The sun had risen. Christopher was still tidying his clothes when a person suddenly opened the door.
*Bang! *
" Christopher, haha. Long time no see!"
Marlon came and hug him.
"Ack! Hey, you're squeezing me!! Stop this I can't breathe!"
Christopher double tapped, but there's no referee to stop them. Marlon just laughed and hug him tighter.
"Kuck! F*ck you! Let go, okay!"
"Hahaha, I miss you dude. It's been years since we saw each other. You look mature. "
*Bang! *
Christopher fell when the second son of Marquis Fillan smashed him. He almost die, fortunately that didn't happen.
"Ugh… I feel like I've been hit by a car. Marlon you know that I'm an ordinary person. My body can't keep up! Don't f*cking kill me! "
Christopher stood struggling. He didn't thought that his friend would be stronger than before. Perhaps this would happen if you became a Rara Avis.
Christopher sighed, realizing that his friend would never listen to him. He already said many times that don't smash him, but Marlon never stopped doing the greetings. In fact the power of smashes became stronger.
' Even the Marquis knows how to control his strength. However, this man is different.'
Christopher gritted his teeth. He can't ask this man about manners because he already knew that he didn't have it. He checked his chest, perhaps his heart was already dead...
"Gahahaha. Dude, let's go outside. There's something I want to show you. "
"Don't tell me it's a bar? "
"Haha, no, not know, we will go there after I show you this. "
"As if I can say no. Hayst, Okay, I'll go."
Marlon took him to the sparring ground at the back of their Manor. The Fillan was a four generations of Rara Avis warriors. They used this sparring ground to hone their skills.
Christopher visited this place many times. He fought with Marlon when they're young on this training ground.

While walking, he saw knights practicing their swords. He felt like there were odd gazes coming from them. However, he knew the reason. They were shock when they saw Marlon walking early. In this time, Marlon should be sleeping in some alleyways or bars....
"What are you looking at? Return to your drills, or else I'll give you another 100 laps to run. "
"Yes Sir!"
The knights saluted. They immediately return to practice. This time they were more vigorous.
Christopher followed Marlon. They enter a Blacksmith Shop. This was the place where the blacksmiths of the Fillan work to create weapons.
Marlon kicked the door like a boss, though he's actually the son of the boss so it's counted.
"Old man! Where are you!? "
Marlon's loud voice travel inside the structure. An old man stop his work. He released the clamps and tongs that's holding an unprocessed metal. He stopped his forgery to meet his young master. He readied himself to hear another audacity, Marlon always asked him to create a weapon that can prevent the Curse of Faux Pas.
"Sir Marlon, what are you doing here? You don't want to ask me about that sword again, right? I believe it's still in the experimental phase. "
Old man Jamba gave him glinted look. Marlon spread his arms to smash him but Jamba prepared a burning clamps to escape. Marlon stopped because he would burn.
"Hahaha, yes I'm here for that. Where's the blade?"
The old man sighed, Marlon was like a spoiled child.......
"It's on the back. It's still unfinished and requires some final touch... follow me. I'll show you. "
Christopher is confused about their conversation, but he decided to follow them. He knew what the Curse of Faux Pas is. He greatly knew.
He saw Marlon looking at him with a smug face.
"What are looking? You're not going yo hit me again, are you? "

Christopher step back and protected his back. He's afraid that he would die if he take another hit from Marlon.
"Pfft-haha. No, I'm just excited. I want to see your expression if you see this."
"Marlon you know that my infliction is incurable. I appreciate what you've done. But, I already lost my will to hold a weapon. Besides, I can live even if I have this curse. So you don't have to do this."
Christopher felt thankful. They didn't see each other for four years. He never thought that his friend was doing his best to cure his curse.
"Hey dude. I don't like what you're saying. Say that again after you see this Old man's invention. He's a genius, I tell you."
Marlon striked his back. This time, the hit was not strong. Christopher didn't feel hurt, but he wanted to cry.
"Damn! Why did you that!? F*ck… it hurts…"
He said some excuses because he couldn't control his tears. He's happy that he had a friend like Marlon. Years passed, but his friend never change.
'Christopher you're a cry baby. Why do you always cry? F*ck, this muscle brain Idiot did a good job in stirring my emotions.'
He realized that Marlon was doing his best to find solution about his inability to hold weapon. As a son that came from a bloodline of warriors, Christopher's infliction was a disgrace. The Curse of Faux Pas was the proof that he's a failure. He's happy that Marlon was helping him even though he lost the will to fight the Curse.
"Gahaha! This is not the time to cry. You must see the blade first!"
They reached the room. Inside the room, dozens of weapons were hanging and stocked.
The old man step up and took a dagger inside a casket. The dagger look normal and plain. It didn't had any design or ornaments, just an ordinary blade.
"The Curse of Faux Pas happened when a warrior failed to release his Aura. The Aura will explode inside one's body and he can't touch any things that he treated as weapons. You're the reason why this kid always bothers me. Take it, let's see if you can hold it for at least a minute. "
Jamba gave the dagger to Christopher. He held it and stretch his arms to slice in the air. He didn't feel uncomfortable. The hilt fitted his fingers and he slashed again. A couple of minute passed and nothing happened. He's elated when he realized it. However, he was wrong.
"Looks like it's working… Gah!"
Christopher immediately release the dagger. The arm that held the dagger was convulsing. Christopher lost his strength and fell.
Marlon caught him before falling to the ground.
" Urgh!! Ack!! I see... There's still no cure. "
Christopher was disappointed.
"No young man, you lasted five minutes before releasing it. At least you can say that there's a way. I guess I need another fragment huh."
"You mean, I can hold another weapon again?"
Christopher leaned his body to a wall.
"No, you can't hold any weapons, but this dagger is different. The problem is where I can find the…"
"Tell me, If this can make me hold this dagger again. I will do it. What do you want?"
Christopher was sweating but he looked at him with serious eyes. Old Jamba laugh at him, he shook his head because of Christopher's child-like curious eyes.
"Kuhaha! Young man, don't be hasty. What I need is a fragment of Woman of Abomination's bone. I believe you can't find it."

A-Live AI
The year is 2247. For almost two hundred years Sentient AI research has been banned. Everyone knew this, and yet no one has ever given up on finding the perfect setup for it. Restricted AI are rare, but possible to get ahold of if you have the money and the clout to get through the law for it. Especially when it deals with the military. Alfred Homis is an engineer and has spent the last three years working for the United Terran Military's Research and Exploration Department. Specifically to help build a 'shackled' AI who's prime directive was to explore potentially habitable worlds. Worlds that are far cheaper to colonize and add to the United Terran Directorate's fold than terraforming. During the AI's maiden voyage things go horribly wrong, taking Alfred Homis along for the ride. Thrown into a parallel universe where the laws of physics are just a little messed up, Alfred finds himself trapped inside the very machine he'd helped to build. Add magic, hostile fantasy creatures, and two different pantheons of 'Gods' to the mix and things get even more complicated. Oh, and an invasion between universes to boot. But that's just all in a days work though for Alfred, the AI Lord. Authors Note: Hi guys! Long time no see. And yes, I know that's all on me. But I blame life for that. Anyway, this is my new work, and I hope you guys enjoy it! The chapters are a little shorter than I'd previously posted in my other stories, but I cannot say that I have the same amount of time or energy to write them like that anymore. Sorry about that. Still, some warnings: There is cursing in this story. I am not going to edit it out. There will be sexual content later. Blood, gore and cruel depictions are all planned. If that isn't your thing, I'd suggest you turn back now. There is also my dry, and often not-so-funny sense of humor. And oh, it's all in first person gain. Haha. I just tend to write better that way. If none of that bothers you, then enjoy the read! Feel free to comment, point out mistakes, or make suggestions! Reviews are nice too, but please lay off the criticism until the story gets good and going. Thank you. Note 1: Some edits to the synopsis.
