《Fate Of The Swordsmen》Chapter 18: Annoyed

Anarion woke up early in the morning despite his late-night training. He put his Ghee top and sandals on, then exited his room. He peeked into Tycondris’s room, he was still sleeping. He closed the door quietly and began walking up the hallway. Amma opened her door and stepped out.
“Good morning Anarion.” He greeted her with a quick “Morning” as he passed by. Stepping out on to the deck, Anarion saw how gloomy it looked outside. Bwoire was already awake, he looked drunk. “Good Morning you two,” said Bwoire with a mischievous look on his face. Anarion went around to the back, ignoring Bwoire entirely.
Bwoire followed him. "Do you really have to pester me first thing in the morning?" asked Anarion as he slowly crept towards him. Bwoire laughed playfully "Aww cmon Anarion. We're all comrades here. We'll all be training together once we reach our final destination. Might be a good idea to adapt to being around everyone."
Anarion sighed. “It’s too early in the morning for your bullshit and games.” Bwoire stumbled in front of Anarion. “Life is too boring otherwise. I promise I don’t have an agenda.” Anarion unsheathed his Katana. “I don’t need comrades. Go play your little games with the other three.” Bwoire laughed out loud. It was clear he was still intoxicated. “Well you may not need comrades, but you are stuck with them. Might as well make the best of it and learn to get along.”
Anarion swung his Katana down towards Bwoire’s head, he stopped a hair away. “Get out of the way, next time I won’t stop.” Bwoire laughed again. “Scary, you are so scary. You’ll win more friends with honey instead of vinegar.” Anarion was at the peak of annoyance. “Fuck off you pointy-eared bastard! Let me train already!”

“So rude Anarion. You should be nicer to your master.” Anarion was getting more worked up. “Are you a fucking child or something? Fuck off and die!” He swung his sword clean down, Bwoire dodged it easily. “So high strung. You should really let loose every now and then Anarion.” Ithilious walked around the corner. “Would you two shut up already! You woke up the entire ship!”
“Not my problem,” said Anarion clutching his katana as hard as possible. “I’m just trying to get the guy to lighten up a little,” said Bwoire with a playful smile. Ithilious sighed “How are you still intoxicated?” Bwoire laughed “Wood Gir don’t process alcohol as fast as you Human’s” Ithilious sighed. “Just leave the guy alone.” Bwoire continued laughing. Ithilious eventually just dragged him away.
Just as soon as Bwoire left Tycondris came around the corner nursing his head. He was about to say something, but instead, he kneeled over the rails and vomited into the Ocean. The noise caused Anarion's stomach to turn for a moment. He persevered for half an hour while Tycondris wretched over the side of the boat.
Amma came around the corner with a giant beer stein filled with water. Tycondris slowly sat down. “Drink it slowly. If you have any more of that whiskey left I would suggest having a swig. It should help you feel better.” Tycondris took the stein. “Thanks, kid.” Amma quickly returned to the other side of the ship. “If I had a daughter, Amma is the person I would picture.” Anarion was deep into his strike training. “In a perfect world, I would get some peace and quiet.”
Tycondris laughed. “It’s easier to be alone. You should at least give her the time of day.” Anarion was visibly angry. “I’m in a bad mood Tycondris. If you continue to push my buttons I won’t be responsible for my actions.” Tycondris had a sinister smile on his face. “I would be shaking in my boots if I didn’t know you so well kid. Everyone needs a shove in the right direction every once in a while.”

Anarion yelled “My life is no one’s concern. Would you drop it already?” Tycondris laughed again. “Sure kid. Just remember I’ve got your back no matter what.” Anarion sighed. “Thanks, if that’s the case drop it altogether, leave me alone and let me train.” Tycondris smiled. “I’m starting to realize just how shy you really are.” Anarion clenched his Katana again in anger. “Shut up already!” he yelled.
Falcon walked around the corner. “You two are so noisy. Keep it down I’m trying to concentrate.” Anarion was smashing his head with the butt of his Katana. Tycondris laughed “Sorry kid! We’ll try to be more considerate everyone else on here.”
The two weeks that followed were the slowest in Anarion’s life. Nothing but a series of people interrupting his training. After the first week, he started training at night and sleeping during the day just so he could get a little peace and quiet.
