《Demon Forever》24- "At last...we're here..."

Orwyn continent
The dark kingdom.
A safe haven for all demons on Gray planet. Technically, the inhabitants were all half demon clans of different bloodlines.
The war between the demon races and the humans had existed for a very long time. No one knows who threw the first rock but they all knew that they hated each other.
Fortunately, Gray planet only had two continents. They could live without seeing each other on their own continent.
Allan was relaxing in a sumptuous room, drinking wine.
He had just arrived in the dark kingdom.
The door suddenly opened as the dark king entered with a beautiful woman.
The dark king said: “This is my sister, Esther.”
Allan could feel that she was a strong Law seeker like the golden king. He said: “Pleased to meet you. I am Allan Falcon.”
She looked at the youth with gigantic wings with a smile as she nodded.
Allan then said to the Dark King: “Elric. Tell me...with just the two of you, you could win against the Golden king. Why pretend to be weak?”
The dark king, Elric, shook his head saying: “The golden king practices an art that allows him to manufacture an army of ascendants as well as a few Law seekers. No one knows just how many Law seekers puppets he’s hiding. Even if he is weaker than us, he can match us with numbers.”
“I understand, I practice a better version of the /sun emissary/ art, the /light emissary/ art.” Allan said as he downed the last of his wine and went for a refill. He could not see the shocked faces of the two siblings.
“But that is impossible. Only humans can cultivate those two arts.”Esther said.
“I guess I am the exception.” Allan said.
Elric said: “If you were on our side, we could really win.”
Allan shook his head as he said: “This is not my war. Besides, I will soon leave this planet.”
“Sigh...a pity.” Elric helplessly said.
“Oh...right...Allan do you know what kind of bloodline you have?” Elric asked as he joined Allan to drink.
Allan was surprised by the sudden question. He said: “I have no idea. My ancestor was a human who implanted the blood of a godbeast inside his body and became a half demon. When the ancestral awakening hit me, I didn’t fully transform into a complete demon, all I got was these black wings that can’t be removed.”
“Look at me...this is my final demon form.” Elric said as he started morphing into a furry beast.
In a split second, instead of the human Elric, there was a black wolf three meters high.
“My ancestor was a powerful human who slew a demonic wolf and stole its essence blood that he implanted into himself becoming a half demon. Most clans under my rule also have similar stories.” said Elric as he took his human form again.
Allan had been scared by the gigantic black wolf. He had felt that there was no more restraint in Elric’s aura. Transforming had unlocked Elric’s full power and abilities.
“Maybe I’m some kind of bird...” Allan mocked himself.
“It’s what I thought as well...Did you gain any physical abilities after the ancestral awakening?” Esther asked.

Allan thought for a moment before he said: “These black wings make me fly faster than the normal wings I conjure from my inner world which are already faster than normal.”
“Speed huh...That’s quite normal. Maybe you need to further awaken your bloodline to unlock other hidden abilities. At birth, my demonic wolf bloodline gives us senses a thousand times more powerful than those of a regular human. The physical strength and speed are abnormal as well. Even among the half-demon clans on this continent, my demonic wolf bloodline is one of the most powerful bloodlines.” Elric said.
The door abruptly opened.
A young man entered the room followed by an old man.
“I’m sorry to interrupt, father. But all the clan chiefs are waiting for you in the throne room.” The youth said.
“Davis. Is it you who called them to the palace?” Elric asked.
It was at this moment that the old man said: “It is my doing. I called them all to discuss how the soul energy crystals will be split.”
“Sigh...Alucard. Why must you make things difficult for us all? If only you had kept your mouth shut.” Elric said to the old man.
“The faster we resolve this issue, the faster we can start inscribing the formation with their help. It is the entire continent we are talking about. Our Orwyn continent is thirty-five percent bigger than the Southhollow continent. To inscribe the formation on the whole continent, all of us are needed.”Alucard said.
“That is not the issue, is it?” Allan said.
Davis and Alucard finally seemed to notice his presence despite the fact that his wings made Allan conspicuous enough.
Allan kept drinking. He stopped and said: “You are way too impatient to get your hands on some soul energy crystals. What you do not know is that it cannot be done overnight. It will take months if not a year to inscribe the formation on the whole continent.”
Davis said:“Allan, is it? I hear that you are still siphoning away soul energy from the two continents. Don’t you feel like you owe us some soul crystals as well? After all, you’re harvesting on our territory.” He was clearly irritated by Allan’s behavior.
“If you feel like you can force me to hand over my formation core, feel free to try. I was just trying to tell you that it is not easy to inscribe the formation even if you have a formation master.” Allan shrugged.
“You...” Davis said before his father said: “Enough...you can go now. I’ll be in the throne room in a moment.”
Both Davis and Alucard soundlessly left.
In the hall, as they walked towards the throne room, Alucard said: “He’s quite confident in himself for an Ascendant god.”
“My aunt said that the Golden king could not do a thing to him after the ancestral awakening.” Davis said.
“Is his bloodline so pure that he can ignore levels to fight a Law seeker when he’s just an Ascendant?” Alucard thought out loud.
“He’s in possession of that formation. Who knows just how many soul energy crystals he used to purify his bloodline.” Davis said.
“Let’s forget about it. We should be grateful to him for giving us the formation.” Alucard said.

They arrived in the throne room where sixteen figures were conversing in small groups.
They were the clan chiefs of the sixteen great clans of the dark kingdom.
Fifteen minutes later, Elric, Esther and Allan also arrived in the throne room.
Allan was the target of many eyes as it was the first time that the clan chiefs saw him.
Elric sat on the throne. He said: “I know why you are here, but I must make something clear: The soul energy crystals will be distributed when they are ready. There is no need to force my hand the very first day I got the formation.”
A man among the clan chiefs advanced. His name was Dann. He was from the Demonic Blue Ape clan. He said: “We only ask to keep the harvests of our own cities and territory. You can harvest from all the continent at the same time.”
“For that to happen you’d need the formation as well...I can agree to that but the formation will remain in the hands of my men. You’ll have to wait until they inscribe the formation around your territories.” Elric said.
A woman, Lisa, from the Black and White demon Tiger clan said: “Right now, there are only three Law seekers on the continent. With the soul energy crystals, we can quadruple that number in no time. We can finally win this war with so many Law seekers. Isn't it in our best interest to strengthen ourselves as quickly as possible?”
Elric inwardly sighed as he looked at the greedy eyes of his subjects. He said: “There is no need for me to hand over the formation now. You will all get your crystals once the formation is operational.”
The clan chiefs argued for a while but Elric never gave in.
On the other hand, Allan was calmly observing the show before him. He could feel that each of the clan chiefs was a hair away from the Law seekers realm. It was understandable that they would go crazy for the crystals as the crystals were their only chance for a breakthrough.
In a way, Allan felt sorry for the humans. If the golden king did not take care of the strength of his generals soon, they would all be in for a beating. These half-demons had the bonus strength of demonic beasts. So a breakthrough to the 1st tier Law seekers realm was equivalent to a human 2nd tier of the Law seekers realm. Elric himself was probably a 3rd tier Law seekers realm. His sister a 2nd tier Law seeker. Allan had yet to meet the third Law seeker of the Dark kingdom but it could be said that, being a half demon, he was already stronger than the Golden king should they both be at the same 1st tier of the Law seekers realm.
Grayhell continent, Lumos planet
Arkul was solemnly looking at the protective screen located at the entrance of the ruins that had once taken Allan away from this world.
It had been a few days that he had finally reached the Law seekers realm.
Looking at him in his humanoid body, sparks of a yellowish fire could be seen all around him.
The look in his eyes was also different. It was as if he had been reborn anew after reaching his current strength.
In the background, Cain and Alistair, as well as a good five hundred dragon warriors, had followed Arkul.
There were also Allan’s five protectors who looked at Arkul with hopeful eyes.
John Brower, Allan’s in name master and Sect leader of the Demonic sword sect was looking at everything from a corner not daring to approach. He still felt ashamed of being incapable of reaching the Primordial god realm after using a huge amount of soul energy crystals. Even if he was the only one who could enter the restricted ruins at the moment, he was useless as he could not bring anyone inside. Only Primordial Gods could bring living beings in their own inner world.
“Here goes nothing.” Arkul sighed before he summoned red-yellow flames to attack the barrier.
A twister of flames violently hit the barrier.
Arkul kept increasing the flames. He was trying to overwhelm the barrier by hitting it with everything he had.
The temperature in the area changed but they were all cultivators with powerful bodies. However, they could barely withstand the powerful heat generated by the flames.
Nothing happened.
The protective screen stayed still and no damage could be seen.
“I knew it wouldn’t be so easy but this is too much.” Arkul thought. He looked at John Brower and thought: “I guess I have no choice but to turn him into a half demon.”
Arkul moved towards John Brower while preparing his essence blood.
On the way, he was thinking: “With my cultivation at the Law seekers realm, my essence blood will immediately turn him into an Ascendant god realm half demon. It is always one realm below the original when an implantation of a bloodline is performed. However, he must be able to withstand it, a law will be ignited after all and he hasn’t trained for it.”
“What are you doing?” John Brower fearfully asked.
“Trying to save Allan. You better survive this.” The drop of essence blood disappeared inside John’s forehead.
It took a few hours of pain and screams for the transformation to end.
“You should be able to bring us all into the inner world of the demonic core.” Arkul said.
“You turned me into a half demon.” John Brower said.
“It was the only way to ensure that we can all go through that barrier. Besides, you’re now much stronger than you were as a simple human.” Arkul blandly said.
“You do not understand.” John Brower’s madness was starting to appear. He continued: “I am slowly losing my human cultivation. My /light emissary/ art is dissipating. It seems that I can only cultivate it as a human but it doesn’t make sense. Allan is a half demon and he was fine cultivating it.”
Arkul waved his hand and a wind sucked all the dragon warriors and the five protectors into his demonic core. He then looked at John Brower and urged him: “Hurry. I want to be inside the ruins before the /light emissary/ art completely dissipates.”
John Brower immediately put Arkul into his new demonic core and headed to the barrier with haste before he lost his human cultivation completely.
Once he got in, he released Arkul.
“At last...we’re here.” Arkul said.

Eldritch
Dreams.I never thought much about them.Mostly for the point that I could never remember any of mine. And the bits and pieces that remain would never make sense. This is what dreams are like after all.Just some random mix, thrown together by an unstable mind to get over the stuff which bothered one during the day.At least that's what I thought.Until they turned against me.Twisted everything I knew and turned my whole existence into a nightmare. But the thing is... It's mine.

Any reposts of Querencia Quintet are not mine and should be reported straight to myself, all copyright ... rights... are withstanding. Book one in the Querencia Quintet franchise is titled "Polarity/Pestilence" and it starts off with our sarcastic, overpowered protagonist, Charley Dunne, a 17 year old werewolf who has been cordially invited by his Werewolf clan's boss, Markus Fell. The invitation is related to Charley's supernatural academy's graduation party. He is about to move out of his parents' house and attend college. The events prior to his successful passing marks within his last exam, all 17 years of his life, have been leading up to one moment and one moment only; war. The war shall begin when he turns 18, the night of April 2nd, 2017. Whose side(s) will Charley Dunne possibly select as his loyal allies; Fleshflingers (Zombies)? Moonbearers (Werewolves)? Spellcasters (Witches and Wizards)? Bloodsuckers (Vampires)? Or Mortals (Humans)? A few, more than a few, or, miraculously, will he be able to unite all five supernatural Councils (groups) and form an eternal pact that may just last a dozen or so centuries? Find out in the very first instalment of: Querencia Quintet. Quoted from my official Wattpad story's description: "Werewolves. Demons. Angels. Spirits. Vampires. Zombies. Humans -- and the greatest supernatural species of them all; witches. The nine Lords of the Night, the thirteen Lords of the Day, the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the god of war, Horus, and the greatest progenitor of the mystical arts, Merlin. These five Councils could form a pact that lasts many lifetimes ... but will their differences and flaws work against them? Do the five magical chambers butt heads, or do they accept their uniqueness and strengths and work together?"
