《Cultivation Apocalypse [Rewritten Version]》Prologue

With knowledge of human behavior, it is perfectly reasonable to think that, unless they’re destroyed in the blink of an eye, humanity would go down kicking, screaming, crying and cursing. And yet, when the world as humanity knew it stood on the precipice, they went about their business as usual. Mothers and fathers went to work, and their children to school. People were born, some died, others lived, and still others merely survived. Wars were fought, with weapons and with words. A completely average day, the best kind of day for something decidedly unusual announce itself.

Ding!

The sudden noise and appearance of glowing words in their vision brought everyone and everything to a screeching halt. Many thought they had gone insane, some ignored it as simply the usual antics of their mind, and a few worshipped it as the herald of the end times.

[World 5118208, designation “Earth”]

[“Earth” size = Grade F]

[“Earth” Qi = Grade G]

People panicked, people rejoiced, people gave up, and people cursed the heavens. No one knew what the glowing words meant, save for one thing: change, on a cataclysmic scale, was imminent.

[“Earth” fauna deemed inadequate]

[“Earth” flora deemed inadequate]

[“Earth” topography deemed inadequate]

To see the varied menagerie of their planet’s plants, animals, and geographical features deemed inadequate was shocking. The varied extremes of environments and adapted wildlife fell short of some form of cosmic standards? The variation between the crushing depths of the ocean, the highest mountain peaks, hottest deserts and coldest tundra wasn’t enough?

[“Earth” parameters severely suboptimal]

[Terraforming and accelerated Qi adaptation recommended]

[Actions delayed: sentient species relocation required]

And thus, with nary a chance to question the who, what, why, or how of the matter, humanity vanished from the face of the planet, a planet that changed and grew rapidly. And so, the world as humanity knew ended, with neither a bang nor a whimper, but a ding.
