《My Main Weapon .... Is A CLOAK?!?!》The Ceremony

|With Kate and Claire, supposedly waiting for Yasu to get out of the guildhall, the rest of the guild start their ...ceremony |
The guild went to a ritual site, which looked completely abandoned and hasn’t been used in centuries
The ritual site would’ve looked like a fighting ring if it wasn’t for the large symbol in the middle of it, as well as old fuel lanterns that were on a post on each corner of the site
The guild members then started to surround the ritual site linking arms and the macho man, that was holding me by the legs, tossed me into the middle of the site, before joining the crowd of members as they started to chant, and not before long things started going quiet
The sound of rustling trees stopped, the creaking of the lantern placed in each corner stopped creaking, even though they still moved, and most importantly the guild members were all gone
It felt as if I was placed into a separate layer of reality in which the presence of sound didn’t exist in this layer...nor did people
I wasn’t able to ask them why I was the main theme of the ritual, was it probably due to the fact that I “took” Mira away from the Hero’s Party?
I guess I will find out once I get out or if I ever get out
To find a way out, I first decided to examine the symbol that was in the middle of the ring
The symbol seemed to be engraved into the concrete ground, although the placed looks disclosed, the symbol seemed to be in pristine condition, as if it was maintained daily, unlike the rest of the site, which was deteriorating
A rustle, a slight one was made, which caused me to jump and turn to where the noise came from

Cautious, I reached for my weapon, prepared to draw it and attack what comes out of the bushes, if it proves to be dangerous, but it seemed the rustling stopped, which led me to believe that it was an animal … if it was one anyway
I sighed in relief, laughing at myself for thinking anything would be here
But that ended shortly as the rustling continued
It continued until I saw a little girl pop out of the bush
Struggling, she managed to get out of the bush and patted herself out, before going back in to reach for something
What she reached for was shocking, as she pulled out a scythe larger than her
After she reached for her scythe, she then started to approach me
She started to seem more intimidated with her scythe, however, it had its cuteness to it
She then stopped in front of me, looking up and down to examine me, as if she has never seemed someone like me before
Soon after examining me, she lifted her hands with the scythe in hand and was going to hit me with it, however, she didn’t strike, as the weight of the scythe was heavier than her, causing her to fall backward, hitting the ground
She quietly gets back up from her fall, and looks at her hands, seeing that they were unscathed
Proud of herself, she decided to walk towards me ready to strike, but this time without her scythe, but has she was prepared to strike, she tripped on a small rock, causing her to land towards the ground once again
She quietly got up again, but this time as she was looking at her hands, she noticed she scraped them
Defeated, she started to cry
Her cries made me guilty as if I was at fault
I decided to comfort her and I took a step out of my stasis
“Seems like I couldn’t move due to this girl,” I thought to myself
I was surprised how I could now move, however...
Instead of looking for a way out, I immediately went to try to comfort her

A Goblin's Blade (dropped)
He looked down the path, which was littered with many things. Things he found in abundance were such of violence, desire and gore while things he found in scarcity were such of love, friendship and glory. At the start of the path was a naive, green goblin while at the end of it... Well at the end of it stood him: the godslayer, the monster from the forest, the walking death... He had many names but none so that perfectly captured his image as well as the Mad King. Authors note: Edit: Trying to release a chapter per day, around 2-2.5k words each. An evolution story about a goblin. This is under lit-rpg but I'm focusing more on the plot/characters instead of the usual features of such stories such as the blue tables that take ages to make or the stat screens. In essence it's closer to high fantasy than lit-rpg. Much appreciated if you read the Prologue to see whether you like it or not. Cover image is "Evolution" taken from art done by WhoAmI01
