A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…. a bored god was playing “Truck-kun Simulator” and just ran over his 1500th winner or, eh victim.
“Oh we have a winner; I have a new chosen one,” said by that same god.
-12 hours earlier-
(zzzzzzzzzzz…...ZZZZZ...) “2555…” (ZZZZ) “2555 anyone coming…” (ZZZZ…*Pop*)
“Huh, oh sorry”, as the unsuspecting man with a spit soak tee-shirt walks up to the counter, passing his ticket to the secretary. “Sir... oh never mine, head in to the first door on your right”
{Audition for lead role of Live Action Mega Man X}
Walking in the large room, looking towards the back of it there is a large table with three people sitting in front. From right to left, the casting director, film director and choreographer. Each looks fairly tired since it’s about 4:30 pm.
“So who are you playing …guy”, said the casting director, bob. “I’m playing Dr. light’s hologram, “said by Thomas, our hero, “So can I start…”
After a couple minutes of laughs and jeers by the panel of people, Thomas realizes that he has a giant wet spot on his shirt, that damn secretary, why she didn’t say anything.
“hahhahhaahhhaa…*cough* hmm… you can go. We got all of the leads for today, next time bring a change of clothes…”, various laughs, giggles and even what sounded like a shutter of a camera.
-6 hour till… you know-
At a bar in downtown Hollywood, our fateful hero, Thomas is taking shots of vodka as a result leading to lost of his shirt at one point during his binge drinking episode.
In the background, on the TV there is a news report about a major flaw in the new tractor trailers by general motors self-driving model leading to several incidents.

“Screw those guys *hick* and that old secretary *hick*. One more round for my guys here,” said drunkenly by Thomas towards his new found drinking buddies.
“Whoa guy I think you need to stop, hey you guys get your friend and calm him down.” As the middle-aged bartender said to the crowd of men around Thomas. Those men said with drunken, slurred," We don’t know that guy we were just happy getting free drinks."
“Where are my keys...,” looking around the bar, "Hey guys you seen my keys?" With his hazed vision he finally notice that they're in one of the shot glasses that was filled with vodka, “Oh that’s where they are *Hick* Just one more shot then it's time to hit the road. ”
As Thomas tried to get up only to stumble on the ground, using the stool as leverage. He process to slowly get his balance to walk out of the bar. One of the heavy set bouncers stopped him, “Hey you can’t drive while your under the influence.” Thomas started to put up a fight but being intoxicated he gave up quite easily. Now fighting the door to exit the bar as the bouncer said," Push not pull," as he push the door for Thomas.
*Bzzt Bzzt* his phone vibrates *Bzzt Bzzt*
Thomas puts his hands in this pants as result he stumbled into the street just outside of the bar, landing in the vacant street. Looking at his phone’s notification which shows "Warning Warning Keep a look out for a Red and blue GE Tractor Trailer. Please Call 1-800-555-5555 if you see a blue semi truck. Please stay on the sidewalk."
Just at that moment a bright light shining cast a shadow in front of him. “Huh, what is that...” a moment too late he turns his only to see the threads of the wheels of a rampaging vehicle. Almost feeling no pain as he fade into darkness. Floating down a white hallway, just to see a giant oak door with indistinguishable words on it. Thomas knocks on the door.
“Is this…heaven….”

The Sea of Destiny
[Let me be straight with you. This is trash, like old dime store novel trash. Don't expect grandiose writing, anything profound, or much beyond being free of spelling errors. Like my profile says, it’s hopefully like a salty snack, decent and satisfying for people looking for this kind of thing (at least that's my hope). It is simple, weird, and most likely growing in ridiculousness as it rapidly escalates.] Michael just wants to get away after a rough breakup. He figures some time alone cruising on a sick jet ski will help clear his head. After a small series of mishaps he winds up as humanities last hope adrift at sea after nuclear devastation destroys the mainland. Will he be able to solve the mystery of the bowl of the ancients before nuclear winter freezes over his dwindling food supply? Who are these mysterious women he keeps meeting, and will he even care about the talents they bring to the table, or will he be too focused on how they keep ruining his carefully laid plans for survival at sea? Read this cheesy short story to see for yourself, and discover the true mystery behind the hand of fate.
8 106What Was Lost Outside Time
What happens to a mind, subjected to an infinite span of time? What remains, when it is taken out again? This is the story of an individual reborn after such time has passed that nothing remains of what it was; an individual who must learn once again what it is to be, beginning with awareness of the idea of awareness, and growing from there; from awareness of self, to awareness of others, to awareness of society, and on. This is the story of a mind; growing, learning, adapting, and becoming more. -- Currently the first three chapters are - well, kind of experimental. I both like and hate these; they were a pain to write, and I'm told by at least one person that they're painful to get through, but I think something like them is necessary to set one of the basic ideas about the way the story is written. It gets slightly more normal after that, the first arc of the story is rather "battle school", and I think I may need to go back and edit it - the characterization didn't end up working out as well as I had originally hoped, unfortunately, and ended up rather weak to my eye. I may go back and add a sub-plot or two, depending on how well I can handle the intended perspective shift of the second arc. -- Currently on hiatus, in case that wasn't obvious. I'm debating between rewriting large portions of what I've already written, and just finishing out the story, but either way, I don't actually have a clear idea of what I want to do right now. If I'm still feeling the same way in a few months I'll put a chapter up explaining where the story was going, maybe, so the people who have enjoyed it can know where the story was intended to go, and close this out.
8 204Charlotte Powers: Diary of a Would-Be Superhero
The journal of a girl who thinks she knows. (Spoiler: She does not know.) "...an odd combination of stream-of-conscious anxieties and high-flying save-the-world goals written by an overzealous, naïve teenaged girl in her wristwatch computer diary."-readers are better at describing stories than the writers who wrote them "When it's over you look up: the world looks the same, but you are somehow different and that feeling lingers for days."-bit OTT but I'll take it "...everything cannot just be good and then be even more good, in this story, right?"-100% accurate assessment "...the plot was bland and the character uninteresting. It was just a very dull read. I cannot recommend this book to anyone."-oh well can't win them all Discord for discussion. Complain about Charlotte's nonsense! Ship the characters! Do a thing! Now entering the second arc, Power Play. Things are getting serious. We're heading towards something important. Charlotte is still largely clueless. But she is trying so hard.
