《Saga of Osin》Chapter 25

Moon is working in a furious frenzy. He has to replicate Shera's unique talent into an enchantment. Shera broke down how her [Talent] works and it was just illuminating. Her entire body is enveloped by a force field that rejects all other energy types.
The reason she can blood magic is the fact that her [Talent] has to be activated in order to reject external energies. However, once you absorb some form of external energy it won't try to expel it from the body.
"There's a simple spell called [Blood Extraction]. It's one of the hallmarks of blood-related magic. You just need to make something that protects against it."
"Can you explain how it works?"
"Sure," Shera grabs her left hand and starts. "I infuse my mana into the other person's body and allow it to mix with the other person's blood."
A small trickle of blood starts flowing out of her hand, "Once that's done I just pull it out. This is a very simplified version of how it works in the real life."
That's so simple. I could try something like that. There has to be a catch. If this spell was so accessible everybody would be trying it.
"However, this spell is working with such ease because I'm attempting it on myself. If I attempted it on another mage their mana would counteract mine and repel mine." That's an interesting thing. I have to learn [Mana Storage]. The sooner I get the basics under my belt the faster I can finish this.

Rimpa had been wandering around in these god-forsaken lands for a week or so now. He was armed with nothing and the only thing on his back were the starter reincarnation clothes. He was wearing some chainmail, a helmet, and some armor. He'd looted it from a band of deserters.

He was running at full-throttle right now trying to catch up to a red dot on his map. It was night time and the dot wasn't moving anymore. He just had to kill this guy and his quest would be over.
One more person and all this would be over. He could continue on his way. He estimated the distance from the person and stopped. Whoever it was they were surrounded by a bunch of medieval knights.
He could just abandon this guy but the next dot on his map was in the opposite direction. It would take too long and he had no idea where the undead were moving right now. He could take care of five or six undead before he was discovered but an entire army was out of his capabilities.
This guy is it.
He activated his skill: [Hide Presence and Soul]. He melded into the world. He cracked his knuckles and walked straight into the knight's camp.
He had to make sure that he didn't bump into anyone and just get down to his target. If he could slit his throat with minimal fanfare, he could get out of here. Away from this war-torn land.
He dodged the knights and walked near the man. He was in an open clearing, in full view of the knights. He would have a chance. He just needed to be patient.
He sat down on a boulder and started taking minimal breaths. He could feel his skill activation getting stronger. Maintaining it during movement was a lot riskier then being stationary. It had made him dizzy in the beginning but now he could sit in one place for hours.
The knights didn't let any of them out of their sight.

Kane was drinking some warm mead mixed in with curd. It wasn't appetizing at all but the taste had grown on her over the years. She locked her gaze with her deputy. He'd sensed it too.

There was a chill crawling up and down her spine. What kind of beast had infiltrated their camp? She wouldn't have been able to sense it if it weren't for her artifact. The deputy had a unique skill for it or perhaps it had to do with his talent.
She nodded to him with a quiet glare. The deputy got up and moved to the rear, out of sight. He would circle in from behind. Kane grabbed a short bow and got up. Perhaps, it was a spy sent by Helion. The thought just fueled her rage.
She stumbled and tried to keep her body upright. She was saying some unintelligible things. Her men didn't follow her. They let her be since they thought she was grieving.
She moved near the group of prisoners they'd captured. The enchanter had been working for a few hours now. He'd requested some materials and Kane had commanded them to give him whatever he needed.
There was a moment of clarity and her training pulled in. She grabbed an arrow, loaded it up, and launched it at the beast in a matter of seconds. Her deputy did the same from behind him. She didn't stop until she'd launched about five arrows.
She was surprised to find that it wasn't a beast. Instead, it was a man. His entire body was bleeding and blood was gurgling out of his throat.
Her men were up and about. All of them had gathered around the body. She could tell that they were disturbed by this.
She placed her foot on his chest and put some weight on. "Who are you?"
He just shook his head, he was in no condition to speak. "Get the healer over here. Keep him alive, let's see why he's here."
She handed the bow to one of her men and went to sleep in one of the carriages. She was too tired to deal with this for now.
Off to the side, Osin was staring at the map in his vision. It had a blinking red dot right beside him. He'd overlooked the fact that people might be able to hide from the map.
He locked eyes with Rimpa. He'd been so close to death without even realizing it.

RE: Souls War Apocalyse
When I and every other humans on earth have been summoned to the cursed world of Yvelmore, to serve as a front-line soldier in an impossible war against an invasion of nightmarish creatures, I knew right away that something was going to go wrong. I was right. The war? Hell, we lost it so much all the nations of the world have been destroyed and all the races have disappeared. Me? I was a veteran who survived until the end. Was I strong? Fuck yeah of course I was, except ... it was useless, I died like everybody else. The bad news? When I thought it was finally over, I woke up in the past, the moment I was summoned to the beginning of the war. Come on, seriously? Do I really have to go through all that again? What? And everything restarts every time I die? No... are you fucking kidding me? Right? Genre: Action, Adventure, Medieval Apocalypse, Times Loops, Progression, War & Fantasy, Grimdark, Magic, Horror, LitRPG (but RP). Tone: Despair at the firsts chapters (which makes sense for a story that begins with the end of the world, doesn't it?), and lots of humor and stupid situations after to lighten the tone of the story. (Oh, and the MC is NOT a psychopath, a rapist, a hypocrite, or human garbage, so sorry for those who like that, because I don't like that). Note: Expect this story to contain grammatical errors and occasional random conjugations. I am learning English, and I have made a lot of progress, but I still have some gaps. So if you're allergic to it, don't read this story, you would inevitably be disappointed.

The Priest of Genes
Meet Seth, acolyte in the Church of Virtue. He’ll be a Priest like his father soon, he just knows it. Sure he didn’t inherit his mother’s preaching power, but he doesn’t mind being the secondary priest at whatever temple he is assigned to. Just as long as he has a library. Meet this genetics textbook. Hmm, that doesn’t belong here. It must have come from somewhere far away, I guess something happened to its owner. I’m sure a studious young man who likes healing could go far with this information, whether he wants to or not. This is my first time really writing anything, so I hope you like it! Please let me know if I make any mistakes; I have a new R&D tech job at a genomics company, so I probably don’t edit as much as some people. I’m shooting for two thousand-ish word chapters released on Sundays, since none of the webnovels I read ever seem to update that day. Underserved Market! Genre is fantasy, possibly progression fantasy. Maybe a tiny bit litRPG if you wait a while and squint really hard, but that’s the most I’m prepared to claim. Hedged my bets on the content warnings, nothing that bad. Cover art from A. W. Gelman
