《My Classmate is QiLin》QiLin: Dianthe's Confession
Advertisement
My Chinese name is Zhou Ya-Di, but my English name is Dianthe. Different from my previous noble status, I am now a special exchange student carrying an important task entrusted to me by the king of the Oriental Dragon Clan.
Perhaps, ten years ago, I would have never thought that I would have the life I have now.
I went to an ordinary high school in the United States. As the student representative of Oriental mythical creatures, I came to the human society and cooperated with the American government. I was responsible for making the American government observe the relationship between Oriental mythical creatures and Americans; cultivating the relationship of multi-party cooperation, and easing the international tension between human beings and mythical creatures.
You can call it the Mountain Sea World. Among the four different forms of different worlds created by the Mother Nature, the god of creation; Mountain Sea World symbolizes the "god realm of vast heaven and earth".
I come from the QiLin Commonwealth of the Mountain Sea World. It is a federal country composed of various QiLin races. My race is the land QiLin of the QiLin clan, led by the QiLin King; a member of the Oriental Mythical Creature Alliance (OMCA).
But these were not what I really wanted to express. I actually wanted to share about my true identity.
My identity is the eldest daughter of the QiLin clan patriarch of the earth; the talent that can appear only once in the QiLin clan after tens of thousands of years. I am the student that is taught personally by the QiLin King...
As a result of various advantageous conditions, my status in the Mountain Sea World is not low, and I don't want to show it off. However, most of these other QiLins dream is to bring me in with painful shackles. This is not what I want to pursue or the life I want.
As the eldest daughter of Lord QiLin of the land, I must appear on important occasions for the country and take the stage to show my ability. I even have to participate in political marriage in the future, without the right to choose who I marry.
As a genius who is likely to appear only after ten thousand years in the QiLin family, I must be strict with myself all the time. I can't live up to the expectations of my people and live a free and easy life without my peers.

As the QiLin King personally taught the students, you cannot stop your study or work; you must go through the same kind of cruel competition like the previous student. No one can listen to your inner appeals. If you show your heart, you will only make people laugh at you for looking weak and be bullied for your dignity.
.....................
I am like a puppet controlled by the people in the political arena, like a horse driven to run by pain, like a child forced to wear a mask. I have to be busy in winter and in summer, being unable to rest and keep working. This has been my life since I was a hundred years old.
Ten years, fifty years, a hundred years, two hundred years...
As time went by, I gradually got used to it from the pain and even became immersed in the tireless work. I gradually forgot what I wanted in the first place and I no longer wanted anything more than an occasional walk alone.
In fact, I didn’t know what I wanted at first. I'm probably just bored with my life and hoping to get some freshness.
While suffering, I reached the age of over 390 years old. During this period of the world, a lot of things also happened.
After opening the door of the world again after a thousand years, the king of the eastern dragon sent his soldiers to patrol as usual, but these groups of soldiers were scared. They said the human world had changed. Human beings created steel giant birds flying in the sky…
No longer in awe of mythical creatures, they stared at us with curious and strange eyes, and their enforcers chose to be vigilant and fight back, even using metal weapons to kill the gods, with powers that we no longer use.
After secret negotiations between the leaders of the two sides, human beings and mythical creatures reached an agreement, the two sides were able to communicate peacefully across the world gate. We ushered in a new world, and new things met our endless curiosities.
May, for any young mythological creatures, are very much looking forward to that, but I heard that there are new things; but they are no longer interesting because I think that what happens in this world, in addition to the important event; they have nothing to do with oneself.
More than ten years ago, when I continued to work and study, I naturally became the most outstanding unicorn of my age and was promoted to work under the King of the Oriental Dragon Clan. They liked my ability and gradually noticed my abnormality. I'm afraid that the abnormality was that I never really laughed.

However, I should be proud but I cannot laugh out because I always feel something empty... A few months after my promotion, I was alone in the palace grounds.
I still remember that a long time ago, even to this day, almost all the free time to look up at the sky. Whenever I look at the vast expanse of the stars, I do not know why, but my heart always dulls my pain...
After an hour of staring at the stars, a voice called my thoughts back to the real world.
"What do you feel like you're missing?"
The great goddess came up behind me, and these were the first words she said when we were alone.
"Dragon Queen!”
When I saw the master spirit of the world standing behind me, I almost went into cardiac arrest, shivered all over, and fell on my knees to salute the goddess as a sign of my loyalty.
"Please do not kneel. In this world, your soul is not inferior to me. In the present time and space, our social statuses may not be the same, but I hope you can hold an open mind and communicate with me.
The great goddess Na-Ja lifted me up from the ground. She lightened my heart like a beacon in the night. She smiled with tenderness and kindness.
"There you are, my Lord... "
"I came for a walk; I can understand your feelings. It seems that the years of work and study made you exhausted. You are not suitable to work here. You need to rest.”
For a moment her words frightened me. I thought I had offended the goddess by my stupefying behavior. I thought she was going to banish me to the moors, but I was wrong.
“No, no! It is my duty.”
I nodded in panic, and I still don't know whether I should nod or shake my head if I'm in that situation again.
Na-Ja wasn't angry. I actually made her laugh. She pulled me aside and sat me down on the porch.
"But I'm used to it, and it doesn't matter if I keep doing it."
"It's not you. You need to be yourself and see the world."
"What?”
I was speechless with shock. The shock was so great that after so many years, I almost forgot that I had been waiting for it.
“Oh, poor girl, you need a break in your life!”
Goddess Na-Ja’s expression became is tough, but her eyes were still gentle like water. I don't know whether it was an illusion or not, but I could feel in my heart there is a layer of ice starting to melt. My vision became colorful, never clear the world came to my life. That night I cried, as a child, after three hundred years, in the goddess' arms cried.
About a decade ago, goddess Na-Ja was a decade persuaded my parents and forced me from working. It was like a holiday which gave me ten years break. Through the arrangement of the Chinese government, they allowed me to live in Beijing, China, to learn how to survive in human society. Also, the goddess Na-Ja knows the power of the human short-lived race.
In the past ten years, I have traveled around most places of interest in China. As time went by, I was eager to learn more about the culture, and it seems that the goddess Na-Ja cared for me again.
"Just in time, I need a student representative of the QiLin race to complete a secret mission for me."
I can still remember her smiling at me tenderly, her golden eyes as deep as the stars and the sea, no majesty and pride in the court, no suffocating charm and dream.
She arranged my American courses, and I completed the courses in primary school and junior high school in advance within three months. I devoted myself to this task, satisfied my great idol and offered my highest loyalty.
It is said that the will of god cannot be understood by ordinary people, let alone the goddess Na-Ja as a symbol of wisdom. She is transformed by the head of the god of creation and has the memory inherited from the god of creation. She can see through the past and gain insight into history.
Even though I do not know the specific reason why the goddess Na-Ja cares for me, I am willing to do everything for this goddess.
