Festival’s Approach
While I was performing my morning studies, one of the butlers approached me. “Your Highness, the Mid-Spring Festival will soon be upon us.”
“I am aware.” There wasn’t anyone in the estate who wouldn’t be aware with only two weeks left until the event. A time when most of the staff would have the full day off and the estate would be almost empty. While much of the regular businesses will be shut down, there will be multiple festivities happening across the capital. Whether I stay on the estate or attend the festival, the day would prove fruitful to recreation. “What reason do you have to remind me?”
“There is space in the schedule for a speech. Your Father wishes to know if you’d be interested in reciting one.”
“Oh.” Of course he’d asked. Mother performed a speech at all these sorts of events and this was the first one since her death. It wouldn’t be a bad stage for me to introduce myself to our subjects, but I still wasn’t sure if I wanted to go to the festival or not. “If it’s okay with my father, I’d like a bit more time to decide.”
“There is no issue, Your Highness. Your father only wishes for the thought to be on your mind.”
Queen Cecilia
Though I’m sure it’s all been romanticized, I’d still like to know the story of that smiling queen.
Triton, the Unifier
Queen Cecilia was the fifth daughter of Oremaris’s most prominent king, Triton, the Unifier. When his reign first started, the Broken Isles were still separate sovereign states. It was thanks to his negotiations and the virtues of his seven daughters that Triton was able to bring them together. His first daughter stayed by his side as his heir while the younger six formed crucial marriage alliances for him. All of his daughters were outstanding ladies in their own right and are spoken fondly of to this day by the residents of the islands they settled on. The one daughter sent abroad was Cecilia.

Siren of the Valley
Of the seven sisters, Cecilia was the best singer and musician. By the end of her first year in Vallis, she was so beloved by the people that she was dubbed the Siren of the Valley. As the people gave her love, so did she return it. More festivals were held in her time than any other time in Vallisian history.
It is said that the royal family’s musical talent originates from her and that her songs had magical power. Her cheerful rhythms had melodic charms to them that demanded joy and dance. As for her somber ballads, they could calm the hearts of an army.
An Eternal Bond
Despite her love for Vallis, her original home was often on her mind. She had a very close relationship with her eldest sister, Marisa, and though they were aware of their coming separation long in advance, it still took its toll on the both of them. The legends say that she’d often visit the beach and whisper into a seashell. Supposedly, it would carry her message across the seas to her sister.
When Triton called upon Vallis to help bring an end to his unification war, Cecilia temporarily returned to Oremaris. During her time there, two identical paintings were made of Cecilia and Maria sitting on the beach together. Sitting in between them are the pair of sea shells they had used to message one another.
In Consequence
Diane has become interested in writing a proof of wisdom on Oremaris.
Notice of Availability
Diane must write a proof of wisdom on the Unified Pact before she can write one on a foreign nation.

Welcome to the Upward Bound System!
Techniclly abandoned. I will be reposting an updated version of the story one chapter at a time. This story will remain up till such time as I feel like taking it down. At least until the revised version is caught up. Please check out the updated version of the story when it is released. One day Dante was home from college watching the inaugeration with his parents. Little did they know that this would be the day everything changed. Ask yourself what would the world look like if suddenly everyone got something akin to the power of the gamer? Not his mind or body, just a similar system. Dante is not your typical MC. While he has a troubled past, he looks forward to the future. Follow Dante and his family as they traverse this new system world. However, before they can explore this new world they must complete, the Tutorial. A much slower style of LitRpg than what I normally do. Follow Dante as he and his parents find their world taken over by the system. Welcome people of Earth to the Upward Bound System! With the system's arrival so too does great danger come. The tools of your survival shall be granted upon you by the system. Please note, I don't own the art. Also note, the word count in the early chapters is substantially less than the word count in later chapter's. I am constantly editing the chapters to improve them. Therefore what was there yesterday may not be there tomorrow. You have been informed. Please enjoy the story, and if you don't please leave a comment and I will try to improve the story for you. "I appoint you to kill the most powerful being which i had granted the power to kill me." "I wonder, do I perhaps have the right to decline this journey?” “Unless you want your very existence to be eliminated, then be my guest.” Denis had just recently graduated from college with a degree in photography and is now working in an industry with a job that he didn't expect to be in. An unneeded job were only 4 people are currently assigned in. In his job, he met a co worker whom he'd initially thought as an escaped mental patient but soon after, he'd thought wrong. As his co worker is the supreme being, God himself. God explained that he assigned Denis as one of his "source of entertainment" and appointed him to kill the most powerful being in hell which God had given it the power to kill him. Having to be summoned in an unknown place were heat is unforgiving, were the ocean of flame resides in, where the most powerful being lives in, and with only the power that God had given him which is called "Precognition", he could only hope that he wouldn't get killed in the first week Edit: Regarding the new chapter releases, starting from now on (6/11/17), I'll try to release a new chapter every 2-3 days since my schedule had lighten up a bit these past few weeks and these chapters would still be as long as I've done it until now and as such, I hope that you dear readers would enjoy reading it.
8 229Earth Exodus
Elliot isn't the first one taken, he was the last, or one of them at least. Careless divines, gods, or higher powers had been snatching humans through numerous means over the years. Those that returned brought minor tokens of their previous power if anything at all. Over time unrestrained magic became commonplace on earth. Which must have brought attention to us. The earth is ravaged by increasing levels of rogue magics, divines, and a war over resources and experience. Eventually resulting in a mass exodus of the remaining powerless humans by a coalition of gods. Now translocated to Vauthia where everyone has been given a path to power. They're met with an unfortunate reality. They've only been rescued from one dying world to be tasked with saving the new one. While at the same time they're apparently supposed to compete with one another. Meanwhile Elliot wasn't just given a path to power. He was given a choice. The opportunity for true power is offered. When as he reaches for it the power isn't all it's cracked up to be.Systemless in a world where everyone else has access to one Elliot must grapple with a multitude of problems from without and within. The 'gods' might actually be incompetent, uncaring, downright malicious, or all three. His power is constantly three steps behind those who chose the quick path to power. There's also the antisocial tendencies he's brought with him from earth. Can he trust the 'god' who seems to be taking him under their wing? Will he be able to catch up to his fellow earthlings who're ever increasing in power? Is it possible he may just break out of his shell along the way?*** What to expect ***The initial start will be quite slow, building the setting, history, and individuals involved. There is a small bit of progression in these early chapters for the MC, but more along the lines of figuring out how their systemless power works. though once the story gains traction it won't stop.*** Don't tell Elliot, but ***Elliot hates to admit it but he's very clearly antisocial. Not to mention troubles with thinking that stem from several un-diagnosed disorders he'd rather believe don't exist.*** Image Copyright *** //In this satellite image released by Copernicus Sentinel imagery, 2020 twitter page dated Dec. 31, 2019, shows wildfires burning across Australia. 8 231The Epiphany Colony
Brad Asher has been a private detective on the Epiphany Colony orbiting Mars for about a year before stumbling into a conspiracy that threatens the safety and stability of the colony. Note that the story here is the first draft and has a lot of ideas, characters, and plotlines that I ended up dropping in the final version that I released here currently available on Kindle Unlimited. The entire second half was restructured, as I ended up not being satisfied with some of the things that I introduced and felt like it had strayed too far from my initial vision of a space-based detective noir story.
