Chapter 4 : The town of beginings ( part 3 )

Okay guys, here's the plan. Listen carefully, Barm you go ahead and cut off their means of escape, while the three of us will take them out from the back. Timing is essential!

Aria: " Listen Barm! This is your chance! This is your shining Moment! After we're done with these guys, our names will spread like wild fire across the entire continent! They will make stories of how we single handedly defeated a group bandits, armed with nothing but our determination! Now go! Run Towards the Forest!!!

Barm: " Haaa!!! Argh!!! Ruaaa!!! ( Barm runs off with steam coming out of his mouth. )

Athen: " Really now..... how do you expect us to beat all 6 of them? huh? Master???

Centor: " Yeah.... I'm kinda not liking the whole idea here...

Aria: " fufufu, Dont worry my dear minions, i'm sure your well aware of the level gap, but! We have with us the element of surprise.

Centor: " Uhuh... so what exactly do you want me to do, other than run to my certain death?

Aria: " dont worry too much, the reason why I asked you how fast you can run is this......

Bandit Leader: " Okay boys load em up we're leavin this joint! Take the girl and loot, Tie up that old man...

Young girl: " Father!!! No!!!!

Merchant: " Please! Dont take her! I beg you!!!

Bandit Member: " Shut the hell up will you! All this screaming is making my head spin.

Bandit Leader: " Just be thankful you get to walk away with your life, but since we'll be leaving you here tied up maybe the monsters will get to you, so good luck with that. ahahahah ( hits him unconscious. )

Bandit members: " ahaha ahahah!

Bandit Leader: " Right..... Lets get mov..... ( noticing a sudden movement on a nearby tree. )

Bandit Leader: " Che! you! go ahead and look whats hiding there.

Bandit member: " sure thing boss! Waa!!! what in the name of...!!!!! Waaaaa!!!!

Monster: " Grruuu.... Grughh... ghuk... grrr! ( slowly coming out from the woods. )

A large birdlike monster, moving on all fours, size roughly around 15 feet high! with red fiery feathers and sharp golden eyes! Staring at them with such intensity that the bandits weren't able to move when it came out.

Barm: " Khraaghh!!!!!

Bandit Leader: " Waaa!!! what in the!? Quickly surround it and...... grhshhh blaghh!!! ( even before he was able to finish )

A black phantom like monster with unbelievable speed, had already sliced off the head of the Bandit Leader from behind.

The other bandit's were not quick enough to notice until it was too late.

It happened so fast.

from behind them, like a swift breeze coming from the north end of the mountain, Fierce! Precise! and Deadly! like a shadow, it cleaved off the poor man's head like a hot knife cutting through butter.

Bandit member: " Boss???

Bandit Member: " Aaahh!!!

Bandit member: " Hih!!!

Right before the battle.

Centor: " here goes nothing....... I really hope I get to live after this.....

Taking a few steps back, then doing three back flips, and after landing on his third jump, he lowers his body close to the ground and using his feet and the Inertia coming from above, he pushes himself forward.

Launching like an arrow, he ran towards his target!

[ notice ] Barm has engaged Bandit's x6

[ notice ] Centor has entered the battle!

[ notice ] Centor used hide presence

In just under 2 seconds, Centor was already behind the Bandit Leader! Getting ready to attack!

"

[ notice ] Centor used on Bandit Leader!

[ Assasinate ] deals a large amount of physical damage! has a high chance to cause a fatal wound that would immediately kill an enemy. ( ineffective against large or fortress type kind of monsters/targets )

Landing on the ground, and the blood from his feet leaving a straight line coming from the lifeless body of his enemy.

-500! fatal damage! ( attacking from the back and targeting a weakpoint! ) [ target has been Assasinated! ]

[ Bandit Leader ] has been killed!

Centor: " ( hmm... that was rather anti-climactic, I expected him to atleast dodge my attack. ) all of you! if you wish to live, move away from that man and his daughter, and dont go thinking about any bright ideas of using them as hostages because if you do...... well I'll just leave that to your imagination, if your willing to take the risk.

"

hearing the words from the monster that insta-killed their boss, they shivered and did exactly as they were told.

after the remaining bandits moved away from the two, and judged that the distance between them was enough.

Aria: "now is our chance!

"

[ Aria ] has entered the battle!

[ Athen ] has entered the battle!

Athen used blessing on Aria

"

Aria: " Eat this!!!

[ ~writting~ ]

The wrath of the Heaven's that lay waste upon all that its hand touches, show them your rage! Burn their skin! Let them Feel Fear!

[ Lightning Bolt! ]

After the attack done by yours truly, I was surprised that they were still alive, as to how that happened, I'm not really sure, probably because my skill was low or perhaps the 5 bandits had a higher natural resistance to the elements, but since I had no answers and seeing that we still had not recieved the rewards and exp. I figured it was time to test out my skill.

I used my lightning bolt! on the poor souls over and over again. Since my attack had a Shock! effect similar to a taser, They weren't given any chance to resist.

One by one they died.

I found that the damage from my lightning bolt! goes down depending on the number of times it jumps to the next target.

I also realized that attacking only one target yields a larger amount of attack!

When the last Bandit had finally met his maker, I heard the notification signaling the end of the battle.

[ Congratulations ] you are victorious!

I was now level 4, Barm, Athen, and Centor was all level 3 thanks to their wonderful effort.

After the battle, I told Centor to gather all the bandits equipment that can still be used. Athen helped him out while I tied the merchant's cart onto Barm as the horse pulling the carriage ran off after hearing Barm's Roar earlier.

Then something strange happened...

Aria: " Hey, whats your name?

Young Girl: " Elena.....

Aria: " Elena huh? Thats a cute name.... how old are you?

Elena: " I'm,.... i'm 14 years old.

Aria: " I see... okay from now on your new name is Kim ( smiles from ear to ear )

Elena: " huh!?

Aria: " come now, we'd best hurry before it gets dark out.

Elena: " Wait..... what do you mean??? I'm not Kim.... my name is Elena, and my father.... what about my father?..

Aria: " Listen to me Kim.... ( smiles while holding Kim's??? hair and lifting her up. ) you care about your father dont you? If your old enough to understand then do exactly as I say.... okay? or perhaps you would like your father to end up the same way as those bandits?

"

Thinking that they were saved, Elena felt joy in her heart, but soon enough it was replaced by intense fear and disbelief...

watching the unconscious body of her father as the cart started moving, and getting further away, she only hopes that nothing bad would happen to him.

Why???

What is happening???

I thought they were going to save us???

Tears fell as the figure of her beloved father finally vanishes from her sight.

only the creaking of the carriage can be heard, and as the sun goes down and the light starts to dissipate.

the carriage moved forward...

All three Gallus's were silent, they dont know why their master did such a thing, they only knew that they had to obey. Because if not for her, they would not be here right now, They would still be mindless birds getting killed off by their enemies.

and as the night gets darker, Aria can be seen playing Sims on her terminal
