The area got darker the more time had passed, Antonio took out his phone to activate the flashlight feature so that the three of them could see well. They kept on walking until one of them noticed a cave from a distance.
According to the signpost near the entrance, it said, “The Slumbering Hollows.”
“There, that should be a good place to sleep for the night,” Antonio concluded.
“Are you sure?” Tommy asked, taking a step back.
“Well, what other choice do we have?”
.-.-.-.
Tommy, Antonio, and the black-haired girl took out their sleeping bags from their backpacks and found a place to rest down without hitting any rocks.
“Man, this sucks.” The female uttered while unzipping her red sleeping bag.
“Tell me about it,” Tommy added as he flopped his blue sleeping bag on a flat surface like he made his bed every morning.
“How are Sam and Mandy doing...” Antonio sighed, sitting down on his yellow sleeping bag. He took out his laptop and stared blankly at it for a while. Then, the boy thought up something and snapped his fingers. “Wait a minute, that’s it! I remember something!”
“What is it?” Tommy asked, straightening himself up. “What do you remember?”
“Many years ago, when my uncle and I said our goodbyes, he tinkered around my laptop and installed something in it. It was supposed to make it so you could talk to one another from far away, even without the use of the internet!”
“Whoa, is it possible to try it now?”
“I’m not sure, but I’ll try...”
Antonio turned his laptop on and clicked on an icon on the desktop. He put in a password and Email address and waited a couple of seconds. Eventually, a screen came on where two familiar-looking people paced around a room near a control panel.

“Guys?” He called out to them.
The two scientists stopped what they were doing, looked over at their big screen, and gasped. “No way, Antonio, is that you?” Sam asked, squinting his eyes and adjusting his glasses.
“Yeah, it is! Oh man, I can’t believe it worked!” Antonio exclaimed, pumping his fists in the air. “How are you guys doing?”
“Doing fine so far, but how about you? Are you guys, all right?”
“Yep, we sure are.”
“That’s amazing!” Mandy clasped her hands together in excitement. “So, is there—?” Her words soon faded when she looked over at the monitors and gasped. “M-Maggie? Is that you!?”
“Huh?” Antonio and Tommy looked over at the black-haired female, who bit her thumb and turned away in response.
“And here I thought you guys would forget about me...” The girl, named Maggie, muttered through her teeth.
“What? But how could we forget about you?” Mandy protested.
“Wait, you know her?” Antonio questioned and pointed.
“Of course,” Sam replied. “She used to be an adorable little magpie—”
“Don’t call me that!” Maggie thundered. Her voice echoed through the cave as the group fell silent.
“Maggie Johnson,” Mandy spoke out to her. “Can you tell us how you got there?”
“Well,” Tommy hesitated for a bit, “She did kind of sneak into your lab and—”
“Wait, did she say... Maggie Johnson?” Antonio inquired.
"Yeah, she just said that.”
“Tom, don’t you realize? If my calculations are correct…”
“Wait, what calculations?”
“We must be talking to the daughter of the famous scientist: Marshall U. Johnson!”
Maggie clenched her fist upon hearing that name through her ears again.
“Don’t you mean infamous?” She said through her ground teeth.

“Infamous?” Tommy repeated.
“His projects never worked, they never took seriously him either...”
“Ouch, sorry to hear that...”
“I just wanted one of his projects to work, even if it was just once.” Maggie hung her head low and murmured.
Sam shook his head. “But that’s not an excellent reason to break in and—”
“I don’t need your pity!” Maggie thundered.
“Mag—”
“I’m going to bed!” She exclaimed as she stormed off to get inside her sleeping bag.
Awkward silence embedded the air briefly before Mandy spoke up.
“Um, you guys should go to bed, too,” She mentioned. “We’ll try our best to get you all out of there.”
“All right,” Antonio replied. “Goodnight, you two.”
“Sweet dreams.”

Master of Dungeons
-This is my first attempt at uploading a story I created. It is not a fanfic, but uses several systems from other stories I've read. I hope you enjoy, and feel free to leave comments or criticisms as appropriate. Thank you.-Edwin Cast was your (mostly) regular guy living and working in Kentucky. He had a knack for working, and was always bouncing from job to job as fancy took him. Insatiably curious, he was always on the look out for new or interesting information or things to do. You could say he was a 'hard-work fanatic'.But with an ailing mother and the inability to realize that he was being shunned by those considered his 'betters', he met his mortal end at the hands of those people who he replaced. Beaten to death on the same day his mother died, he's soon pulled from the void into a world beyond his own imagination. Reborn into a fantasy world as the last 'Demon Lord', Edwin is expected to rule over a vast number of races, each of which are considered 'monsters' and demon-kin by the zealous human kingdoms of the world. And if that wasn't enough, the only way to progress and make ends meat is to build and control 'Dungeons' for the righteous humans to invade!Edwin will have to give it his all in a world he never expected even existed, and will have to learn to survive with his wits and growing power in order to establish something resembling peace in the war-torn lands of Eternia.-NOTE: I'm still in the process of working on the storyline, characters, and abilities that will be presented. A large number of themes are planned, and mature/adult content is planned. The story may also be a bit slow in some cases, so please bare with me. Thanks again!-NOTE: People have been mentioning the rough grammar and spelling errors that come with my posts; and while I've said so in the forum comments, I'm going to post it here as well. This is all basically a rough draft. I post the chapters as I write them, with only a spell-check for accuracy. None of the chapters are proofread. Once people point out blatant errors, I try to correct them; but otherwise I'm more interested in writing. If anyone wishes to proofread my work, shoot me a PM on the forums! Thanks again.
