Why am I in a car? I shake my head and grab at Bolt, "Wake up! Gladius! Fox!" Bullets hit the car, I fall to the floor and grab a gun. A few seconds later, the constant spray of bullets ceases. "Come on out or die!"
I take a deep breath while clenching the gun. I peer out, a band of men slowly approach. I crawl up front and check Gladius. His head's against the wheel as Fox slowly bleeds from her head hitting the dash.
After crawling into the back again, I raise my rifle. Before I jerk the gun out the window, Bolt yanks me back, staring
back with wild eyes. He digs into my arm with his grip and shakes his head. "I'll come for you, I promi-" Someone punches him out, "Hands up now!" I throw them up, "Please don't!" He hits me on the head with his gun's stock.
Water splashes against my covered face, to the point I choke. "Rise and shine!" The hood comes off as I coughed up water. "Fuck yo-" A punch landed to my gut. "Where is Milo?" "Who?" He laughs, "He doesn't know who Milo is?" Laughs come from behind before he gets in my jaw. "The hacker! Where is he?!" I stare up at him, "Do you know who I am?"
He kneels, grabs at my neck and cheek, "A harmless, crazy cripple." My legs sit on the table behind him. "So harmless, you could untie him." "Why sir?" He pushes off my face and stands up, "Do it!" They cut the zip ties and I sit still.
I eye lock with him and smirk. He leans in, "See? Noth-" I poke him in the eyes, he reels back. He takes out a knife and puts it to my eye, "You dog bitch!"

Before he can play more, I laugh as the lights shut off. "Shit! Someone's here!" The others leave the room. "Now, where were we?" He gets close as the table behind him rattles.
He quickly turns around as I grab his leg, allowing him to topple himself over. I quickly fall on him and use my fist like a hammer. He begs for me to stop, but all I hear are screams. They stop as I hear a crack in the side of his head.
A loud clang comes from the table and the legs fall down. "You're alive, huh?" They spring out little kick stands to hop
towards my knees. One falls over next to the guy's eye, "No." I grimace as the peg impales it, I pull it out of him and
point at it, "Bad leg, bad."
It makes a staticy sound. I sit upright and slap them in place. "Quickly little guys." They whirr until they click. "Now
let's get these fuckers." I take his knife and wait. "Let me at them." I turn to a mirror and rub my eyes.
"Samuel?!" I back up behind the door. Samuel's friend walks in and I get him in the neck before whispering in his ear, "Thanks for the gun."
I twist, then let him drop. I shake my head in the mirror. A deep sigh leaves me as I force a smile. I cock his gun and
shout, "Help! Samuel's dead!" "He's armed!" I press my lips together and pull up Samuel's friend. "Sorry buddy."
They come in and after a blink of an eye combined with a spray of bullets, they all drop.

Drinker of the Yew: A Necromancer's Tale
Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. Those celebrations, though, turned to wary tension as the paladin brought an unknown into their midst - his wife Nayinis, who wears the markings of a necromancer. Who is this woman? Why has she come to their village? Nayinis divulges her shadowed past, for she needs the village's trust to defeat the powerful foe that she has been summoned by the divine to face. What to expect: This is a slow-paced, dark, epic-fantasy book written mostly in an archaic first-person style, remniscent of fariy-tale at times. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5. MeiQ: Lore of the Labyrinth
Omaros City lays near one of several Yggdrasil trees that are scattered around the world. Each tree holds an entire labyrinthine ecosystem within or beneath it, yet the mysteries of their origins and what lays in their depths are only ever unraveled by the most skilled and courageous of explorers. Exploration of Omaros' Yggdrasil labyrinth is still in its fledgling stages, drawing in many with the allure of fame and glory that has yet to be claimed. Enter the harbinger Dubhan—cheerful, determined, and not terribly skilled at thinking ahead—and warlock Allouet— intelligent and resourceful, but desperately in over his head. Together, the two of them have half an idea of what they're doing at best, but that's not going to stop them from aiming for the labyrinth's unknown depths. MeiQ is, at its core, a fanfiction inspired by the Etrian Odyssey franchise, alternatively known as Sekaiju no Meikyuu in Japan. Despite that, it is written with the intent to be enjoyable by those unfamiliar with the series as well. The characters and the city of Omaros are original, while the story draws upon lore and recurring concepts from the game series. However, Etrian Odyssey is known for its lore being sparse and open to speculation, so much of the details provided in this story are exactly that—a fan’s speculation and personal expansion of the lore. This story was also inspired by and written as part of HereBeTreasure's Fast Food Frontpage Competition, enjoy some simple dungeon exploration plot and whatever else pops up from this.

Sector 27
It wasn't until June 3, 2101 that World War 4 ended. This was not a war that ended in peace treaties or truces; this war ended with disease. The atomic war caused plague and disease that crippled major countries. The generals and great leaders of the countries at war died from the radiation that penetrated every part of the globe. It was only then that humanity realized what they had done- what they had created. The first ever mutant was publicly executed the very day the war ended, and a new war began: the war against mutants. The surviving nation of Japan quickly rebuilt their country by dividing it into safe zones, or Sectors. There are currently 26 livable sectors in Japan; Sector 1 is the richest sector and the only sector that has completely rid itself of all radiation left over from the war. In fear against the threat of mutants, the once small section of the police force grew until it became the main police force in Japan. After all, humans shouldn't be blamed for crimes when the real threat to society is mutants. This police force that goes by their motto: Special Treatment Against Mutants (STAM) is comprised of agents that go about their work to capture and detain all mutants. Sector 26 is the poorest sector that humans can barely survive in; but there is one more part of Japan. This "dead zone" has such a high concentration of radiation that if a human were to step inside the barrier, they would die in mere moments. But within this dead zone, this 27th Sector, there lies a secret organization of mutants that fight against STAM and protect all mutants from their grasp. The Mutant Recovery and Protection Agency (MRPA) operates to hide mutants in society and allow them to live human lives. The only thing that stands in MRPA's way is STAM and its agents who hunt them down ruthlessly, so MRPA has their own set of skilled agents. And the battle rages on...
