《The Pokémon Entity Force》Mission Complete

Another deleted scene. I don’t know if I can do fight scenes, so this was going to be kept a mystery. This scene has too many unknowns and it holds many little spoilers. Or maybe questions? Just know that a little grain of salt might help.
Somewhere far to the north of the Balktic Region, a magnificent pearl white building stood proudly in the center of a magnificent metropolis. It was on the uppermost floor, the 20th to be exact, where a man sat in his chair watching a video of a strange young man fight against a Branch Head in Fumere City.
This person wasn’t affiliated with the three Teams, nor was he a part of Team Rocket, Magma, or Aqua. He belonged to the governing power over Balktic Region. This was the group responsible for completely changing the world. Although the other Regions were still trying to use the Pokémon League to maintain order, the Balktic Region was responsible for most, if not all, of the world’s technological infrastructure.
Without them, the world would still be using the old methods to capture Pokémon. The genius who created the company split it into separate Regions, and left to control the Kalos Region. But this man was left in charge of the Balktic Region when the creator left.
The elderly man watched as the boy covered in darkness weaved in and out of reach of the Blastoise before delivering a powerful punch directly to the solar plexus of the Pokémon. The force of the strike wasn’t all that strong, but the Blastoise stumbled, leaving openings for the man as he pummeled it. He used a strange ability to practically glide across the floor, appearing directly in the Blastoise’s blind spot. Then the man struck out as a massive black ring flashed outwards and caused an even bigger explosion. The nearby Team Mystic members all fled to save themselves as the Branch Head recalled his Blastoise and ran as well.
As the building collapsed around him, the man just stood, oblivious to the world around him. He finally came to and started to walk out of the building.
The President of the Balktic Region pressed a button, asking his secretary to bring someone.
That someone walked in with a great scar on his face and badges decorating his chest.
“General, I’m sure you’ve heard?”
“Yes, sir.”
“Then monitor him and prep for extraction. We have another one.”
Now back to your regularly scheduled chapter.

Master and I were already waiting outside when Darryl appeared. But he was alone. How did Cole screw up? Darryl was breathing hard, saying he heard gunshots. Dammit, Cole, what is wrong with you?! That was when several Pokémon ran out of the building. They were Cole’s! But they weren’t released.

If they stay here, that means their owner is still alive. What is he doing?
That was when a scary black ring came out from the building. Followed by a gigantic explosion causing the building to shake.
“Master, what is that?”
“That…that looked like Dark Pulse. But I have never seen one that big.”
“What does this mean?”
“Is it a Legendary?”
“I doubt it. Why would a mere branch have such a thing?”
“Yes, you’re right, Madam.”
While ignoring Darryl and Master, I notice other sounds and sights. I can hear a bird cawing in the distance. But what was more important was the weak little bird Pokémon lying on Cole’s Raticate’s back. The only thing I could tell was it was a bird. Its shape was deformed, blasted apart by an overpowering attack. I got to work healing it and asked Darryl what happened.
“Blastoise…This must have been Blastoise’s doing. The Branch Head! Madam, Cole must be fighting the Branch Head!”
“That idiot!”
But there was nothing more we could do. Nothing we could do but wait. If we tried to interfere, we could get caught and arrested. We tried too hard for this and if we fail even after pretty much succeeding, it would be disastrous. But the least we could do was leave someone behind to make sure he was alright.
Which happened to be me. Master needed to help transport all the Pokémon while Darryl had to decrypt the data and compile it and all that stuff. So here I sit. Waiting for the fight to end. I can see more Mystic members arriving, but they end up running away soon after. Now regardless of whether or not Cole remains alive, I would have to enter the building and find what caused this to happen. Although it was collapsing.
That was when a muscular man stumbled out of the destruction with a Murkrow over his shoulder. He had red hair and a black face mask…Cole? How did he…? All his Pokémon rushed over to see him, even the Spearow we tried to heal. Unfortunately, it would never fly again. It was carried by Raticate to the collapsed young man…
He doesn’t look so bad right now…What am I thinking? Never mind. I just have to find out what happened in there.
“What do you remember?”
“Hey, you spoke more than one word even though it wasn’t about Pokémon. That’s a start.”
He wobbled, but Ekans supported his body as he sat back up.
“I don’t know. I just woke up.”

“Aah! That hit the spot! My compliments! How’s everything taste, guys?”
A round of applause from everyone! Food tastes great all the time! And this time, it had real meat! Delicious!
Even though little Spartis, my Spearow, can’t fly, he makes for a good room companion. He gets to hop around the place at home. But we’re not at home, are we? We went to one of Team Magma’s bases nearby and I got treated to a quality meal. Sylva already said she talked with Petrel and that I would receive my reward once I return. Yes! Pay raise!
The Murkrow ended up joining me, and when I face chatted with Petrel to tell him how it went, he kind of lost himself. I wonder why? He ended up saying something about having to leave for some important reason, and told me the same thing Sylva said.
That I will get my reward after returning. But I am having a great time here! Darryl can’t hold an ounce of liquor hahaha! It seems Esther is juuuuust a little under age. Give her another year. I actually though she was 21 already. You know, because she is a part of Team Magma, a criminal syndicate? But those guys aside, damn! Sylva is like a bottomless pit! She should be swimming by now! How many glasses has she drank?!
Hehehe, maybe get her a little tipsy then I can have myself some fun. Although, Esther keeps looking at me all frustrated. Is it because of my wandering eyes? Well, whenever I look at her, she turns and gets all red. She must be angry. Oh well, having too much fun to care! Ahh, this is where it’s at!
Ow. Where am I?
Oh, Mastid City limits…What happened? I don’t remember…
My phone…why did I send her these things?! Oh, man! She’s going to kill me!
Who? Why the sexy clerk girl! I managed to get her number before I left but I sent so many photos of last night to her! Huh? Who’s this? Is that me?!
I got skinny? Oh, I did. But not as skinny as in these pictures. Maybe it’s because I ate so much last night. Well, it doesn’t seem so bad. She never replied once, though. How saddening.
Well, let’s go to the Headquarters. I need to wash my brand new uniform I got. I can’t believe I barfed all over it. I look and smell gross. Maybe I should stop by home, first. Yeah, in case I see Sandy. You know, the clerk girl.
I switch into some average looking clothes since more people are walking around. I walk around and decide to let Spartis continue riding Raticate around the city. Raticate needs the exercise anyway. I make it to the office building, but notice something is weird. It’s locked. I check my poképal, and notice a strange black Pokéstop. I flipped it, but was brought to a strange website. I got a notification of a new item in my inventory so I switched back to the main screen. There were several items, one of which was a keycard. I used the keycard and entered the building. It locked right behind me, which was weird. But no one was inside! The whole building was dark and empty! I walk around and notice there’s nothing left. Everyone packed up and went away. Could it have been the threat of an enemy Team? No…
They were probably ready to do this ever since they left my information out and about. If I had tattled on them, I would have failed their little charade. But killing the Branch Head was not in the memo. This means they must have had some flak thanks to me. They sent me on a mission and left me here to deal with the trouble.
No, they left me in charge. I checked the website and it had everything I needed to keep this building running. Petrel had paid for the whole building already, I just needed to provide a steady payment of Pokémon and resources or information. There were also achievements, but I don’t think I can get these just yet.
So pretty much Elimination, Capturing, Harvesting, and Scouting. Performing these four things pays for the building and gives me points to purchase things from the cafeteria, bar and even the armory. Now that everything was digitized, it made my job easier. I could simply store and remove items in my inventory to use. I quickly went home and gathered my things. I saw some people chasing me, so I dispatched them to hell. Ruthlessly.
Back at my new digs, I set up places and purchased food for me and for my Pokémon. I guess I need to bring people to my side…Naw.
I would suck at that. I’ll just make myself a paradise. I will get to live the life of luxury!
Or not. Fine, let’s go train. Dammit, I can’t say no to all of you, my awesome Pokémon.
Hey! Murkrow, Golbat! Stop fighting over which shoulder to get! You’re scratching me!

Lone: The Wanderer [Dropped Version (includes original draft of the rewrite's first volume)]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer? [Goal of 2 chapters per week, the only exceptions being announced breaks or emergencies] A/N: This story is in the middle of a rewrite, so please forgive any noticeable plot holes and wonky chapter numbers. I am working on it every day, so understanding would be greatly appreciated. The new cover art is a courtesy of the very kind and talented ssddx. This novel is a participant in The Writer's Pledge

There's a reason people made the word improbable. Just because something would never happen based on common sense or reason, doesn't mean it can't happen. For example, a soul maintaining their memories through the River of the afterlife, a stream of ethereal energies that remove and store memories from the recently departed only to return when they die again. Another example, a soul by it's sheer will maintaining awareness during the process of a new body's development; nearly infintesimile chances of happening, but there is still a chance. Hi, you can call me Esseu (S U) and I managed to do both of those nearly impossible things back to back. My reward for such a feat? I was turned into a glorified bee keeper.
