He threw a book at me, and I quickly caught it. I looked through the book to find the pages about Snake Bears. This book had everything you need to know about animals that are a threat to fishers.

Finally, I found it after what felt like an eternity, I looked through the information quickly. It says that the snake bear is blind but can sense movement very well.

It is most vulnerable when you twist its ear, it will go from dangerous to not harmful.

''SHOJI, I FIGURED IT OUT'' I screamed to Shoji.

''W-WHAT?!?'' he screamed back.

It was already too late for him to stop him, I was already climbing up. If the bear did not have any fur, it would have been impossible to climb up.

It's unbelievable, a full-grown snake bear can reach up to the speed of 120-130 KM/H, is it possible for a human to be that fast?

''D-Did you see that Hayato'' I asked.

''Saw what'' he answered.

Shit, he didn't see it, If I tell him he might lose motivation, what should I do?

''What are you talking about Shoji? What did you see'' he asked?

''Oh, uhm I saw a dog eating poop'' I said with a weird laugh.

Man, Shoji Is weird, what dog is he talking about. But man, Ryuu running that fast, that is incredible!

Atlas we made it to the finish line, as soon as we made it, we both jumped down and the bear went through a big door. There were stairs leading up to the door.

We both, eager to see what is waiting, sprinted up. The light from the door was so bright.

When we went through the door It was like a whole another world. I was used to being underground and having the limited light, but this is much better.

I saw Ryuu standing not so far away. He was standing next to a tree. Everyone who was there was already facing the same direction, there were about 10 or 12.

It was a big and long river and next to it was our teacher standing.

''Oh well, looks like there aren't any more coming sometime soon, so I'll just begin now'' he said.

I looked back at the door, the ground wasn't gone, so why start now?

''Excuse me sir, mind if I ask a question?'' I asked.

The teacher sighed at first.

''Go ahead'' he said with an annoyed voice.

''Why start now when the ground isn't gone yet'' I asked.

It was silent.

''Well, to be honest with you, I think only you guys can clear the test'' he said.

''HOWEVER, you can still fail this exam, you only finished the first out of the three phases in the first exam'' he said.

The teacher looked back to the river.

''Quite the scenery isn't it'' he began.

''Come and sit next to the river, it's part of a fisher's life to look at rivers and oceans'' he said.

Everyone slowly went and sat down next to him.

''Now then, everyone is sitting now'' he began.

''The next phase is about swimming'' he said with a grin.
