Father Johnnathan-Welcome home Gabe,how was your day at school?(Father Johnnathan asked Gabriel that question everyday for the past years that Gabriel was attending shcool)

Gabriel-Same as always father...Just a bit more exciting.

F.Johnnathan-What do you mean?What was so exciting ?

Gabriel-I caught a glimse of Helen while i was sitting in the schoolyard.

F.Johnnathan-You have feelings for Helen for a long time now Gabriel,so why don't talk to her?

Gabriel-Because father,i am ugly and disfigured,she wouldn't even let me look at her.(Gabriel's face and body was disfigured since F.Johnnathan found Gabriel crying in front of the chirch)

F.Johnnathan-Gabe...you know full well that appearence isn't everything,you are a kind young man and that alone is enough to find the right woman to love.

Gabriel left the room and went downstairs to his room full of thoughts "a kind young man?Like that matters to anyone."

Since the first day at school Gabriel had a lot of problems including getting bullied by other kids for his apearrence.He found a way not to provoke the kids by hiding in the school's bathroom but

that made him even more distant from the kids at school resulting in Gabriel's to be none except for the girl he had feeling for and that girl was Helen.Gabriel and Helen lived in the same orphanage

for many years and that way Gabriel felt very close to her,but there was a problem within his mind,Helen was a very attractive girl and popular in school,that made Gabriel feel even worse because he

thought that Helen was never even going to talk to him let alone have the same feelings as he had.Helen would be described better as a girl from next door,blonde hair,blue eyes and above average

girls but never the most beautifull in school,Gabriel on the other hand had a disfigured face with messy dark hair,his eyes were darker than the night itself,his body was weird looking and very skinny

to the point someone would think that touching him would take him apart,he had a small hunch enough to be noticeable and though he was seventeen years old he had no sign of facial hair.

Helen was a year older than Gabriel and a very brilliant student,that made Gabriel think even more about the fact that he had no chance with her since he wasn't goodlooking and having trouble with

his appearence made him a bad student since he could not focus on his studies and getting bullied by other kids did not help him either.

F.Johnnathan was in charge for the chirch orphanage and he was Gabriel's guardian so when the time for the school results was to come he would be the one to talk with his teacher.Since our story

takes place in a small European village it is easy for everyone to find out about other people's mess and the school results was an easy way to mess up,especialy in Gabriel's case for everyone

had a bad attitude towards him cause of his appearence and lack of comunication,so if you did a bad thing everyone would find out and mock you or avoid talking to you untill the problem was

fixed or forgotten in the people's minds.Gabriel knew that tried to be "invisible" in order to not draw unwanted attention and provoke everyone into messing with him even more but never

told anything to F.Johnnathan about his troubles or his thoughts,so F.Johnnathan was not aware of Gabriel's state of mind.

Gabriel thought about many things the time he was sitting alone in his room with a small lamp hanging from the ceilling,his room in the orphanage wasn't bad but it was a simple room without

a television or gaming console and room enough for a bed and a desk which Gabriel never used to study but only to sit and be dovoured by his hatred for the people that brought him to this state,

the kids in school for treating him that way,his biological parents that probably abandoned him for his appearence and left him in the street not wondering what could happen to a baby left alone,

his teachers and the other kids for not trying to prevent the bullying and the system itself or being ruthless to him.The only people left outside of Gabriel's hate was F.Johnnathan and Helen whom he

had only feelings of love,deep inside his mind one would find only chaos and hatred for the unfair and cruel world he was forced into.Gabriel would sit still and lean his head on the desk with his

eyes closed while thinking about how he would get past the next day as if nothing else matters other than surviving one more day.

The next day was saturday so Gabriel had a day off from school leaving him with some chores to do in the orphanage,every weekend all the kids of the orphanage would help F.Johnnathan with

the chores and then they would all sit together and eat dinner in the diner,Gabriel had to clean the diner and prepare the tables before dinner time also do the dishes after the everyone has eaten.

The day was as normal as it could be untill Helen finished the gardening and went to help F.Johnnathan with the laundry.

Helen-Father?

F.Johnnathan-Yes,my dear girl?

Helen-I was wondering why Gabe stopped talking to me at school,did i do something wrong?

F.Johnnathan-No child,you didn't do anything wrong.

Helen-But what happened?I feel like i did something to him and now he doesn't want to talk to me.

F.Johnnathan-Even if i told you you wouldn't understand what's in his mind,even i don't understand Gabe some times.

Helen-A lot is happening in school that you don't know father and i don't think Gabe wants you to find out.

F.Johnnathan-What are you talking about Helen?What is it that Gabe doesn't want me to find out?

Helen-You see father,some kids in school are giving trouble to Gabe and call him ugly and other bad things that i can't tell you...

F.Johnnathan-Yes i kinda knew that was happening,but i wanted him to tell me about it.

Helen-You did?And why didn't you try to stop it?

F.Johnnathan-Because child,you can't change someones heart,you can only help him identify the problem within him and then only he can change what is wrong with him,if he wants to change.

Helen-Maybe you should talk to him about it,i am sure you can help him,you are always right father.

F.Johnnathan-If he wanted to talk to me he would come to me by his own will,why dont you try talking to him?

Helen-You think that would be better?

F.Johnnathan-Of course child,go on take some time and talk to him,he should be in the diner alone cleaning.

Helen-I'll go right now father,i'll see you at dinner.

F.Johnnathan-I'll see you at dinner then child,you may go now.

As Helen was climbing the stairs she heard dishes smashing to the floor and rushed to the dinner to she what happened.She then found Gabriel lying on the floor with smashed dishes and

glasses around him,he was cursing at the dishes which Helen found out to be funny and laughed.Gabriel saw Helen laughing and thought she was laughing at him for being a fool,that destroyed him

in the inside and anger took over his head,he then calmed hiself because he couldn't get mad at Helen by any means.

Gabriel-You must think i am fool too right?

Helen-No!I was just laughing because you were yelling at the dishes.Are you hurt?

Gabriel-No,I am fine thanks for worring about me.

Helen-Of course i worry about you,you are my friend.

Gabriel then thought to himself (FRIEND? OH MY GOD I HAVE NO CHANCE AT ALL IF IM STUCK AS A "FRIEND")then Gabriel took a deep breath and replied:Oh i see...

Helen-Gabe,can i ask you something?

Gabriel-Of course Helen you can ask anything you want.(IS THIS THE GLORIOUS MOMENT?)

Helen-Did i do anything bad to you?

Gabriel-You couldn't have done anything bad to me even if you wanted Helen.

Helen-Then why are you so distant from me the whole time and spending all your time in you room lately?

Gabriel thought(oh crap what do i do now?i can't tell her i feel uncomfortable talking to her,she would definitelly think im a fool now....i must act cool)and replied:I have a lot of work lately and

i don't have much time...(YOU IDIOT NOW SHE IS GONNA THINK YOU DON'T HAVE TIME FOR HER)

Helen lowered her eyes and said in a calm voice:Oh i see,so we are still friends right?

Gabriel-Yes of course...(Again this friend bullshit!How am i going to to do to get out of this?)

Helen-I'm glad,let me help you clean up.

Gabriel-Thank you very much.(THIS IS TERRIBLE I CAN'T SPEND MUCH TIME WITH HER WITHOUT ACTING STUPID)

While the kids were cleaning the diner there was complete silence and Gabriel was feeling uneasy being with Helen all alone and unable to do anything to impress her,then the other kids came in

and started taking their seats for dinner,Gabriel and Helen finished up a bit late but took their seats too,Gabriel's seat was far away from Helen's,in fact his seat was the last seat in a lonely table

made for two.Gabriel had dinner by himself as he did every other time but at one momment he could hear a voice saying"Helen come sit with us don't go to him."

Gabriel thought(Helen is coming to sit with me?OH YEAH SCORE,wait, did that girl just yell don't sit with him at Helen?)

Helen-Hey Gabe can i sit with you untill you finish your dinner?

Gabriel-Y...yes of course you can.(Who was that bitch that told her not to?)

Helen-Umm...Gabe why are you always eating alone like that?

Gabriel-I don't know,why don't you ask everyone else why they are always sitting away from me?

Helen-Maybe because you seem a bit distant,they feel uncomfortable with you.

Gabriel-And why are you sitting with me?

Helen-I don't know...

Gabriel then thought(She isn't here because she feels pity for me is she?)the thought that Helen feels just pity for Gabriel made his mind furious with anger so great that he forgot every feeling he had

for Helen and he burst into rage yelling:I DON'T NEED ANY OF YOUR PITY OK?GO BOTHER SOMEONE ELSE,IF YOU CAME HERE JUST TO MAKE FUN OF ME I AM NOT HAVING ANY OF IT.

Helen run to her room crying and everyone in the room turned to Gabriel to see what happened to which he replied"WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT IDIOTS?".No one spoke a word,Gabriel then

stood up and went to his room with a head full of rage and guilt at the same time for what he said earlier.He stood in front of the mirror in his room and said"How can you be such a moron Gabe?"then

he tried to hit the mirror with his punch which didn't break the mirror but hurt his hand and then thought(I CAN'T EVEN BREAK A MIRROR I'M SO WEAK IT IS PATHETIC)both kids then cried

themselves to sleep untill the next morning.

Next Sunday morning Gabriel had to do the dishes he left dirty the last night when he run to his room and then proceed with painting the fence for it was about summer and the fence had to get a

paint job,that gave Gabriel the oportunity he wanted to be left alone for a lot of time and not have to deal with everyone in the orphanage.While painting the fence Gabriel noticed a strange man

aproaching with a long beard and a crazy look in his eyes then the man saw Gabriel and said:Hey there kid.

Gabriel-Hello...

Man-What are you doing here all alone?

Gabriel-What does it look like to you moron?I am painting.

Man-Don't be such an asshole with someone who you just met boy,you never know what he may do to you.

Gabriel-And what could a drunk guy like you do to me behind this fence?

Then the man jumped above the fence and landed next to Gabriel,the fence surounding the orphanage was a 3 meter wooden fence that no one could even climb to get inside.Gabriel consumed by

fear couldn't even react to the whole situation and froze,then the man yelled "OH SHIT A CHURCH"and run out the same way he got in all while Gabriel could't move a finger to protect himself.

Man-You are lucky boy,but the next time i come across you will be your last.

Gabriel then noticed fur coming out of the man's body and run away as fast as his disfigured body could handle to hide in his room for the whole day in fear of that man still being outside to grab

him the moment he stepped out of the orphanage.Gabriel then thought(What the hell was that thing?And why did he run as soon as he noticed the church?).Gabriel spent the rest of the day in his room.

The next morning Gabriel begged F.Johnnathan to let him stay at his room and not go to school.

Gabriel-Please father let me stay in, i can't get out there.

F.Johnnathan thought this was because of Gabriel's last burst of anger and the fact that he feared the bullies in shcool as well as the school results that would come out this morning so he took Gabriel

to school himself.Gabriel thought that if he was with F.Johnnathan nothing bad would happen with him,so they both went to school that morning.

F.Johnnathan-I will come later to pick up your results and drive you home if you want to,is that ok Gabe?

Gabriel-Yes father please come and pick me up.(WHAT THE RESULTS ARE COMING OUT TODAY?OH SHIT)

By the time Gabriel got in the school everyone looked at him and loughed,they all knew about his outrage episode in the orphanage and started picking on him calling him"oh it's mr.scary with his

might he is going to hurt us"mocking him every time he passed through untill Gabriel couldn't bear anymore and run outside to the streets where some kids followed him and started tossing him

arround on the sidewalk,calling him an ugly monster.Gabriel tried then to fight back even though he knew he had no chance,Gabriel's attempt to fight enraged one of the kids that bullied him

and he tossed Gabriel with all his strength on the busy road,some of the cars stopped moving in order to prevent an accident,at that moment a man appeared from one of the alleys,Gabriel recognized him

immediately,it was the same man from yesterday,Gabriel froze once again...

Man-Found you.

Bully-What do you want old man?

Man-None of your business kid,beat it."Growled at the kids"

Bully-Run!

Gabriel-What do you want from me?

Man-To hear you scream.

The man grabbed Gabriel and started punching him and throwing all over the street,the drivers abanddoned their cars in front of this terrible fight,no one had the courage to stand up to the guy that was beating a

deformed weak kid to death,at some point Gabriel fell unconcious,the man kept on kicking him while on the ground,untill one man got out of his car started shooting at the man,making him leave behind his almost

dead victim...
