The wind blew around the boy's hair.
The air seemed to be vibrating, humming distinctly to the tune of ancient song.
But he was hardly paying attention to the music in the background. No, because he was soaring through the sky.
He leaped from cloud to cloud his movements causing the clouds to disperse as soon as he leaped from one to the next.
The energy was coursing throughout his entire body surging from the beating of his heart down to his legs giving his legs a light blue glow in the shape of wings around his feet.
He knew this was freedom, he was freedom, the wind, the air, and nothing could stop his flight.
With one giant leap, he soared through the sky reaching for the sun.
As he flew higher and higher into the sky, he wished his friends could enjoy this moment with him.
And with that thought, the song in the background stopped. The energy that was just a minute ago surging through his body was suddenly gone as if it never existed at all. The magical wings around his feet disappearing in an instant.
He began to plummet, the wind that seemed to love him a second ago now aggressively whipping him around, stealing the air from his lungs.
As he gasped for air tears formed in his eyes, the thought of his loss of freedom hurting him more than the fact that the water beneath him was getting closer and closer.

A boy sat upon a stump singing. His throat grew tired, so he stopped and decided to enjoy his surroundings before he began to sing again.
As the boy looked to his right, he noticed something falling from the sky.
A beautiful meteor falling through the sky lighting up its surroundings while itself was starting to dim. He watched it impact the open sea below and smiled.
Then he began to sing again.
