Seji was heading towards Reina. Tears kept falling down from his eyes.

Reina smiles and felt that she will be relieved of the pain she was going through.

“Brother NO! KILL ME! I BEG YOU!” Emilia shouted in pain.

Seji just went slowly, and points dagger at Reina. Looks into her eyes as his tears fall.

“Thank you. And I’m sorry.” Reina said. That triggered even more memories for Seji. His hands were shaking, tears started flowing even more. His brain was messed up.

Freda looks at that. She isn’t able to move her body but tear falls down her cheek.

“FForgiv-me, I can’t.” Seji said and hugged Reina.

“Do it fast.” Alfonzo said.

Seji took the dagger off and walked towards Emilia.

“Why can’t you?” Reina asked. Seji didn’t reply and kept walking towards Emilia. His feet got heavy, moving them got just way too much harder for Seji.

Seji stopped in front of Emilia.

“I won’t say much, but thank you, brother. You are the best brother, of course after Egan. Just kidding, I love you both. It was a great journey with you. Take care of your girlfriend. And Miss Reina, Seji is your true boyfriend. Thank you for the fun stories' brother. I’ll be taking my leave now. Release me.” Emilia said while tears kept falling from her eyes.

Seji put her left hand on Emilia's face and hugged her.

“I-I l-ove you too, Emi-lia. Than-k-you for believing me.” Seji barely managed to speak, his voice won’t come out from his voice box. His lips won’t open. But he held a dagger and pointed it on her neck.

“I’m sorry.” Seji muttered and separated Emilia's head from the body.

The pact broke with Master. Her pattern disappeared from Master's palm too. It was a bad weather in Galahaeim and Master was sitting in guild hall. He was walking down the street from some work and couldn’t notice the disappeared mark.

Emilia's body didn’t spit blood, it just started fading into thin air.

“See ya, brother Egan. And everyone.” A whisper everyone standing heard.

Egan starts gaining consciousness slowly

Freda kept shedding tears laying on floor knowing she couldn’t move her body.

Seji fell on his knees. Tears falling from his cheek were uncontrollable and his anger and sorrow was nowhere to normal, they reflect a loss. A deep loss.

Reina also fell on her knees and started crying. Zora helped Alfonzo to walk, and they started walking back.

“Be Gone now. Freda and Kiriyo, tch, go die. I’ll go and recreate nation, even if you come try to stop it, people will believe you all are fake that’s how I’m going to move now.” Alfonzo said and walked away with Zora's help. The women in black robes just disappeared.

Everything was silent. Seji just looked at sky crying, Thinking how he ended up like that. While Reina just cried.

Seji kept reminiscing memories from past and crying.

Seji turned towards Reina and dragged his body towards her.

“Rei.. Reiiii..” Seji tried to speak but voice was still cracking.

Reina looked at Seji and was teary all over.

Seji hugged Reina and started crying loudly. The dam of sadness shattered inside him and he cried.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" He screamed and cried.

Reina thought, “This voice is familiar. This warmth of being loved is familiar, but was he truly my real lover... he's crying like a baby...”

Reina stopped crying for a second because of the warmth and returned to reality. To her she had been betrayed by prince.

While, Seji just kept crying and saying,

“I missed you. I missed you so much. I couldn’t afford to lose you again. I’m sorry. I’m selfish.” Seji said.

“..please-.. help me regain my memories...” Reina said and tears fell down her cheek.

Seji just kept crying in Reina's arms.

Egan wakes up properly, and notices that.

He started looking around for Emilia.

“What happened to Emilia?” Egan asked.

“She died...” Freda said in sorrow.

“That was just a dream right? Stop joking tell truth where is she hiding?” Egan said, rejecting the reality, he had seen. He remembers seeing Seji kill Emilia, but to him it was nothing more than a nightmare.

“He had no choice. To save all of us, Reina or Emilia. He had to choose one.” Freda said.

Egan stood up and said, “so that wasn’t a dream?” His body was exerting fire.

Egan walks towards Reina and Seji.

Seji was so lost in crying in Reina's arms that he didn’t notice anyone else.

Freda forwarded her hand towards Seji and Reina, and opened a portal in front of Egan.

“Remove it.” Egan said.

“I won't. Leave them alone, Right now. You weren’t even fully conscious, I saw everything. We all would have died if Seji had made wrong choice, but he made right choice and save-

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN? HE COULD LET THAT GIRL DIE FOR EMILIA. SHE DOESN'T EVEN BELONG TO ELEMENTAL.”

“BECAUSE SHE IS HIS GIRLFRIEND. HE F*****NG LOVES HER. HE LOVES EMILIA TOO. ALL I COULD SEE WERE TEARS IN HIS EYES. YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT HE'S BEEN GOING THROUGH! HE HAD HIS GIRLFRIEND LOST SINCE HE CAME! AND NOW HE FINALLY GOT HER BACK! BUT EVEN THOUGH HE GOT HER BACK SHE DOESN’T REMEMBER HER-

“SHE DOESN’T EVEN REMEMBER HIM, THEN WHY SACRIFICE EMILIA FOR SOMEONE WHO DOESN’T EVEN REMEMBER HIM? THAT WAS JUST DUMB AN-

“SHUT UP. JUST SHUT UP. DO YOU EVEN KNOW THAT HE TRIED TO KILL HIS GIRLFRIEND? HE TRIED TO KILL HER. WILL YOU EVEN TRY TO KILL EMILIA? OR EVEN THOUGH? HELL NO YOU COULD HAVE MADE DUMBEST CHOICE AND GET US ALL KILLED. HE TRIED TO PROTECT US ALL” Freda shouted and started crying.

“Tch.” Egan's eyes were teary. He slammed punch in the ground forming another crater.

Other's start gaining consciousness slowly.

Ariel and Rune woke up. Kiriyo, Reiz and Mei was still unconscious.

“Why are you slamming the ground?” Rune asked.

Egan looks at him with his teary eyes but continued to slam.

“Emilia... died...” Freda said crying.

Reiz suddenly woke up.

“What!?” Everyone reacted in shock. Ariel immediately got tears in her eyes. Rune and Reiz controlled themselves.

“What happened...” Rune said with teary eyes.

“She was killed by Seji.” Egan said in anger.

“I told you, there was no other way!!! If you and Reiz weren’t fighting your foes it might have not ended like this!! Spare him something...” Freda said.

“Tch.” Reiz expressed his anger and sadness by kicking the ground.

Rune turned around to look at Seji and Reina. And thinks, “that wasn’t in vain completely...”

While Ariel kept crying, thinking, “It's all my fault. If I had been awake.”

“I CAN'T CONTROL IT. I'M GOING TO KILL THAT BITCH FOR TAKING EMILIA FROM US.” Egan said and started walking towards them.

“W-.

“Stop. Let’s see what he does. He can’t do anything more than bluffing.” Rune said in sorrow.

Egan walked towards them.

Seji had calmed down but was crying, and still holding onto Reina.

Egan came and punched Seji.

Seji went 5 feet (1.52 m) away from Reina.

“Hu..” Reina said in shock and looks at Egan.

Egan tries to punch Reina.

“STOP IT!!” Seji came running and jumped on Egan to stop him.

“I won’t let you touch her. Beat me but don’t even think about touching her. I’ll RIP you apart if you try to.” Seji said in anger.

Egan just pushed him over And tries to attack Reina again.

“I said Stop!” Seji said and kicked Egan.

Egan doesn’t feel much, and pushes Seji onto ground again.

Egan tries to punch again.

“STOPPPPPP!” Seji shouted and came ahead of Reina.

“Let him kill me, I’m the reason he lost a friend.” Reina said.

“I won’t lose you anymore. I’ll take you and go somewhere peaceful, and I won’t let anyone touch you.” Seji said shakingly.

Egan tries to attack, but stops before he could hit him.

“Why couldn’t I kill corrupted soon? If I had she would be here." Egan said And backed off.

He started crying as well.

He reminisces the time he first met Emilia. Egan had recently joined Guild, Master introduced him to Emilia. Egan used to tell her bizarre stories, and Emilia was always happy to hear that.

“I-m sor...ry, I’m the reason...” Seji said and fell on his knees.

“Come with us.” Reiz said to Reina.

“I don’t have a choice...” Reina said in sorrow.

“let’s go home first.” Rune said.

“freda, here is the map. Open portal to Galaheim.” Rune said.

And then they returned to Galahaeim.

As they entered the entrance of Galahaeim, Ariel had picked up Mei, Reiz had picked up Kiriyo.

“Follow me.” Rune said.

Seji stood silent, he was ashamed to even ask for help.

“Here...” Reina said and forwarded her arms.

Reina held Seji's arms, and they all flew following Rune.

After a minute or two of flight they reach guild house.

Egan opened door and went in first, he went to his room directly.

“Egan...” Ariel said in sorrow.

“I’m to blame.” Reina said in sorrow as well.

Rune, Reiz, Ariel didn’t speak anything.

“It was just consequences.” Freda said.

“It was my fault not your, Rei...” Seji said.

“Oh, you guys are back. Where is Emilia? And what happened to Mei? And who are they?” Serina asked.

“Where is Master?” Seji asked.

“He was upstairs should be coming- oh he is there, see.” Serina said.

Master Zenon just came out of room after taking bath.

“You are back. How did it go!” Master said in enthusiasm.

“Where is Egan and Emilia?” Master asked.

“That must be Reina, welcome here. Your boyfriend Seji told us about you and was looking all over the place for you. It’s nice to see you in person. And is that Kiriyo?” Master said.

“Yea...” Seji said.

“Oh! That’s great. Kiwari will be overjoyed. Where is Emilia though?” Master said.

“I killed her...” Seji said in sorrow.

Serina's smile faded away. Everyone’s face was filled with grief.

“Stop joking, look I still have em-“ Master was speaking and tried to look for The pact emblem on his palm, but noticed it wasn’t there. His smile faded away into sorrow.

“What exactly happened?” Master asked.

Seji explained what happened.

Tears fell down his cheek, “I’m sorry. I killed her..” Seji said.

Everyone else in guild was sad too. Some shadow attacked Seji with a big sword and Seji fell onto ground. Zoey used blunt side, so, it didn’t harm Seji.

“I told you to leave.” Zoey said while standing above Seji pointing sword towards him.

“Kill me If you want. It's cause of me...” Reina said in sorrow.

“I will.” Zoey said. She was filled with anger and her eyes had tears.

“I’ll accept any punishment... but, let Reina go..” Seji said.

Master held back his tears and thought, “thank you for helping him out, Emilia. May you rest in peace.”

“Giving you punishment won't bring Emilia back!!” Zoey shouted.

“It won't..” Seji said.

“Then di-

“Killing him will only increase our casualties. Don’t forget he gave his best. And save not one but two people. Instead of putting blame on him we should respect him for his courage when others were down. Yes, Emilia's death is sad, not only sad it's one of worsts thing that could have happened. But, look what we have saved too. If Emilia was here she wouldn’t want us to hurt him, instead she would be happy if we respect him for his work. And Emilia, wouldn’t want you to kill him or anyone else.” Master said.

“Respect? He deserves death.” Zoey said.

Seji just stayed silent as tears fall from his eyes and said, “I didn’t want to kill her you know... I wanted to save her too.”

“Enough zoey. Go to your room. Inform Ella, and tell her not to get her anger out on Seji and also tell her that we will need her help in bringing Reina's memory back.” Master said.

Seji slowly stood up. Zoey just went into her room without saying anything.

“I’m sorry. She died because of me.” Reina said.

“It's not your fault, we were trying to save you in first place. Go to your rooms everyone now.” Master said and went to his room.

Master just went inside his room and broke down himself.

While Seji, poached his eyes and went into his room with Reina.

As he walked past Serina, Seji apologized, “I’m sorry to disappoint you all.” And they went in their respective rooms.

Serina didn’t reply but kept crying.

Rune went into Kiwari's room to lay Kiriyo down. While Ariel went in Seji's room to lay Mei down.

“The other room is occupied, Let Mei be here for some time.” Ariel said and continued, “if any room gets free I’ll inform you to lay Mei down there.”

“No, it’s fine. Thank you, Ariel. And I’m sorry...” Seji said and apologized.

“Mhm.” Ariel said and Laid Mei on the bed and went back to her room.

There were Three beds in the room.

Reina went and sat near Mei, seeing Mei's face Reina feels even worse for them.

“For how long have you been looking for me?” Reina asked in sorrow.

“Was for about a month.” Seji said.

His brain was again in a conflict, “I should have killed Reina, not Emilia. But, I can’t afford to lose her again..”

“I must have hurt you.” Reina said.

Seji just went and sat on floor laying his back on wall and facing in Reina’s direction.

“I have hurt you too then. I kept you waiting for so long. And even let that guy steal you from me.” Seji said in sorrow.

“I don’t remember anything now except that...” Reina said in sorrow.

“We will bring them back, I promise. I know you had memories the night we came into Castle, he must have erased after that night. Do you remember anything?” Seji said.

“I don’t.” Reina said.

“What’s your full name?” Seji asked.

“Reina.” Reina replied.

“Reina Shinzo.” Seji said.

“Shinzo... it all seems familiar but I don’t remember...” Reina said.

Both of them had grief inside and outside their bodies.

“Sejiyoi Midaro.” Seji said.

“That’s also so familiar, but I can’t remember...” Reina said.

They stopped talking and Seji just looked at Reina with expressionless face.

“I want to die...” Reina said with teary eyes.

Seji's conflicted thinking stopped after hearing those words from Reina's mouth. His feeling of love came back, and his face got filled with anger.

“Do you know what are you saying?” Seji asked.

Reina kept silent, she got a little scared seeing Seji like that.

“Do you know? I've already lost you more than twice and you are saying that? WHAT THE HECK IS YOUR PROBLEM!?!” Seji said and punched the floor. His eyes got teary.

“I love you, I can’t lose you. Stop being like that. It hurts. It just hurts me. It hurts too much to stay away from you. It hurts too much.” Seji said and cried.

“Do you know? This is not first time we have been apart from each other, but this just hurt most. More than I could ever imagine. Every single night I thought about you, if you are okay, if you are doing well and if you are even alive.” Seji said.

“But.. I’m the reason she die-

“No, you dumbass. That’s not true. I’m the one who killed her... I could have killed myself instead, my selfishness got better of me and I just went to kill her... I’m the one who should have died, not her not you not anyone else...” Seji said and broke down.

Hearing those words they pierced Reina's heart. Tears gathered in her eyes without knowing for what thy are. Her brain went blank and she just wanted to cry.

Reina stood up and ran towards Seji, She hugged him and started cried.

“I’m sorry.. I won’t say that.. I’m sorry, I hurt you.” Reina said while crying.

Seji just hugged her back and kept crying.

Without knowing about Seji, Reina's heart said just hug him, and she did. And before they could notice they slept like that.

Everybody in Guild cried that day, no one had dinner either, to show their respect for dead. Everybody got their grief out by crying, marking it a black day in Elemental's history.
