《Asher the Insane》Baohu the Spear

The old man with the opera mask burst and his blood flew all around splattering everyone except the violet-haired woman on the stage, she was untouched even though she should have been covered the most.
Nothing except the man's face was untouched. It wasn't twisted, it didn't look like his last moments were that of pain but surprise.
I knew who he was.
Noufu, a governor and high-ranking member of the state.
"By god," the horse-man yelled, spitting out blood he had gotten in his mouth and losing the grace of his words as he had them before, "What the fuck Faye. You coulda warned me. Looks like you traumatized some of the attendees. THIS is what the characters in Gantz must have felt like and though I must admit this is a weird feeling, seeing someone blow up and there's no disconnect that, cause not they're aliens. "
"This is the fastest way," she said very plainly though her voice was very melodic, it almost sounded like singing.
Screaming broke out from the remaining bidders and other personal that were not the guards.
Before that moment I was frozen, in shock, staring death in the eye.
I forced myself to say something not just for me but for the person I came for.
"AINI, GET OUT OF THERE," I threw the mask away and got up to the stage, and ran towards her.
"Baohu?! Is that you?" Of course, she was as shocked as me seeing what had transpired.
The horse-man had already removed her and every other slaves' collars.
I knelt at her feet, "I will always fight for you. "
"Get up, this isn't the place or time."
Together we tried to escape this unsightly exhibition.
"Who were that man and that woman?" I asked Aini as we ran.

"I don't really know. He's called Asher, that I know and I think that woman is called Faye."
"That doesn't exactly tell us much."
More guards came and everything turned into a disarray of fighting, blood, screaming, and escaping.
A few of them came at us to try to stop us, I could glance that they were weak and their fighting skill could not keep us.
I grabbed a nearby broom and it turned into a spear.
They seemed surprised, no wonder, not many possessed a skill like this.
[Material Manipulation], my family skill, let me turn everything I see as a potential weapon into my personalized weapon, an enchanted guandao.
I had this weapon since I was five years old but now was not the time to reminiscence.
As one guard saw the weapon he ran away. I can't blame him for that.
I stood between the rest of them and Aini, I did not come all this way to let them hurt her. I had to protect her.
The first strike was mine and I would not miss, even if I did [Perfect Strikes] would lessen the chance of missing per missed attack.
After dispatching four guards in a row the skills did not even activate once.
All of them were weak, mainly because most guards tried to confront the woman called Faye.
They stood no chance, not even the slightest.
As soon as her hand was upon them their life was over and their last moments were that of a bloody pulp exploding in the air.
Still, I could not believe that she did not show any kind of emotion while massacring most of the slavers' forces in mere minutes.
In the meanwhile horse-man Asher was true to his words and freed every slave he saw then ventured deeper into the bowels of the scums' hideout and as far as I knew he freed as many who were imprisoned as he could.
After most guards were no more Aini and I escaped, not being pursued by any.
