Hello guys.. I am back... My exams ended and waiting for the result, so as promise here's the chapter.

It's a sifi story with a dark undertone

A group of travellers were moving on an empty road, An old man was leading the group and guards watching out for attacks.

There was no giggle of children coming, but everyone in the group was tense.

The city can be seen in the distance, and other people on the road started to show up.

A particular carriage was guarded by a group of girls, with there eyes kept on a shivering figure.

"I wan't working with the bandits."

The shivering figure of the dwarf was annoyed big time, when the ice melted off his body he was in a cage with a beggar and pigs beside him.

"Why am I back in this cage!!"

Beside him was a dirty boy, he had the face of someone who has just been raped by a bull.

"Shut up you criminal... 2 days later you showed up, that bandit attacked us."

It was again the leader of Silver eagles, Maisei.

"But I am not with him, do I look like a bandit to you."

The girls guarding the caravaan looked at him for some time.

"""""""Yeah Definitely!!"""""""" All the party members said that at the same time.

It definitely made Leo feel down, but by his side, not wanting to be ignored anymore.

"Hey!! HEy!! don't ignore me...... I said 'I was't with the bandits'."

The fat shivering dwarf had a pitiful expression on his face. From the time the dwarf woke up, he had said this.

In the beginning the girls gave him a thought and poked him from outside of the cage to shut him off.

But he kept saying the same thing.

This time too, he was ignored.

"Please release me at least.... I won't come into 100m of her highness again."

Leo was desperate to get away from the bandit beside him, if he is handed over to the guards with the dwarf, he will probably thought to be a conspirator.

"Maisei says shut up...... then just shut up.. we have reached the town.... oh I am so thirsty for some beer" on her horse the axe weilding Tuzzag ordered, She was the most annoyed in the group because she didn't get any chance to shine because of the state of the dwarf after melting up.

"What will happen to me!!"

This time Marilyn started speaking in a proud manner, as if she was conducting a court session.

"Due to imposing as the late prince and following his fiance, with the suspician of being a scout for the bandit group, that resulted in the death of 7 adventurers, you will be handed to the town gaurd and will atone for your crimes."

"And me!!?" The imposing and scary figure from before had dissapeared long ago, the girls were curius how can a person's personality change after a single fight, and small dwarf that seemed to them a lot higher existence than Silver Eagles, become like this.

"On the account of leading a 100 men army of bandits and slaughtering the innocents and adventurers, you will be executed accourding to the laws"

"But I didn't kill anyone..............right?"

Even the dwarf was confused if he had killed or not, and for the people in the caravan and the ones that fought him thought only one thing.

"It's true that you didn't killed anyone, but incase of leading a group that hurt and killed people to loot their belongings, you are to be treated for their crimes..... you are a leader so act like one."

Marilyn was annoyed by the dwarf, he couldn't understand the situation according to her.

The dwarf wanted to say something, but after laughing at himself, he looked down and closed his eyes.

Beside him, Leo didn't talk much, he saw as he entered the city gates and entered a city filled with life.

The whole city was made of stone, and was also a major trading point between countries so the population of the place was high.

As he went towards the town square, people and children looked at him and the dwarf as they were magical beast in cages( well they were).

Smell of sea was in the air, generalising that a harbour was near the town square, Leo for the first time felt ashamed.

He was in a cage filled with pigs, all dirty and littered in pig excrement along with an unlikely shivering companian, who didn't even looked towards him.

As the carriage got closed to the town square, loud shouting can be heard.

Various other caravaans were standing in the corner, and people were busy selling and buying the wares.

The caravaan went toward a large building, which had the word Merchants guild embedded on them.

After Roch talked with the men at the gate of the building, some merchants from the caravaan went in the guild, with people starting to take down their luggauge.

Roch walked towards the captive 2.

"Girls!! you go and register your activities to the adventurers guild. I will take care of these two."

Roch took the reins from the carriage driver and started to drive towards the town security. The girl's didn't said something like 'they wanted to go and keep an eye on them', but as 7 of Roch's men died and he was not able to do anything to save them, only to be knocked out in 1 swing.

He had a grumpy attitude.

The girls made way for the carriage to get out, and saw as it moved towards a large building.

After seeing no actions from the2 captives, the girls departed for the adventurers guild.

The carriage was moving slow, the streets were filled with people walking on the road, there was an awkward silence among Roch and his 2 captives.

"Uncle.... I am not a bandit!!"

Leo was desperate... He used to be a prince and now he's being accused of being a bandit, locked in a pig cage.

"I know you are not a bandit...."

There was a chance of salvation from this calamity, he didn't wanted to be a runaway criminal, or kill the innocent to save himself.

"Then... you will not hand me over to the guards?"

"No!! You followed a widow.. and imposted the late prince... even for a love struck boy.. you took it far when you showed up and took the candy away from a kid. I even felt that you were happy being beat up by that girl."

-'Feel happy being beat up by that bitch?... is this old man insane?'

Leo wanted to retort, but seeing that he was not considered a bandit, just some creepy candy snatching stalker who get off by being beaten up by a girl.

He was in much better condition.

He wanted to win over Roch's heart, by acting cute and cuddly, but his shit covered self only made him gross out.

Roch reached a big campus with a large flag of Falmer kingdom's insignia on it, it was more of a castle, people were going in and out of the large gate, old and young, men and women, even rough looking guards were all around the place.

In a corner, police( from now i will say police, as guards sound guarding to me) were doing their daily training.

After reaching one of the building on the whole campus, Roch noted the events on the paper along with handing us over to the guards.

As fate has it, I was stuck with the fat dwarf until we are summoned to court.

But he was happy, even though the traitorous Kyubi left him for the girls. He got to wash up before entering the jail.

He was handed down old rundown clothes and bread and water to eat.

"This is hard!!" while eating the hard bread, Leo complaint, he was a hungry demon who survived on mushrooms for 4 yrs and now he was force to eat a stale hard bread.

"Dip it in water and then eat it!!"

For the first time, The fat dwarf said something to Leo. It seems that seeing that he is going to be stuck with Leo for a while, he might just make him a partner to talk.

Leo followed his advice and dripped the bread in water, eating it quickly.

*Burp Leo looked toward the fat dwarf, that was surprisingly not eating the bread.

Thinking of a way to start a conversation, Leo just simply asked him."What's your name."

The dwarf still sitting on a corner, looked towards Leo and with a hint of intelligence in his eyes.

"Bram......Bramnom Stormmantle."

"My name is Leowald... Leo for short!!."

Leo didn't wanted to tell Bram his real name, people may not believe him, but if an unkown knows his true idntity something bad may happen.

After thinking for a while.

"You are not like, when you were attacking the caravaan.? What's with the mood swings"

Bram just smiled, as if mocking his fate.

"Forget about it..... you won't understand. tell me about yourself, why are you here?"

Leo thought it was an odd situation, anynne can determine his crime from the conversation with Roch.

"Well you see.. I saw this girl in the city............................."

He lied, he lied again, getting out of undead forest is impossible.

"Are you a pervert?"

-'Damn!! everytime'

"No! I don't want to hear that from a bandit..."

The two talked for a while, they didn't get close, just wanted someone to talk to.

The two even put out some offensive remarks, but Bram's remarks being a bit more crude considering he was a dwarf.

"Shut up!!"

Beating a stick on the cell rods.The officer guarding the cell ordered, Leo and Bram were the loudest in the whole jail.

They shut up and went ot sleep in the bed.

It was a double storey bed, with Bram sleeping in the lower part, as he was fat.

As for Leo.

'Enough playing around.'

Leo put a finger in his mouth and started to puke.

He decreased the sound as much as he can, so as to not disturb Bram or the officer.

After puking some melted bread, a shiny object fell out, on the bed.

-'Well sleeping on my own puke... great.'

The shiny object was a bronze ring, Leo hid it in his stomach, as the belongings of the prisoners were snatched away before entering the prison.

He directly took out a book and started reading it.

-'What the fuck?'

The name of the book was thirteen, he could read the book, but not the stuff written on it.

He looked through more books, but most of them were like this.

The only ones that were not in the wierd languages were the letters of the author.

He took out one of the letter and started reading it.

-'Because of me, a great tradegy happened, to atone for my crimes, I will be going on a exile. Please don't look for me, don't follow me I don't want to cause you anymore burden.'

The 1st letter he read was an apology, to whom he didn't know. He took out one more letter.

-'To the future owner of these books, to read the content written, you need to learn the forgotten Sanskrit language. If you want to save your loved ones... please try and learn the secrets of my research that is the only way, I have done many mistakes in my life, but now I will set the record straight.'

-'I knew!! Oracles were wierd... what mom said was right.' Leo was creeped out by the second letter, he felt as if he was stripped naked by some old womaan ages ago.

He closed the letters, and started planning of a way to acquire the knowledge required to read the research.

There were times when he felt playful, but as his sister said one day.

"Brother!! why do you act?"

He had a side of him unknown to anyone except his sister.

Yo!! sorry for the late release... and my diwali went well with some new and sad information I got.

The colony where I used to live when I was younger, has been turned into Tibeten border patrol.

Entry to non-family members is not allowed at night. FUCK!!

That bitch/asshole is lucky.... And because of my pussy friends who lost there shit after rebuked by a guard!! I din't get a chance to enter the colony at all.

I will still try it.
