《AnotherWorld (hiatus)》AnotherWorld : Chapter 6

When we woke up we found that our buddy Germo had evolved into a Lizard Slime or should I say Slime lizard, the one thing that did not separate this form from his prior one is the fact that he still retained his overpowering mustache shining with even more gust than before.4
We all stood around Germo inspecting him, he had both the aspect of a slime and a lizardman, he had scales covering several sides of his body which he could harden or soften at his whim, he had ocean blue colored eyes having molded out of pure something resembling Safire, he looked all in all odd to say the least but Germo is still Germo so we dint pay it anymore heed than we should have.
After the whole charade ended we marched towards the entrance way cautiously eventually reaching where we entered, we expected to see the group of no good bunch, but they left as we heard later on from some people we encountered, they explained that Varus and his gang had completed their first trial, since not everyone gained the same trial as one another.
I looked at Dave asking him what to do next since he is the party leader, Dave decided to enter deeper into the cave, since were only half way into the cave being half way to Maroth dungeon boss room.
And so we marched deeper and deeper into the dungeon having only taken our lack of manners and confidence with us, while on our travels we encountered other participant who had entered before me, they looked broken and like shells of their former selves, they stopped because of old age, fear or just plain insanity having been locked up in here because they failed the trial the gods set up for them or simply gave up on the trials hanging around here and there, every time tried to build something it got destroyed when the new participants arrived and every five years there would be a mass wipe out returning every participant who has remained for five years to their last point, which would result in death most of the time and in some rare cases it dint, but no one knows everything about each other past.

Having heard to this point the team mood was okay to say the best, they listened some more and found out that to enter Maroth boss room a minimum level of twenty was needed and a maximum level of thirty five was allowed, they also found out that those with higher levels suffered from a penalty the higher their levels were.
Avion then asked out why not just use numbers to overwhelm Maroth, the elder participants snickered at him for having such obvious thoughts to them, they replied that the maximum amount of people allowed into the room was a team of six, they also needed to be party members, this was to weed out those relying on numbers to overwhelm others, overwhelming others with numbers is fine, but this would not work if the quality of the opponent is high, in the world of magic others will often times encounter a situation where only those of the same league were allowed to enter the battle field.
The group gathered together in a circle to discuss this matter in detail, the first one to suggest something was Kajiel, Kajiel suggested they enter the dungeon at level twenty five giving them no apparent advantage or disadvantage over Maroth, this would allow them to exploit and express their raw talent to survive, Dave said that the higher the number, the more damage they deal so damage is good, Germo suggested assassination which was quickly rejected because there was no way to assassinate someone within a small environment, eventually the gang looked at me for guidance since I had the sage class they thought I might be wise, I suggested we take on Kajiel since it suited much more to our team, we could try to incorporate some aspect of Germo quick strike tactics and have Dave level up slightly more for that extra push of umpf needed for our team, me, I would keep tabs on everyone while also aiding them with learning new skills, while also learning new skills myself, I decided to focus on healing since needed it in the upcoming battle.

The Calculator - Supervillainess Time Loop
What makes a terrifying villain? Is it ruthlessness? Is it how powerful they are and how many buildings they can down in one blow? Is it how hard they are to kill, contain, or get rid of in any manner? Is it their knowledge of a hero’s true identity in a world where secrets must be kept? Or is it perhaps how they seem to be perfect in all their actions, defeating the hero at every step of the way throughout to the last one, only to humiliate them one last time before declaring themselves the winner in the grand scheme of things? Isabella Blair is perfect. She knows all your moves before you even make them. All your ambushes are faced with traps and she dodges all your blows like it’s child’s play. Catching her is impossible because she’s always ten steps ahead of you. She says she calculated everything, but she messes up in every fight. She loses far more than she wins, sometimes a hundred times for just one small victory. Yet, she is perfect. How is that possible, you may ask. That’s because she has the uncanny ability to return to the past whenever she makes a mistake. All that’s left in the end can only be what’s perfect if all the realities in which you’ve lost are gone, after all. And that makes for one hell of a terrifying profile.
