time comes to face her fear, the outcome is one she never could have imagined. Be warned, this story is some highly experimental fluff—an unapologetically girly, unrelentingly bisexual, Regency/Victorian-ish fantasy mish-mash. It does have a dark side, though, so don’t come in expecting all sunshine and roses. Worthy of note, given the reputation of shifter stories: there will be no explicit sex in this tale. There will, however, be lots of polyamorous romance, necromancy, portal magic, capricious spirits, elemental mages, an unconventional take on shifters and a highly ordered society built around their existence.

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.
