《Godmaker's Gem》Chapter 5. New body and future.

AAAAAAAAAnd its still dark.
How long have I been here? Days? Weeks? Months?
I have no idea.
Tim became nonexistent after a while.
There was only me and the darkness.
Did I die? Is this death? How? How did I die? No, I won't accept this. I haven't done anything yet; I haven't even lived. I will not die before I started living!
With all my force I concentrated, trying to spread my lines.
I tried and tried, yet nothing came out of me except a long sight.
Shit, I need to think, I need to rethink this. Right now, my only saving grace is my power. Right, Reconstruction. It destroys then reshapes the matter around me using my energy. Since it didn't activate when I tried, must mean that I am touching nothing.
Right, so what do I have? I have---me.
Damn, I am screwed, aren't I?
No, no, nein, nem, do not think like this, me! You can do this! Right, right, right, left.
Okay, sooooo the only thing I have is my mind my mana. To use my power, I need mana to…circulate in an object? But, but, but, butt, is it possible to… Reconstruct my own mana? Make it into solid? It might be possible to create something with it.
I don't have anything to lose so why not.
I concentrated, extending my mana then trying to leaser them, like two sheets of paper.
God, this is fricking exhausting, and I haven't even started the hard part. Sigh, Reconstruction.
Finally, my lines appeared, cert they were very short and wobbly.
Right, now that I dan this, what now.
I need a way of transportation. Right, something that can carry me. Like an animal… Eh, let's proceed slowly. For starters, something like four insect legs will be enough. I can always rework the design so there is no rush. Right, let's get this thing started.
The process was slow.
My mana production was low and maintaining the already created part was hard, I even screwed up a few times forcing me to restart from zero.
Damned Damn Damn on a damned damn damn it.
When I believed that I had enough "sheets" of solid lines, the biggest problem arose.
I had no idea how joints work.
At that one time with my first owner was an accident, happening in the heat of the moment.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhh, you are kidding me?!
I spent weeks creating the prototype. Costing me to lose focus, making my hardly made progress into nothing.
When I finally figured how it worked, I slowly started to create copies of it. I decided to stop at three since I believed that they were enough for me to move. As for a finishing touch, I created something like a net, that I waved between the legs to lift me.
Well, lifting wasn't the word. It was more like dragging my sorry ass on the floor.
Beggars can't be choosers. Now, where do little me go? Forward in the darkness obviously!
So, I did, going forward, not stopping.
My energy should have run out a long time ago, yet I could still maintain my legs.
Wherever I am semes to be providing me with an abundant quantity of energy.
If only I could increase my output, I could make something faster than these skinny legs.
I crawled for who knows how long, creating more and more blueprints in my head for my perfect body.
I went with a humanoid design till I found a problem.
What about the face?
What should I choose? I can make it however I want…. Aaaaah, I will deal with it when I am at it.

After a while I finally found something.
It was hard to describe it. A door, but not a door, made from what seemed to be solid light, that didn't illuminate the surroundings.
This thing was, incomprehensible for me, and jet it gave me a sense of hope.
If this is a door then I can drag myself out of here! Damn, I might be the only person happy to step into the light…
I approached the door and I tapped it a little with one of my legs.
I expected it to hit something solid, but it went past it.
Nice. Endless Darkness, see you never!
Passing through the door my body became weightless.
This sudden turn of events caused me to scream, like a little girl in my head.
Then the next thing I knew was that I was submerged in something blue.
Oh, shit no, not like this. I don't want to suffocate I-I-I don't have lungs.
Right, I forgot, no lungs. And I am rising slowly. This is embarrassing.
My legs seemed to be light enough to float on water, so I was soon on the surface.
When my body poked up from the surface, my vision was assaulted by the bright light of my environment.
Well, I have been in that darkness for a very long time, so I can't help it.
When I could see again, I was lost for words.
It seemed like I was in the middle of a large body of water with a blue sky. There were no clouds or even waves, just an ever-pressing stillness.
Cool, fine, I don't have any idea where I am, but I was the one who wanted to get away soooo karma.
Before I could do anything, something was approaching me from the distance.
Great an inhabitant. It will probably pick me up and take me to a place where I can figure out what is happening.
The silhouette was slowly getting bigger till I finally saw what it was. It was a wooden boat, with a man sitting in it.
He had long hair and a beautiful face. If not for his chest I would have totally confided him with a girl.
"What's this?" not raising his hand the man looked at me. The next thing I knew was that I was lifted into the air before his face, my three legs dangling down like tentacles.
Hey, now pal let's talk about this!
"Hmmm, interesting. A skill that has a conscience. Fascinating."
What? I am a skill? What those that even mean?!
"Fascinating. Hey little guy, if you can understand me raise one of your appendages."
T-These are legs, okay! I had nothing to work with so screw you. Sigh. Man, I am tired.
I slowly raised my middle leg.
"I see. Can you talk? Raise it again if no."
I raised it again.
"That's a disappointment. Not every day that I find something so interesting as you. How did you even get here? This is the Sea of Souls, only the dead can come here."
I am dead?! H-How did I die?! Wait, objects can die? Where do I go?
Maybe he sensed my terror, he started to laugh.
"Don't worry. You are not dead. Well, you were newer really alive so-"
I extended one of my legs trying to punch him, failing miserably.
"Right, sorry. Anyhow, what should I do with you? You can't go to the other side since you have no soul, and you can't go back without a body. Hmmmmm."
I leave this to you; I have no idea what's happening anyway.

Suddenly, the man looked at the senary of the sea, with a smile getting bigger and bigger on his face.
"I just found a great solution for you."
…I am listening.
"Right now, some of my acquaintance's believers are having some trouble with a monster. I want you to give them a hand. In exchange, you will get a new body and I will give you some power."
Hmmm, sounds too great to be true, but who cares? Count me in!
I raised all my legs in appreciation.
"Good. Then good luck, little skill."
He grabbed me by one of my legs and with inhuman strength, he tossed me overboard.
My body started to spin, like a frisbee, making my surroundings flue.
Then suddenly I was back in the darkness.
Before I could panic, my surroundings changed again and now I was looking at a grey sky.
Damn, I feel horrible what the hell happened?

-5 minutes earlier. –
"Master! Master! Please wake up!"
"Mary get away from her!"
"No master!"
An armored individual grabbed the little girl and jumped away. He was just in time, the place they just stud a second ago was destroyed by an explosion.
The source of the attack came from the giant monster that was standing at the end of the half-destroyed building.
It was huge with a body entirely covered in fur, only its ugly head was visible and even that was covered in scales and had 8 eyes on it.
The creature let out a loud laugh before launching another energy attack at the remaining knights. Thankfully to the jetpacks on their backs they could easily doge the slow attacks.
"No master!" the small girl started to cry her tears fell unto the ground like rains.
"It's over, Mary. She won't suffer anymore."
From the helmet of the knight, a feminine voice could be heard.
'Stena take that spirit away! She is a hindrance without her master!'
"Yes, commander! Come with me, Mary. We need to go!"
"No. No Won't go! Master!
Boom!
From, where the explosion happened, a green lighting stuck the ground.
The force of the impact was so great that it knocked every one of their feet, even the huge monster standing before it.
"What is the meaning of this?! Who dares stand before the might of the King of Kings!?"
From the smoke a figure rise.
It was an armor, colored in neon green with dark-green lines running all over it.
The armor just stood there then it started to open up, like a flower petal, letting its content out.
"Master!"
When the greatly injured person fell out from its inside, the armor stepped over it, not caring the slightest.
It slowly advanced, with each step its body changing drastically.
The paint peeled off its surface, showing the silver metal it was made of. Then its parts started to change places. The mana battery entered its body where the pilot should have been, the propulsors got completely destroyed and sucked into the body, while the headgear changed, picturing an unnaturally wide smile.
The huge monster and the soldiers couldn't move, not daring to get their eyes off the transformation. It was something that never happed before. It was impossible.
When it finally stopped, a completely different being stud before them. Its slim body slowly became covered by lines shining in a green light, releasing a dangerous pressure.
In the helmet of each knight, a new message could be heard.
'Unit A-2354 has been lost.'
'Unit is currently occupied by an external AI.'
'All contact with the lost unit is forbidden.'
'Do not engage lost unit.'
'I repeat, do not engage.'
"H-Hel-Hello."
It spoke!
Everyone was shocked by that. The armors voice was that of a male and seemed broken.
"…Who are you, creature? How dare you disrespect my sacred battle between these heathens ?! Runaway and I might let you live!"
The armor looked at the monster than the other warriors holding their weapons tightly.
"I-I would. Can't."
"What do you mean?! Explain yourself tinman!"
"Target locked. Tar-Target must be destroyed."
"Is so. Then die!"
The tale of the huge monster came out from his fur and fell upon the armor.
Everyone thought that it would stop it or at least jump away from it, but no, it stood there without moving.
When the tail was a few millimeters away from it, something happened.
The floor of the fallen temple, a material that was supposed to be indestructible and unchangeable, shifted and a spear came out from the ground, impaling the tail.
No one, not even the monster could have predicted something like this.
I-Impossible.
The armor kneeled on the floor his body covered by green lines that spread all over the floor around him.
"Reconstruction. Spike X10."
There 10 spikes made from the indestructible floor rose around him launching in the direction of the monster.
"Shape Change: Human!"
Milliseconds before the spears touched the monster, its body started to shine and shrink, taking the form of a human male with dark skin and two horns on his forehead.
"I congratulate you for being able to force the mighty me to this puny form! But now suffer the consequence of your action! The great mem the ter- "
In the middle of his sentence, another spear came out from the floor if he didn't evade it in time he would have died.
"Tch, you dear! Soul Breaker!
A ray of dark energy came out of his mouth.
The armor didn't move from his place, but a wall suddenly raised before him, blocking the attack.
Not stopping, the marking s on the floor started to spread, completely encircling the monster.
"Reconstruction, Cylinder."
The marking shined in bright light and soon the monster found itself trapped in a cylinder made from the indestructible floor.
"Target captured. Proceeding elimination. Reconstruction. Combining construct, Spike X20, and Cylinder."
The markings spread onto the cylinder and holes suddenly appeared on it, from where dark blood started to come out.
"Target eliminated. New construct saved. New construct named as Stone-Maiden."

[… 321 SE received.]
This body is so cool! It is so much stronger than I thought it would be and this battery is just the best! No more sleeping, for this guy! And I finally managed to get SE! It took me so much time! Now it's time for my journey to start to become the strongest!
I turned around, facing the group of people having the same, supper suite as I had.
Sigh, I think it's time to go. Don't want to exceed their hospitality. Oh, good there is a door here. I hope this is the exit.
I started to walk slowly towards them, trying not to look suspicious.
The armored knights didn't move, they just looked at me weird.
Okay, this is getting a little creepy.
I passed them without any problem, till a little girl stepped before me.
She had unnatural pink eyes and a small yellow dress, her eyes were red from crying.
"Give it back."
Eh, what those she wants?
"Kid, Wh-What do you want?"
Tchhh, this broken speech really pissing me off. I really need to force it not to sound so automated.
"Give me back Big-Sis!" with her tiny fist she started to hit my leg.
"B-Big Sis? What i-is that?"
Seriously what is a sis? is it an abbreviation for something?
The girl wasn't much of a help, she just kept on crying and punching my leg.
Okay, I am annoyed. Time to go.
As gently as I could I pushed her aside and continued walking.
So, first thing first, I will get some information and then find a way to get a body that is more human-looking than-
Bamm!
From behind something just hit me in the shoulder. I could feel it with the treads running through my body's surface.
Looking backward I noticed that it was the one with a bow in its hand.
Seriously? An arrow? This is the best you caaaaannannaannanaaaaaaaaaaa!
Electricity.
This was an electric arrow.
Blue sparks were flying all over my body, that was shaking uncontrollably.
SSSSaaanaana bbbbbbiiiiiitiiti-
[External energy detected.]
[Transferring energy to the battery.]
OOOhhh hell yeah!
The twitching soon stooped, and the arow was soon out of juice.
Now then how should I do? I planed to walk out of here without any fuss, but I just can't let this one slide.
Go away and bee polite or kill the shit of them not only getting some easy SE but their loot too.
It's obvious, no?
I pointed at the one who just shot me.
"Target locked. Proceeding elimination."
