As Hiro was helping Maria carry Baldar over to the infirmary via stretcher, Baldar leaned over and asked, “Hey Hiro”
“Yeah?"
“Was that your full strength?”
“When I beat you up?”
Baldar shook his head, “When you hit that scarecrow.”
Hiro thought about it, and the replied, “In a sense, no, but it wouldn’t really do for me to hit it any harder.”
“Well for one…”, Hiro glanced over his shoulder at Baldar, “I don’t have a body as freakishly durable as yours.”
“What do you mean, I slammed you into the ground head first and you shrugged it off like it was nothing!? ”
“I mitigated the damage by dispersing the force with mana through the ground if you’d used a hammer or something it probably would have caused more damage. Probably at least.”
Maria asked, “You dispersed the force with mana?”
Hiro nodded as he turned background, “It’s called a wave technique, ask me later and I might teach it to you. Anyway, this is it right?”
Hiro looked up at the large two-story building located in the southern part of the campus, as he looked around he noticed several other students heading in their general direction.
Suddenly, Hiro heard a girl call out from in front of him, “Huh? Hiro?”
Hiro turned back around, and noticed Collette was in a white robe in the infirmary holding a clipboard, “Collette?”
Collette hurriedly walked up to Hiro and asked, “Why are you here Hiro? Don’t tell me you’re hurt? Are you sick? Did you get cut?”
“Um...behind me.”
“Hmm?” Collette looked behind Hiro and suddenly realized he was holding a stretcher and began apologizing, “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry when I just get so worried sometimes when people come to places like this who I know that I start panicking and I just.”

“It’s alright Collette, uh, can we go in?”
“Ah yes! Yes, right away. Please come in.”
Hiro followed Collette in and she introduced Hiro to her instructor. Since Collette wanted to be a healer and she was already capable of some healing magic she was assigned to the infirmary to practice and gain experience as she improves.
Collette’s instructor’s eyes widened as she noticed who was on the stretcher. She walked up to Baldar and touched his arm causing a faint golden light to pulse through his body. Her eyes widened even further in disbelief as she remarked, “Amazing, just how did you break so many bones already.”
Hiro and Baldar laughed wearily, “My bad.”
Anyway set him on this bed. Collette's instructor directed Hiro to a nearby room where several other students were resting. Hiro carefully put the stretcher down and picked up Baldar placing him softly on the clean white bed.
The Collette’s instructor looked worriedly at Hiro, “And are you alright? You’re clearly in better shape, but you were up against the prince. It’s best to deal with any injuries even if you think they’re minor.”
Hiro shook his head, “Don’t worry I’m fine.”
Collette said worriedly, “Are you sure?”
Baldar grew slightly red and said in embarrassment, “Yeah, he’s fine...it was rather one-sided honestly.”
“Incredible, but…”, the instructor turned towards Hiro, “Try not to do this again, especially with normal people.”
Hiro scratched the back of his head, “Well normal people usually go down before I have to do this. Anyway, I’m gonna head out, get better soon.”
“Ah wait!” Baldar grabbed Hiro’s arm, “Hiro I wanna ask you something.”
Hiro turned around, “Yes?”
“Be mine.”
“...”
Maria and Collette covered their mouths and quickly backed up while several of the other students lying down shot up. Collette’s instructor almost broke out laughing as well as she stared at Baldur and Hiro, and the looked down at Collette and Maria.

One of them was a girl with black hair whose arms were covered in bandages, she just stared at Baldar dumbfounded. She didn’t seem to quite understand what was going on, but she was certain she heard what Baldar just said. While the other student was a young boy with light brown hair who burst out laughing when he turned over to look at what was happening.
Collette noticed the young boy and shouted, “Francis! Don’t be rude.”
Hiro thought about it and politely bowed his head, “I refuse.”
Baldar closed let Hiro’s arm go, and laid back down laughing, “Well it was worth a shot. Though I’m curious, why not?”
“Brother!”, Maria’s face grew red and she looked back and forth from her brother and Hiro, “He must have his reasons…”
Hiro shook his head, “No, it’s fine. It’s just that, I’ve already dedicated my life towards someone so I can’t let anyone tie me down.”
Maria paused, before saying, “I see.”
“Anyway, take care of yourselves, Maria, Collette.”
Francis over in the other bed yelled, “I’m here too!”
“You too Francis! Get better. ”
With those words, Hiro left the infirmary, and the finally Collette’s instructor broke out laughing. Collette turned towards her instructor and reprimanded her, “Instructor!”
“Ah, forgive me, forgive me. It was just too funny. Anyway...”
She quickly pulled out a ring and placed it on her finger and began casting a healing spell on Baldar before leaving, “You should get some rest.”
Baldar nodded his head and closed his eyes, and the other students began to lie back down as well. Well except for one, the black haired female student who stared at Hiro and Baldar still remained upright as she mumbled to herself, “This isn’t right…”

To be blunt, the MC is not a good person, so unless you're interested in such a thing, I'd strongly advise you to not read Currant Choir.
