“Thank you Your Majesty!” Zvaik quickly thanked her.
Yue nodded and looked to the men and women beside Zvaik. “Department of Agriculture, Kaim, has nothing to report!”
“Department of Crime, Sha, we had requested the departments of Magic and Technology to cooperate with us to make new, non-lethal, weapons against criminals or those criminally insane.”
“Department of Magic, Lasda, has made a new breakthrough in shielding our ships against the cosmic radiation, we have also cooperated with Crime and Technology to make new non-lethal weapons against criminals.”
“Department of Technology, Raz, has cooperated with Magic and Crime for non-lethal weapons.”
“Department of Medicine, Elena, we have used magic and technology to create a new form of pacemaker.”
“Department of Energy, Protesa, we have created a new battery that works by combining electricity and qi.”
“Department of Qi, Orla..”
They quickly reported everything they had. When the last person to speak finished Yue looked towards Protesa. “A new battery? Perfect. I want one as soon as you can.” Protesa quickly looked up “Yes Your Majesty!”
This is my departments chance! If I can impress Her Majesty with this battery she might give us a bigger budget! She nodded quickly in her head with a big smile. “I have one here Your Majesty.” She took out a normal looking battery with no brand markings on it yet and passed it over.
The other ministers looked at the battery as they passed it over to Yue. “Electricity and Qi you said? So I assume it would be very powerful then?” She looked at Protesa slightly confused.
Protesa looked at Yue in pride. “Indeed, it’s as powerful as a nuclear reactor. We are still looking into why electricity and qi both make it very powerful, but we do know it can last an extremely long time from our tests in the Time Forest machine.”

Yue quickly kept the battery inside of her dimensional storage space. “Very good! Kola, increase the Energy department's budget.” Kola glared at Protesa and said with no anger in his voice. “Yes Your Majesty.”
Protesa nearly squealed from the joy. Her students will definitely work harder now!
“Are there any other reports or the like?” Yue looked at everyone to see them shaking their heads. “Very well. Then I would like to congratulate Saule on her 2000th birthday!” Saule quickly stood up and bowed while the other ministers clapped and congratulated her.
“Meeting dismissed!” All of the ministers gathered their belongings and walked out of the room.
Saule walked over to Yue and began complaining. “You always do this! You know I don’t like it when you tell everyone!” Yue just hugged her until she calmed down and her flush faded.
“My little War departments head gets flustered over other people knowing her birthday, very cute, isn't it?” Yue teased Saule for another couple of minutes. “Ok, ok. I’m going back to finish the DTC.”
She was quickly driven back to the university and she rushed to her research room. She wanted to quickly try this new battery Protesa made.
On the way to her room she saw the new students who had not yet learned to keep their black wings and purple halo’s. They had very sharp nails and vampire like teeth. When they saw her they were stunned and quickly bowed. “Great Empress!”
She merely smiled at them. “Work hard, you’re our future!” They were clearly flustered and grateful. The Empress spoke to them! It’s not something that happens everyday.
When she approached the door it opened and she quickly entered. She once again put on the black robe but kept the purple dress inside of her dimensional storage space. She took out the battery from the space and walked towards the DTC. She fiddled around and made a new port for the battery to be inserted inside.

She couldn’t withhold the pain and quickly lost consciousness.
“Ana gero smaon?” -Do you think she’s ok?
“Ne, vai ne feac kad she skoda!?” -No, don’t you see she’s hurt?
“Parnes jimo.” -Carry her home.

The Genesis System
Genesis. It is the end of countless stories. The end of thousands of universes, billions of planets, and trillions of lives. But what is taken may also be given, as shown in the story of Cael King. A young man of Earth, knowing only a life of study and work in the relentless and endless pursuit of satisfaction. This is the origin of his story. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Inspired by the system used in The Legend of Randid.ly Ghosthound. The system is an homage but the characters, world, and story are unique. I will post as often as I can and, given that I am not starting work until July, that should be pretty frequently. If you have any suggestions or comments please feel free to leave them as this is my first story and I'd love to improve both it and my writing style. This is my Patreon. A Fractal Divide
Lesivar is a city in ascendancy. With recent innovations in magical crafting, the common people are experiencing a boom in comfort and wealth. The nobility, long used to being the stewards of knowledge and power, struggle to adapt to the new world in which they find themselves. A precarious balance has been maintained throughout, but forces stir beneath the surface threatening to send the city spiraling into chaos. This is my first attempt at writing anything longer than a short story, and I welcome any feedback or corrections. I'm posting this as I write, with each chapter going live upon completion. My current pace is about a chapter a day, which I expect to take my through the end of November. From there, I'm shooting for a chapter every two-three days until the book is completed, along with an editing pass of what is already up. I'm planning on three POV characters with unique insight into the story as it unfolds. Each chapter will contain only one POV. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Wild Child
Flynn was a normal college student with a normal routine. Wake up, go to school, come home, do homework, laze around until midnight, lay in bed trying not to let the existential dread of inevitable death set it, and go to sleep. Completely normal stuff, really. That is until he mysteriously wakes up in a space between dimensions with game-like prompts demanding he purchase skills before he is sent off to another world. And look at that, it only takes 95% of his skill points to buy the [Eternal Youth] skill, what a steal! Too bad that in this new world there is no civilization, uh… anywhere. ---------------- Hey all, this is just a side project I’m working on in my spare time so I don’t get burned out while writing my more planned out stories. I’m making all of this up as I go on, so read at your own risk.

The Keys to the Blankspace
Ives was a normal college student who luckily found interdimensional keys that let him transport through time and space via interdimensional doors. Unluckily, he uses it one too many times and gets trapped in an alternate realm known as the blank space. This series does not contain much sci-fi, more psy-fi, and maybe a ko-fi ad. (Maybe not).
