《In Alien Eyes》The Final Argument

“So, Lucifer, looks like I’m winning this round.”
“Slow down, Creator. I still have time.”
“Come on. What can you do in a couple of minutes?”
“Minutes? You are forgetting, Creator, they have a little over a year in Earth time.”
“That’s not enough for any kind of serious project. Remember how long the October coup took in 1917?”
“Yeah, I had to pull some teeth.”
“And that scam of yours in ‘62 at the Bay of Pigs… Do you remember ‘Black Saturday’? They already had their fingers on the red button.”
“Yeah, they were almost on the verge, Creator. If only Khrushchev hadn’t…”
“Should have, could have… They say “if my aunt had been a man, she'd have been my uncle.” So enough with what-ifs! Yes, I was lucky with Khrushchev and Kennedy then. But what do you have against me now, with only one earth year left till the end of this round?”
“You know, now they are changing values, reconsidering history, religion…”
“So what?”
“They have always sought a scientific explanation of our existence. Remember that ancient theory about the Sun?”
“Which one? The one where I’m the Sun giving Life, Light, and Energy?”
“Yes, that one. Remember I complained that they made you the Sun but never figured out a cosmic reference for the Devil?”
“I do. Did they finally figure one out?”
“Looks like they did.”
“I’m intrigued. What could it be, Lucifer? Something devouring Life, Light, and Energy? Like some sort of hole, a Black Hole...”
“I have always appreciated your uncanny ability to tell it like it is, Creator. It actually is the Black Hole.”
"Not only did they figure out the reference, but they have, in fact, long been working to bring it to life. Humans are confident that they have built a device to study the collisions of one kind of accelerated microscopic particles with others. You know, I am more of a poet, I’m not good with atoms and protons, but I have a gut feeling that they are on the right track. So I wouldn’t be too confident about this being the end of the round. I, the Black Hole, am going through field testing on Earth now, and it is quite possible that the Fallen Angel will return to heaven very soon and will invite himself to share your FIRE. So set the table, and please, serve more of Life, Light, and Energy. I'm very hungry!"

From Wikipedia: “A significant amount of attention from public and media representatives has been drawn to the potential disasters that might occur as a result of operating the Large Hadron Collider. The hottest topic is the possibility of the occurrence of microscopic black holes, which may lead to a chain reaction of capturing surrounding matter, as well as the appearance of strangelets, which hypothetically are capable of transforming all matter in the Universe into strangelets.”

Rise of the First Necromancer
Asrael Nessarat awakes on a sandy dune with a mouthful of sand and nothing but tattered rags in his posession. As the High Magus of the school of Necromancy, he once aspired to prove to the Emperor that magic still held a place in their society. But that day came, passed and inevitably accelerated his kind's downfall. Now; they are hunted, strung up and burned on pyres throughout the Empire by the Emperor's holy Inquisition- an efficient and ruthless army hell-bent on bleeding every last droplet of magic from the lands. With nothing but a mouthful of sand and tattered rags; Asrael is determined to seek the one thing his cold, still heart desires. Vengeance. This story can, at times, get very dark. It is not recommended for the faint of heart. This is not a story of an overtly powerful wizard who can pulverize his enemies from across the world, nor is it in any way, shape or form a joyous tale. We follow Asrael as he and his companions explore and seek to change an unjust world, where kindness and acceptance are exceptions, rather than the rule. If you are looking for a story to inspire hope or joy, this is not it. If you wish to read about likeable, heroic people, turn around. If you wish to see good battle evil, where the cut in between is clear, then this is not for you.

The Hero’s party was attacked by a large group of powerful devils. The party will no doubt be annihilated if this were to go on. One member of the party, the strongest mage, Rakku, decided to stop the enemies in their tracks. 「Leave it to me here and go!」 「But……」 「Hey, I’ll catch up immediately, alright?」 Rakku mindlessly defeated the enemies, over and over again. Using his special skill, Learning, Rakku learned the devils’ magic. As he studied and utilised the devils’ abilities such as Drain Touch, he continued fighting, without rest nor sleep. The devils got stronger and stronger, but Rakku grew rapidly as well. Rakku battled for 10 years, until no devils came at him. Rakku returned to the capital, and was surprised to discover that his own name had become the currency, and a gigantic statue of him, albeit fairly beautified, was made. Due to him relentlessly absorbing the vitality of the devils, he had become young again. An appearance unfitting of his age. Godly abilities. 「I stand out too much」 Rakku concealed his true identity, and decided to pretend being a novice adventurer by disguising himself as a F-rank warrior despite being an S-rank mage. His adventure in this now peaceful (?) world starts now!
