《The Infinite Item box IS the best thing someone can have on an adventure》Chapter 17 - Rod

Atogin was quickly dealt with by Lunan, his speed was even faster than Atogins during the fight. The [demihuman] wouldn't calm down, so Lunan simply cut Atogin with another scalpel and he passed out. Lunan picked up Atogin and in a few seconds, they were back at the stands.
Enar and Harrian clapped as they appeared before Harrian began to talk.
"Enar, if I lose, you'll have to take my place against Aelor,"
"Harrian, I believe that you'll be able to beat Aelor," Enar replied.
"He probably has the highest affinity to fire, so I'll have to use my [Rock Affinity] against him,"
"But doesn't water beat fire?"
"I've tried, it doesn't, evaporation sometimes, [Body fall],"
Harrian then jumped off the watching area, pulling [Chaos Collum] from his back and buried it into the wall of the colosseum. Due to the spell, he cast on himself, [Body Fall], it created enough movement so he didn't stick in place.
Harrian saw Aelor walking out and they locked gazes. Aelor opened his right hand and made a large purple flame appear in it, with a large grin on his face.
"May the final battle today commence!" The king's voice again echoed through the entire crowd which made them cheer again.
When the people were cheering, Harrian jumped off the wall and took out [Chaos Collum] and cancelled the effects of [Body fall]. He put his feet on the blade of [Chaos Collum] and began to say spells.
"[Black Magic], [Burnball]."
Rache quickly hid inside Harrians hat before they quickly flew to the other side of the colosseum, exactly to where Aelor was standing. Before he made an impact, Harrian changed his stance so that [Chaos Collum] would hit Aelor directly.
Aelor saw what was happening, so with the flame he made, he covered his arm with it, and put his hands in a cross, spreading to Aelors left arm as well. Harrians attack hit Aelor, but with the fire he had on his hands, Harrians attack did no direct damage, so he cast [fireball] and landed on his scythe on the ground.
"Well done Harrian, but not enough,"
"Trust me, I know, [Rock Bullet]."
Harrian put his left hand and out and a small rock formed before bolting at Aelor. It hit Aelor right in the middle of his chest, although it did nothing. A large bruise formed where it hit, but he didn't care.
Rache came out of Harrian's tophat and began to form large rocks somehow from the ground. While Rache was doing her own thing, Aelor and Harrian were now beginning to fight with their weapons, a sword made of fire and a scythe of black were clashing.
During the time of when it was happening, Atogin who was resting on Lunan then woke up and was ready to fight. The remainder of the [Leverse weed effect] was wearing off, he saw Enar and began to talk.
"What's happening? Is Harrian fighting, did I kill the enemy known as Rosetta?" Nobody looked at Atogin, but they did respond.
"You put her in a coma, we don't know when, but the doctors say that it'll probably be a month before she wakes up," Lunan replied.
"I see, so I didn't kill another person," Atogin began to cry. "Thank the [God of Beasts], I didn't become like that [Dark Elf]."

One thing was for certain when they were fighting, Harrian was better equipped for magic, even with his unique weapon, it was hard for Harrian to fight.
After having enough, Aelor used a new ability that Harrian hadn't seen before.
"[Broadsword Art] [Fire Swipe]!" Aelor shouted.
Aelor swiped his sword at Harrian, creating a small wave of fire. Harrian couldn't block the attack, so he took it which made him gain distance from Aelor. Before touching the ground, Harrian used Chaos Collum to force himself even farther away than Aelor by casting [Burnball].
The large flame appeared at the top of [Chaos Column] and made Harrian go even further whilst hitting Aelor with a flame. Harrian landed on his feet and recovered. He quickly reached into his cape and pulled out a white pill which he then swallowed.
Whilst Harrian was taking medication, Aelor began to absorb the [Blazeball]. All the wounds the Harrian delt stopped bleeding and partially closed themselves. Harrian was confused, but after Aelor absorbed the rest of the fire, he talked again.
"[Fire Rod], the ability to negate any [Fire Affinity] Magic underneath my level, since mine is [Cinder Affinity level 4], I think I should be fine,"
"How did you get such a powerful ability?" Harrian asked, using Aelor's intelligence against him.
"You have to have a close death experience with one of the main elements, burned in a fire I was, and stronger I have become because of it."
"Let's see how strong it is, Rache!"
'Understood Harrian, [Levitate],' All the rocks that Rache was pulling out of the ground suddenly began to float about one metre from the ground. There were twenty moderately large rocks now floating around the colosseum, Harrian got out a normal-sized magic staff from his cape. He closed and opened his eyes, with his red one beginning to glow.
"Take this Aelor! [Target!],[Black Magic],[Rock Bullets]!"
All the rocks aimed and began to hurl themselves at Aelor, each one going at a moderate speed, about the same speed as a running Nicko, who was the slowest in the group. Each rock made contact with Aelor, and with Harrians [Black Magic] spell, it hurt even more.
Using some quick thinking, if the rocks made contact and broke, some large parts would hit Aelor again. Harrian quickly used his [String Control] and changed the shape of his cape into a three-pointed star on his back.
He positioned [Chaos Collum] and began to enchant his changed cape.
"ぶるないにぎ,まなれいんふぉろく,ふぉくす!" Harrians three-pointed star began to glow red before he began to cast a spell. "[Ignite Force], [Spark Speed], [Black Scythe Art: Chaos Chop]!"
The middle of Harrians cape began to emit a concentrated flame, similar to that of a missile launch. He stood his ground before jumping and in a few split seconds, he went past Aelor, slicing him in two.
Although Harrian couldn't stop himself, he collided with a rock wall, damaging his cape. Quickly, Harrian took off his cape which was beginning to burn and threw it on the ground. He looked at the disembodied corpse of Aelor, who was in fact, still in one piece.
He took a look at the blade of [Chaos Column] seeing if there was blood on it, which there was, Harrian even saw a lump of flesh on it, probably lung he thought. Harrian looked back at Aelors corpse, to see that it was beginning to stand up.

"He survived being sliced in two!" Enar yelled. "That man… he is,"
"He is consumed by the [Gods of Evil], you trained with the [head priest] of Kilvi's main religion, I can tell why you're on edge," Lunan tried to calm Enar down.
"But… A man of that experience shouldn't have that much of a curse. It.. it would... "
"Turn his teammates evil as well, just for a large blood sacrifice, a sacrifice of a member,"
Slowly, Aelor got up and faced Harrian, it was true that he cut Aelor in half, except. Aelors chest wound was all that but a scar. Aelor put his hand out toward Harrian and the cape which was cinders began to burn brightly again.
Both Harrian and Rache quickly used their [String Control] on the cape, but the fire didn't stop, instead, it grew hotter, enveloping Harrians arm. Aelor subsided the fire and Harrian had a burning limb, screaming.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!" Harrian began to yell, Aelors fire began to turn purple on Harrians arms, and got brighter before it began to simmer. Harrian stopped yelling and the flame subsided, he got up and looked at his arm.
Parts were burnt, and some markings of blue were beginning to heal areas around them. The mysterious markings began to move around, everywhere they touched on Harrians arm, the burns would go away.
Aelor looked and saw what was happening and began to grow infuriated, the flames on his head grew ever larger, turning a darker tone of purple as well. Harrian's arm was completely healed of burns, so he began to take the injured clothes off.
"Well done Aelor, and well done my other pet, Dropley," Harrian spoke.
When Harrian finished his sentence, his bare upper body came into view, the entire place was covered with a blue substance. Enar and Atogin who were watching and saw it and made the connection immediately.
"Unbelievable! What a great idea!" Atogin yelled.
"To use it as a light armour!" Enar replied.
"What light armour?" Sivent asked. "What's the great idea?"
"Sivent, Harrian had two beasts he tamed, the spider Rache and the slime Dropley, he's using the slime as an armour!" Atogin quickly responded.
Harrian quickly picked up [Chaos Column] and jumped on it again. He used [Burnball] again, but he didn't say it.
The ground around him exploded and Harrian was sent up in the air again. He quickly took off his tophat and accessed the [Infinite Item Box]. Harrian set something up and pointed his tophat towards Aelor.
Whilst falling Harrian entered his [Infinite Item Box] which was still pointing towards Aelor. The tophat slowly floated to the ground and just stayed there. Aelor took no chances so with all his might, he punched the ground, causing the fire to travel underneath, engulfing the tophat in a pillar of fire.
"You might be able to fool me, but not now, [Cinder Pillar]!"
The fire grew ever more powerful, enough to push the tophat out again and make it float into the air. Aelor subsided the fire and jumped at the tophat. Meanwhile, Harrian got out of his tophat with a spider next to him. He pointed the tophat to Aelor and smiled.
"Your short fuse just cost you the battle! Open [Kehtral Dam]!"
A pressured stream of water erupted from the tophat and hit Aelor. With levelling up the [Infinite Item Box] again, Harrian gained the ability to customize how items would leave it. Right now, he made a large pressured stream of water hit Aelor.
After Aelor hit the ground and fires on top of his head began to kindle and die, Harrian stopped and floated down towards him.
"Had to be careful, that was part of Kethrals water dam, don't want them to die due to dehydration," Harrian said.
"Well done you just pissed me off, I'd like to finish you with my fire, but… You'll have to deal with lightning!"
Aelor then put his left hand into his mouth and began to gag. After he took his hand out of his mouth, Aelor had three [Spell Beads of Lightning] in his left hand now and crushed them. The clouds began to appear and turn black above the colosseum.
A blue light began to shine in Aelors fist, and he opened his hand at him. A concentrated mass of sparkling blue energy was crackling in his hands. Harrian quickly used [Swap] with Rache and rock and put her and [Chaos Column] into the [Infinite Item Box], whilst Dropley even under Harrians orders, didn't move from his body.
"Very well, just get behind me." Harrian sighed, and the slime did as he asked.
Aelor positioned his left arm at Harrian and the [Dark Magician] opened his arms, having a plan in mind.
"Even your [Rebound] skill won't save you now! Take this!"
A blast of lightning quickly hit Harrian and burned his body. He screamed in pain but was ready for another hit. After a while, lightning began to hit Harrian from the sky and for longer periods. After a while, Harrian closed his eyes, as the skin was beginning to fall off, exposing muscle.
Aelor was laughing maniacally before the lightning stopped doing damage to him. Aelor continued the assault and began to yell words out, after two minutes, the attacks of lightning stopped and Harrian was finally visible again to the crowd.
His body was extremely wicked, Harrian no longer had hair and both his eyelids had been disintegrated, with his left eye, unseeable. Parts of his body people could see to the bone, on his right chest people could see his lungs contracting. Harrians remaining skin was pitch black due to the lightning burns, it was a miracle that he was still breathing.
"It's amazing how dumb you can be, Aelor, how you didn't know what's going to happen, [Rebound]!"
A beam of light was hurled from Harrian to Aelor and it hit. After the light subsided, all of what's left of Aelor was part of his upper body and feet. Harrian's feet began to turn to ash and he also fell to the ground, beginning to cough blood.
The beam of light marked the end of Aelor and Harrian, but it was sure that the battle had ended in a draw.

Sara's (not really) Fabulous System Armageddon, Book I: The World Ended at Rush Hour
Planet Earth, Monday, October 7th, 2019. 18:30 * * On a fateful day, during rush hour in eastern North America, Heavens and Hell crumbled and fell from their higher dimension on Earth. It came from "above" but not the same above we regard in our tridimensional Euclidean reasoning. No, it came from "above" as in from a higher dimension. Bits and pieces of those places fell on Earth from all directions, this time in tridimensional Euclidean space. Satellites, the ISS, and space debris all were wiped clean from orbit. Even those that didn't crash with the falling debris were knocked off orbit by the shockwaves. On the ground, power distribution lines were disrupted and most power facilities were left abandoned by their dead staff. Most of these had emergency shutdown routines that engaged in a few days. Some others had a survivor among their staff that followed protocol and activated their SCRAM switches, stopping the power plant. Long-distance communication disappeared the internet along with it. The world was plunged into technological darkness. Nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand human beings perished immediately in the pulse of magical energy from the torn spatial boundary. Spirits were rent asunder and vanished, their fate neither salvation nor damnation, only oblivion. The criteria used for this culling was latent magic potential. It didn't discriminate against education, gender, age, or ethnic group. But of the around seven million survivors, most would meet their doom moments later. Those on moving vehicles, like the ones driving on highways suddenly had to contend with high-speed uncontrolled cars and trucks driven by corpses. Trapped in their vehicles and helpless, they became part of the long snake of crushed metal. Very few survived. Those in the air or out in the sea were alone and probably unable to control their rides. Airplanes crashed, and ships kept their course or drifted away, depending on their autopilot. Several ended their own lives in utter despair after seeing their loved ones die in front of them. Another large group would die at the hands of other survivors. Violence and aggression became the norm. Only a few sparse pockets of not-so-sane survivors managed to band together and cooperate for the sake of mutual survival. The sole survivor in a five-over-one apartment building in Georgia, a girl became the keystone to humanity's survival. Sara's fabulous System Apocalypse had just started. She has only one remark. It was anything but fabulous. * * Updates every Wednesday and Sunday.
