《Heart Of A Servant》Chapter 13

After the paperwork was completed and Kyle received a membership card giving him the right to participate in an auction, he was given a lavishly decorated room to live in before the next auction started.
That room was located somewhere inside the Immortal Treasure house.
As for my invisible self, Bran, I was wondering how I could convince him to clone himself. Maybe he could be open to the idea...I wouldn't know without asking him. Which I did.
I summoned ally courage and then told him: "You know...I found a very interesting new spell in the Magus Stone."
He was reading a book about the history of the Riren continent given to him at his request by old manager Elias. He looked up and fixed me and then said: "Can that new spell of yours bring us back to our home planet so I can finally meet my parents?"
I shook my head answering:" No. It cannot bring us back...but..." Before I could even finish my words, I heard a strange chuckle coming from him as he returned to his reading saying: "Then it is not interesting."
It is true. I was to blame for us being stranded in an unknown world.
I could understand some of his anger as I too was angry about being helpless in this situation.
To try and find a solution, I sent a part of my soul to investigate inside the Magus Stone. While I learned hundreds of new spells every day and sorted them out, I was angry about not finding a specific spell I was ardently looking for.
Going back home wasn't really hard. I only lacked two things: the way of seeing where I was going and a nigh endless amount of mana.
The way of seeing where I was going was a spell that allowed me to see and calculate the movements of the planets and stars. With that ability to see such things, I only needed enough mana to power a Bloodline Spell that would target the Brightmoon family and tell me which planet near which star I was to teleport to.

If the planet was close, I would need less mana to teleport there.
If the home planet was far away, then we would have to make multiple stops along the way. We would be forced to stop on inhabited or barren planets to recharge our mana. Depending on how far we were, it could take us years or just a few days.
"Do you not want to know what the spell does?" I said as I had yet to abandon the idea of having my own student.
Appearing annoyed, he didn't even deign to look up and continued reading as he said: "Of all the spells in there, you chose that one to annoy me... Alright...impress me...what does it do?"
"With a drop of blood from you and a sacrifice of a high-level beast with high vitality, I can cast this spell and then create a clone. It will be its own entity with your memories and a part of your soul. It will also be created with an attunement with mana that is out of this world which will allow it to become the best mage to ever live." I said in one breath.
Finally, he stopped reading and I could see the shock on his face.
"I ...am not comfortable with this." He said.
He didn't have to tell me anything else. By reading his mind, I understood that he was terrified by the idea of interacting with another self.
And what would he tell his parents or the Brightmoon family should they find out about his clones...yes...I say clones because I envisioned creating a few versions of him. The more students I had, the happier I would be.
After understanding that it was going to happen and that he had no say in it, he appeared to settle down and made his peace, going back to his reading.

After a long silence, Kyle then said:" Hey, Bran, what's a Magus God? Are they stronger than you?"
I was caught off guard. How could he possibly know about Magus Gods? I was sure I had never told him.
"Are they being mentioned in that history book? Let me see." I said as my staff lightly touched the book and all the information inside flowed in my mind.
It turned out that there were three Magus Gods ruling the continent and all three were brothers.
The three brothers had come from the neighboring Zenith continent a thousand years ago.
The discovery of the Riren continent was an accident and ever since their arrival no other known adventurer had found his way to this continent from another continent.
Davis, Mark and Zayn were their names. And their clan name was Kane.
For three brothers to have become Magus Gods, I surmised that their clan had a complete Rune inheritance.
For one to become a Magus God for the magician power system or a Primus for the Hallowed Swordsmen power system, one had to comprehend a Runic Law and inscribe its Rune on his body.
After inscribing the Rune, the body would undergo a transformation from mortal to divine allowing it to contain an endless amount of mana for magicians or essence for hallowed Swordsmen whilst making it as immortal as the soul.
Most importantly, one would also gain the power of the Rune comprehended. A power that could be used anytime one wanted without any need for a power source like mana like the spells needed.
It was at that moment that it dawned on me that we were lucky. Were we to arrive near one of these Magus Gods, we would've been captured immediately as I suspected that otherworlders like us would have value.
They would've felt the undulations of the Magus Stone as it brought us to this planet. Since the Stone brought us to this planet, it should be safe to assume that there should be records of its existence somewhere.
It was imperative that we attract less attention as of this moment lest we incur the interest of the Magus Gods on this continent.
I then seriously said to Kyle: "There are still two days left before the auction. It is enough time for me to promote your strength to the Master Hallowed Swordsman level. The mana I've been saving up for these three days will be enough."
