Inside the Imperial Palace, Northern Kingdom of Telios.
"...So it's true, then."
"Sadly yes, my King. According to our spies, Extas is at the moment planning to mobilize a large amount of troops in order to invade us."
"How are our chances?"
"...I've yet to gather enough information to give a precise conclusion, forgive me."
"...Make haste. And do not let this information leak into the public."
"Yes, your Majesty."
And so, the advisor left, leaving the king alone in his studies.
"If only you're still alive, Ray the Hero, none of this would've happen..."
************************************************************************************************
In the Southern Kingdom of Bale.
"So Extas is finally moving eh? Shall we participate?"
"Still too soon to make judgement, after all we do have to pick a side in this. Each Kingdom have a Chosen of their own. It'll be fatal if we make the wrong move in these turbulent times."
"Eh, who cares, I miss the Demon Battlefield, getting in a fight is fun!"
"Only you, Rute, only you. Still, we shall consider increase our fundings in self-defense and training."
"You know me well."
"Of course."
************************************************************************************************
Eastern Kingdom Valframe.
"I refuse to participate in your plan."
"But Miss, this is for the good of the Kingdom... the Continent's fate is at stake here."
"I refuse. Isn't one war enough already? How many more lives must be sacrifice for you fools to understand?"
"I understand that you need time, but this is the future of the world we're talking about here..."
"Get the hell out." - the sounds of a spell being cast at rapid speed.
"...Yes, Miss. Anything for our Chosen."
The servant left the room quickly.

"...Why does this always happen..." - the girl mumbles to herself, eyes thinking about something faraway.
************************************************************************************************
Western Kingdom Extas.
"So the information leaked. By your design, I presume? To sneak some fear into the public?"
"Ho, so quick of you to see through me, I'm impressed. Befitting to be our Chosen as always."
"Cheap flattery, that doesn't suit you."
"Heh, I don't usually suck up to people, but you're worth the effort to."
"Quit it, so what's next, Genius Tactician."
"Well, it involves you actually, Cole."
"Me? What's this now?" - Cole, looking confused.
"You're going on a trip, to Telios."
"For...what exactly?"
"I retract my statement earlier, that must've been a lucky guess." - the "Genius Tactician" looking very annoyed - "You're to go on a politic trip to Telios to find out the condition of their Chosen and to find information about the Hero."
"Isn't the Hero dead?" - Cole, seems very disgruntled that the Hero was brought up.
"Seems to be, yet...I'm not so sure. As long as I haven't seen his body with my own two eyes, I'm skeptical about everything."
"...You do know that I'll protect him if he's alive right?"
"Oh, guess we'll just have to replace you then." - the "tactician" said with a smile. A smile that sends chills down the bone.
"...I'll go."
"Of course you will."
************************************************************************************************
Meanwhile, our Hero, at the center of it all, is currently having a panic attack.
"...Another one knows my name....Another one knows my name...."
"...I don't want to fight anymore...No more sacrifices..."
His eyes are erratic, his minds flashing images from the battlefield in the past.
The smell of blood and steel.
The sounds of sword meets flesh.
The agonizing howls and screams .
The flashing banners.
The war drums.
The sounds of marching platoons.
It was so vivid. So real. Too real.
"I...need...my...drink..."
He desperately reach for a special bottle marked with "Relapse", open it and proceed to chug it down.
And so he collapses on the floor.
End of Chapter 5.

Unbound Deathlord: Challenge
Due to Amazon's Kindle Unlimited rules, I had to pull most of the book content from RoyalRoad. Only sample chapters remain. To read a fiction that will never be removed from Royal Road, I recommend my other fiction: Immortal Conqueror. The first two books of the series are out on Amazon: Book 1: Unbound Deathlord: ChallengeBook 2: Unbound Deathlord: Obliteration Book 1: Challenge When virtual reality becomes real enough that people feel as if they’re being transported to another world, Valia Online arrives.A man running from his past joins the game to forget it all. Calling himself Jack Thorn, he chooses an undead race, Deathlord.A mage by choice, and a swordsman by necessity, he soon finds out that he’ll need to use much more than magic and steel to survive; strategy, creativity, and carefully chosen words can often accomplish what simple attacks can’t.As the game becomes too real and touches a part of him that he’d rather leave buried, he is faced with two questions:Who is he, really? And who should he become?

Glitch
202X - The Universe is proven to be a Simulation An outbreak of nihilism and crime follows the discovery. It is not long before institutions and criminals develop a way to cheat our false reality and achieve impossible feats. They call this new tool Glitch and its uses vary: from editing the body with superhuman capacities to manipulating the elements and the Earth. Those who yield this new power are called Glitchers, and they are held as the Greek Heroes of the new times. Edward Williams is a naïve anime-geek teenager from Chicago who dreams of making a difference in the world. He becomes a Glitcher when Thief Queen Elizabeth Shao, a legendary Glitcher herself, suffers a betrayal by the hands of her comrades and invades the boy’s body in order to cheat Death and plot her revenge. Together, Edward and Thief Queen will build new bonds, live many misadventures and try not kill each other in an ever more chaotic America. Cover art by the talented graphic designer ssddx. The entire novel's philosophical proposal is about finding meaning in a nihilistic world. This novel is a fun juvenalia take on the impact of the 'Death of God' and Descartes's skepticism. ;) (Back cover)

Superhuman Magus
A story about an anti-hero guy among righteous people fighting against villains disturbing peace of his land. That's how the story unfolds. Interesting, right? Higher Races rules over lower human/sub-human races! The protoganist believes Higher Race took away his family. But he is powerless. So, he gave up so that he could live a harmless life. But fate didn't allow him to do so as it gave him a Supernatural power called 'Avasci'. But that wasn't the end as he found something else within him, something that allows him to defy his human limits. But nothing good comes without a price, balance is an universal law. Will Eason defy his limits while pursuing after his parents? Or will he lose the motivation to do so and selfishly pursue after power? >>NOTE: This is my first novel, so go easy on me with the typos and grammar mistakes.Release Time : Minimum=>1 chapter(good plot)/weekI will release more if I get enough time >>Title Name: The first title name was called Limits Defying Human which is basically the theme of the story. Superhuman Magus is a title that is based on a concept. Can't say more as it's a spoiler. I prefer the first title but it's just that the current title might attract more people. First title didn't make the novel seem like it's fantasy based. >>Motivation to create Novel: I created this novel to implement the vast imaginations I had while I was not creating a novel. So, there will be a lot of extreme imaginations. Most of these imaginations can only be implemented afterwards as it's a story. So it will take a while.

Amy Thorne has always abhorred making a scene and sticking out. Despite her best efforts in the past, she's never truly been assertive, and prefers sticking to the background. So when a clique of Mean Girls wannabees start sullying her good name in the Art History department of her university, what is she to do? Contacting the Dean would make a big fuss, and likely would give her the wrong kind of attention. But her subdued pride demands satisfaction! If only there was a way to get back at these girls with out jeopardizing her desire to remain in the background. The only solution? Magic learned from the forbidden texts of her part-time job.
