《Exploit》How much is too much agility?

Dreams can be fun, sometimes they are meh, and sometimes, they suck donkey dick. I'm falling, falling but never hitting the ground. An phantasmic haze hangs in front of me. I sense that upon reaching that haze I'll wake up, or something will happen, but it hangs just out of reach. At times I feel as though I'm catching up to it, but at times it feels as far away as before. I eventually and abruptly wake up, but everything feels, not quite real. As though the dream was real and this is the dream. Hard to describe, and I've never been one for wishy washy analysis, but shit was fucked up yo.
Regardless of my lsd-like dream, it's time to wake up and get down to business. Time to spend my sweet, attribute points. Should I spread out my points or use them all on one things again, I ponder. Hmm, agility seemed to save my bacon last night so I might as well try it again. Lets see what happens. I decide to devote all my points to agility and try to make myself, a bit harder to stab next time.

I feel, well, not much different than last time. It's a substantial difference to be sure, but it just feels like I became, slightly better. Oh well, I guess that's the way it goes. Now I need to make a plan. I think what I should do is get a few days worth of food and follow the lake until I reach civilization. The only problem is that I'm not a master fisherman, but every bit of agility helps. I think with my combined agility and my improved spears I might be able to snag something tasty.

Splish, splash, splish, splash, this shit isn't as rewarding as I thought. I've spent 8 hours fishing and I've caught 3 decent sized fish. Bass by the looks of them, but this is a new world, so for all I know they are called anal-fish or something. Either way, I have enough to fill my stomach, but not enough to travel with. The thought occurred to me to take only my tent and my gear, and abandon my campsite. However, starting a new fire each night seems like a chore, and there is still the matter of the invaders. Apparently humans are fair game to them, and I either look tasty or like easy prey. Either way, I need to have some precautions in place to deal with them.
*Shatners voice* Captains log: *Stardate 2017* The little green men are watching me, I feel their eyes upon me as I prepare my walls and dig my latrine. Spock is nowhere to be found, but if he were in my situation he would say something cold and analytical about striking first. I do not have that luxury, the green men have the advantage of knowing where I am, while I know nothing about them. I'll have to keep my eyes out for them. End of captains log.
After setting up my flimsy defenses, repositioning my tent towards the strongest of the walls, running a few feeble tripwires upon the ground, I lay down for bed knowing that if the goblins get me, I'll have at least annoyed them a bit. Time to lay my head down to sleep. Nighty night.

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.
