《The Gods' Decree》The reign of Sir Mouse

There Tafari stood as he looked on the city that went across the distance.
" I wonder when I will be able to venture outside of the walls. Old man Ming tales are really starting to make me want to go and have my own experiences".He thought as his mind drifted away.
There was still a resemblance of the child from 4 years back with a bit of his cheeky look. However, when looked on closely you could see he had grown much, as his facial features had matured.
....
In an ally in the city, there were two groups of people convened. In one group all members wore purple, while the other wore all black.
" Violet sun gang, haven't you dogs learned your lesson? This is our terrority since the vanishing of that waste Bing gang"
A scrawny sickly looking bawled man In black spouted as he challenged the members in purple.
" I'm sorry it seems that I did not get that memo. Hmmm how about this, check with my secretary to see if I have an appointment for bullshit?".
A young man in his early 20s mocked while the members in purple behind laughed.
Veins started to pop up on the bald man's head as rage started to build. These two gangs the Violet sun and Eternal death have been at odds for 4 years.
This is due to the sudden disappearance of the Bing gang from that time. There has been no news of the Bing gang in these years thus, their territories have been divided by the surrounding gangs. How could such prime meat not be eaten up with so many wolves around?
" Stefan, do you think me afraid to turn you and that choir behind you into mincemeat? I Have been good recently and made a pledge not to have any more blood on my blades this month. I warn you to not let this blade drink the fresh blood it so desperately desires."

Baldy showcases his blades while his fingers ran across the edges. The members of Eternal Death behind also drew their weapons as it seems the confrontation had reached its boiling point.
" What??
"You think your little threats can have any effect on me?"
" Didn't that little dog behind you show you the warnings signs I gave, about anytime you stench of filth come close to this area"
" Oh, I see Brent... I left too many bones unbroken. Hmmm...., guess I'll just have to rectify that problem now"
Steffan responded casually as his members of the Violet Sun also drew their weapons and got ready to charge.
.....
" Oh look at you guys all here planning my surprise party"
" Yh I know I blew the surprise, but you all made me so anxious I had to appear"
" So....will there be cake...hmmm?"
" I...would..be...pissed..if..there..is...no cake!"
The stillness seemed to fill the ally as the members of both gangs heard that voice. Chills ran through their bodies as they knew the deluge had appeared.
" MOUSE....?"
.....
BANG!!!!!
The man who shouted his name felt a foot meeting his face as he was kicked in the wall close by.
" Oh I'm sorry I did not hear a Mr or Sir before my name"
" My feet have a twitch it seems whenever that happens. I really should have it checked by a doctor. Any references?"
The youth looked on with a playful smile as his dreads blew with the wind.
Stefan finally found his bearing and started to stutter...
" We were just having a little disagreement. Nothing that will pique your interest Mouse...no, no, I mean..."
Boom!!!!!!!!!
Before Stefan could correct his speech he saw a foot pummeling him with kicks.

" Damn there goes that twitch again...., I'm so sorry about that. I guess he thought that was the remedy to fix the twitch. Anyone else agrees with his theory?"
Everyone around shook their heads in terror. They truly feared this youth to the core as he has terrorised every single gang in the city. Who dared to called this boy a mouse, he was nothing but a damn fiend?
Always trying out techniques on members and then he always had the gall to ask for compensation after every beating stint.
Saying it was not worth his godly techniques being used on scum like us. Therefore, we have to pay for every damn showing. As much as we tried to fight back in numbers the beating only seem to get worse.
There is also rumours that the Bing gang demise was all due to this youth. After all, all gangs knew of the commotion that had to happen before their disappearance. This child was ruthless as can be and one that terrorized their dreams.
Then all the gangs simple decided to avoid this youth like the plague every single time we saw him.
" Sir Mouse.., we were just on our way. If you need anything at all please do not be afraid to ask our Eternal Death gang"
The Baldie and his members tried to be as humble as possible before this rogue. As too did the members of the voice Sun while they assisted their leader to his feet.
" Guess you guys didn't hear the good news" Taf spoke with a smile as he watched both gangs with humble appearances.
" What good news is that Sir Mouse? If it is good for Sir Mouse, let us all offer our congratulation?"
Stefan spoke up after wiping a nose bleed and cupping his hand. Although in his mind he was questioning what this fiend had in mind.
" Oh, you didn't hear? "
"How can one run an organization like yours and not keep his head to the ground? "
" You have to know the happenings of the city"
Tafari berated Steffan as he lectured like a professor to a student.
" Sigh... guess I got to tute my own horn for once. The city has imposed a new tax that targets criminals".
"As fate would have it, they gave me reigns over the gang collections department."
He had a grin on his face as he saw the fury starting to build on both sides.

The Exodus Project
This is the original version of Origin before I rewrote it. It's much more simpler, some names and personalities are a little different. THere's nowhere near as much back story or character development/interaction. But the story is essentially at the end of book one. I wrote this 15 odd years ago, and with a bit of polish it doesn't look too bad. The story like Origin is about a group of college students who find a ship that is the last remnant of an ancient human space faring civilisation, they fix her up and go back into space. Along they way they'll meet alot of aliens, religious fundamentalists and conmen.
