Supreme Evolution System

It was a cold September morning and the wind was brewing a storm all over Stockholm. The leaves were blowing everywhere, and the lazy, sleepy man opened up his eyes. Alexander opened up his eyes and stared at the blinding white ceiling as if the clouds from outside had come into the room. The floorboards made a loud creaking noise as he got out of bed, he went towards the kitchen and opened up the fridge looking at the miserable, empty inside.

"I need to go shopping" he muttered to himself and patted his stomach. He closed the fridge and noticed that the time was 6:00 am and he was late. As he rushed around in a whirlwind trying to get ready, but he still took some time to stare at himself in the mirror. Alexander wasn't the most unfortunate in looks, but he failed to recognise it.

He found his mind wandering over how someone could ever find him attractive. The toothbrush was put back into the cup as the time hit 6:15 am when Alexander was done. The door locked as he headed out. He noticed his neighbour Sam going to his apartment after another night shift, he always looked far too drained and on the verge of collapsing.

Alexander pushed open the heavy lobby door and was out on Stockholm's streets. Heading for his job at the newspaper, he was surrounded by swarms of people going their own way, which always made him feel so alone. He reached the office 15 minutes before he was supposed to clock in, going up the stairs he noticed a childhood friend and co-worker of his standing at the top of the stairs.

"Morning Axel, how are you doing today?" he said looking at his old buddy, Axel was slightly older than Alexander and they had known each other since middle school. Axel was a rather tall muscley man with fair skin and gorgeous blond hair. "Oh, Alexander you made it in time today?" Axel stated in surprised. "Yeah, surprisingly I'd put in the effort for the last day of work before the break."

Axel listened to his old friend and started recalling something as he said "yeah now that you're saying that I remember you finally got your paid vacation approved congratulations man"

"Thanks, yeah finally after all these years I can finally relax," Alexander said as he giggled a little bit after that he headed into the office and found his place, and started working. Writing articles was one of Alexander's expertise and he could finish two to three articles in a single day, the fastest in the entire news station. The time was ticking by and the hours drained as sand through the hourglass as his shift was coming to an end.

"Arrgh it's finally over" Alexander stretched and yawned a little as he stood up from his chair nodding to his desk neighbour, he was heading for the entrance as he noticed his boss miss Emma standing there in her business suit looking at him walking toward her.

"Hello Alexander, you finally get that vacation now hope to see you come back later energized for work" she sneered as she watched the young man in front of her. Alexander slightly smiled as he nodded at her remark "Yeah finally get time off, well I'll see you in December boss." Alexander said with a clear deep voice as he passed by the boss and headed down the stairs. After opening the front door of the office building Alexander noticed that the weather had gotten warmer and the blue sky was making an appearance.

"Wow the sun is out, now that is rare." he thought as he walked out of the building and onto the streets as he passed by the masses of people Alexander walked past a big park and noticed that under a tree in the corner of the park the grass was still somewhat green. Sleepy and now finally on break Alexander decided to take a little nap under the said tree as he sat down under the giant oak tree he laid down looking up at the baby blue sky and slowly fell asleep.

After an unknown amount of time had past Alexander got woken up by loud noise above his head opening his eyes slowly and looking up what he saw terrified him. Right above him, Alexander saw blades of a lawnmower rotating at an extremely high-speed close to his face screaming out loud almost bursting his lungs Alexander was slowly losing consciousness as the sharp blades were hacking his face up, blood spewing everywhere as his nose got cut off cleanly.

But right before losing his consciousness, Alexander heard a weird female voice in his ear that he had never heard before telling him something rather interesting.

"Supreme Evolution System initialized readying the host for the reincarnation."
