《My Classmate is QiLin》An Unlaughing Dianthe

Mountain Sea World is a strange world hidden over Asia. Because of its connection with Asia below, it has the largest area and the largest race of mythical creatures among all the different worlds.
However, there is a Chinese proverb which goes like this: "After a long union, there will be a separation." Any regime in the world will eventually be unified and divided.
Some three thousand years ago, the spirit of the dead water came back to life again, and she led her mythological subjects to put an end to the war, to gather all the nations under her command, and to form a united alliance at her request; with the chosen leaders of each race helping the gods to rule the world.
To this day, there has been no large-scale war in this world for two thousand years, and the god who symbolizes the "Water of the Planet" is Na-Jia, the Queen of Oriental Dragons who was reincarnated three thousand years ago.
[The Roof of the iSTEM School]
Dianthe, who had just left the dean's office, came to Tiantai. She quickly wrote a report on her experience and sent it to her leader Na-Jia. To her surprise, within half an hour after she received a reply from her leader. Na-Jia asked to speak to her through video directly, which made Dianthe feel very shocked.
But she didn't dare to neglect it, so she went back to the classroom to grab her schoolbag; then went back up to the roof put an electronic device similar to a tablet computer on the floor of the rooftop, and began to contact Na-Jia, the Queen of the Oriental Dragon race back in the Mountain Sea World.
However, although Dianthe had gotten rid of the excessive fear, her expression was filled with deep worry again. Obviously, she was worried about how her superior would react after reporting her situation to another superior and what punishment would be given to her.
Soon, the video call was connected. Although the hologram showed some delay and interference due to the distance, the person could still be seen. She bowed respectfully to the little girl with silver hair sitting on the ice throne and dared not say a word more.

Na-Jia frowned at Dianthe, who was on one knee but said nothing to Dianthe, staring at her with sympathetic eyes.
"Well, I see what you said! Don't just kneel! Get up, I know you're loyal to me! You needn't be so nervous. I won't punish you.
"Many thanks, lady goddess!
"In the last two days of hard work for you, I really did not expect that you would be treated like this. I thought that these guys might lay hands on you every few days, but I did not expect that they would dare do it so blatantly in my eyes!
"I feel ashamed because Mythological creatures are being bullied by humans."
"Don't say that. You haven't disgraced me. On the contrary, I'm glad you were able to pull yourself together and report back to me without reservation."
Na-Jia smiled, but Dianthe's expression was a little frightened. Her body began to shake as if she was receiving an electric shock. Obviously, Na-Jia thought ahead of time that she would be timid.
"Your spirit doesn't look so good, is it possible that the American mythical biological exchange has abused you?"
"No, because of recent insomnia and the bad mood, everyone except Michael was very kind and disciplined."
Dianthe tried to be calm and hid her panic so that Na-Jia on video wouldn't notice her panicking and absence of mind.
Na-Jia did not have Dianthe's attention for a long time, so she said seriously, "According to the members of the coalition against myths that being, Michael, who is one of the high ranking members; I didn't think they would go to the level of regional director. I'll check into things thoroughly on my end, however, we also cannot be happy too early. The expansion of the Chinese belief culture program also needs to be perfect."
"Well, although most humans in China have the idea of worshipping mythical creatures, modern atheistic human society is clearly not developing as fast as the feudal society in the past. "

Dianthe couldn't stand it, after all, she asked a key question, at the same time, she was preparing herself silently.
"Ok, I'll take care of it myself," Na-Ja said with a smile. "You don't have to worry about being deported.
"Thank you, your majesty! It's so... "
It was a relief for Dianthe, who saluted her Lord Dragon again, making Na-Jia think that she was too serious.
"Oh, there is no trouble at all, just live your life as if you were studying abroad! By the way, do you make friends there?"
"Friends? I'm not sure I made any friends, but because of Michael, I'm sure there were more enemies in the class... "
Dianthe thought of an image of yesterday when she was surrounded by classmates. She couldn't help be a little depressed shook her head.
"This is not good, you can think of yourself as a spy, you are in an operation to infiltrate the enemy and collect information. The determination to make friends, of course, to them you are not a spy, but in addition to occasionally paying attention to a few small things, you are just a student.
Dianthe asked with some doubts: "Why can't you wait for me to make friends in this city? Is there anything special going on?"
"How can the will of god be easily read by you!"
"Sorry, I shouldn't have asked, but could you tell me what's good about making friends with people?"
"After all, friendship is magic!"
Na-Jia laughed and tried to take Dianthe out of the serious atmosphere, but Dianthe didn't know which animation this sentence came from and took it as an oracle.
"Friendship is magic. I'll follow your instructions!"
"Poof... You really don't have to take it seriously, I'm just being light-hearted... Anyway, this sentence does have its truth."
"Na-Jia, please don't joke around."
Na-Jia refused awkwardly, smiling from ear to ear, obviously laughing hard enough that her stomach hurt. This let Dianthe also realize that her leader was joking, Na-Jia, the dragon queen that let loose a side of her light-hearted personality appeared again.
"Oh, why are you getting more and more serious as a unicorn? Have fun! The QiLin king and I have a less formal relationship, but I'd be happy if you'd put a smile on that face."
"Yes, my Lord... "
"Stop stop! Don't take it seriously! In the future, it's best to call me by my name in private! This is what I'm asking you to do, to curb your rigid behavior."
"Yes, my Lord Na-Jia!
Na-Jia saw that Dianthe was still solemn, and looked at her face like a memorial to her own photos. Finally, she sighed helplessly.
This caused Na-Jia to give up on making her laugh, and to say, like a parent taking her child to school, "Why don't you laugh? Forget it! I will go out to solve this problem and I hope you'll have a good class session this afternoon. Don't sleep. Don't disgrace us Oriental people in the final exam, especially in math.
The video call shut down. It let Dianthe break away from her tight state; she could finally put down her worry.
She sat on the roof and looked up at the sky. Although she knew that her majesty was not a cruel woman and even tried to make life better for herself as a child, she could not smile for some reason. She always felt that there was something missing in her heart.
"A friend? I haven't made friends for more than one hundred years. Will I still make friends?"

The American Dream: An Alternate, Time-Travel Timeline
Due to a mysterious transcendent being, United States Marine Corps First Lieutenant Samuel Kim from the year 2016 is thrown back in time to the year 1775. To make matters worse, he wakes up near Bunker Hill, mere hours before the famed Battle of Bunker Hill is set to begin. Realizing the unique situation he finds himself in, the lieutenant takes the opportunity to change the fate of the battle and ensure an overwhelming American victory. Guided by his "patronizing" "God" and the American revolutionaries, Lieutenant Kim embarks on a journey to help America gain its independence and to ensure the nation uphold its "most promising" ideals from the very beginning. Author's Warning: The story is very rough in the first few chapters (and as some readers pointed out, some parts are laughable, such as "American idealism"). However, the pace and quality of the story improves from chapter four and onwards. You will enjoy the story if you have some interest in history, worldbuilding, and the butterfly effect (along with a few badass characters). So even if you are a bit turned off in the beginning, I promise that the story improves quickly.
