So, here is what happened for those who are interested. I had some stuff happening at home and had to take a break from writing this story.

Then, when I started writing again, I realized that I had many ideas for the story, but I also realized that I had put far to little thought into any of them. For example, the whole system. Several parts werent worked out enough and ended up interfering with each other or simply not making sense. The same went for the idea with the "honorable deeds". While it sounded original and good on paper, it was a tad bit too "powerfull". The idea was that it would reward kindness and punish evil, but when I put it into the story, I didn't think about it enough that it pretty much made all human vs human conflict impossible until several years into the story. If you need to be strong to survive, but get weaker when you do "evil" stuff, establishing conflict gets exceptionaly hard.

I tried my best to get the story back on track, but in the end I hadn't planned far enough ahead to get the story actually where I wanted it to be. So, I decided to recycle this story and took many of my ideas and made something new out of it. And this time I thought far enough ahead that this won't happen again.
