There were many skills that would get during the journey later. Maybe this would sound difficult. For Elisia, having [Molten Flame] and [Sixth Sense] skills allowed her to fight well, even being able to defeat two boss fights. With other abilities, Elisia can become stronger.

“I have to find out in Hex Aegis!” she muttered.

A book fell in front of Elisia. She took it and immediately opened it. She was opening a section about skills and their upgrades. [Hex Aegis] had already understood Elisia's intentions just by opening it.

“It turns out that there are a lot of improvement in my skills. My [Molten Flame] have reached level 3 and [Sixth Sense] have reached level 2. I'm curious what a skill at level 10 will be like,” Elisia thought.

Elisia felt that she had gotten better with her current abilities, and there were many other abilities. This triggers the girl to train harder to got it. She would ask Risk to train again.

She closed [Hex Aegis] book, suddenly it disappeared. Elisia watched Dao mowing the grass. He moved so fast that Tevanny surprised. Elisia looked at the Dao’s stats using [Sixth Sense], staring at the Dao for a while.

It surprised Elisia at the incredible Dao’s stats. It was true, as Dao said, it made him for combat, and his name was an abbreviation. Even though he was a robot, he still a friend in Elisia's eyes. His unique tone of voice with a robotic accent made it a pleasure to hear.

Elisia walked over to Dao, who had finished mowing the grass. She wanted to say something to the robot man.

“Dao, you look tired,” said Elisia, “You should rest.”

“Tired? Dao cannot be tiring. Dao still has energy for six days,” Dao argued.

“How about we sit down to chat for a bit?” Elisia pulled a Dao hand to the sloping ground.

“But don't we still have work to do?”

Elisia turned to Tevanny. “Tevanny, can I spend a little more time with Dao?”

“Oh, of course you can! I think the men have finished preparing the ingredients in the kitchen. I'll check it out.” Tevanny walked to the house.

Finally, Elisia had time with Dao enjoying a quiet afternoon with the sun covered in clouds. They sat on the sloping ground full of grass leisurely. It surprised Dao to see Elisia's behavior, which was calmer than before.

“Is Elisia okay?” Dao asked.

“I'm okay. Why?”

“Dao analyzed Elisia's heart rate was stable and there was no increase in any hormones in Elisia's body. Elisia's breathing was in a normal state. But, Dao found a Kryptida infection in Elisia's right arm at a rate of two percent,” Dao explained.

“You can check my body just by looking at it?” Elisia curious.

“Dao's eyes equipped with a body scanner made by the O-tiS laboratory. Simply looking at the target, Dao can analyze the state of health,” Dao replied.

“A great ability,” Elisia praises.

Elisia’s tongue became a groan. She wanted so badly to ask Dao something, but the words couldn't come out. The girl glanced at Dao. The man turned his head back. Elisia immediately looked away.

“Dao, how does it feel to be a robot?” Elisia asked with her face still turned away. Strange questions just came out of her mouth.

He fell silent and looked up at the sky. “Dao feels… Dao has flaws. Dao cannot eat, drink, urinate, and cannot understand feelings, just like humans. Dao once said this on Upgrade, and Upgrade didn't answer. In Elisia’a opinion, can Dao become human?”

Elisia glanced up. “I believe Dao can become human. Even if you can't do many things like a human, I think Dao is still Dao, be it a robot or not. Dao has one thing that humans rarely have, a sense of help.”

“Really? In fact, that program was almost non-existent in Dao system. That program must have been installing in Dao system unnoticed.”

“Maybe it came from here.” Elisia stood before Dao and pointed at his chest.

“Here? In my mechanical heart?”

“To be more precise, in your robotic heart. Just like humans, this is heart that controls your conscience to help others. You have something that humans don't have, a pure heart.”

Dao felt his chest. “Elisia, you said good things to my ears, and it entered Dao system.”

Elisia surprised. “Eh, really? I didn't even realize I said that.”

Dao moved. “As Dao once said, Dao vows to protect Elisia with all Dao energy and framework. Dao must ensure that Elisia must keep smiling.”

Those words moved Elisia. Her tears were almost out. Dao left, leaving Elisia alone in the meadow. When Dao was almost home, Elisia shouted at him.

“Dao, do you want to train with me?!”

“Train? Of course!”

Elisia smiled to herself on the field that was being blown by a rather strong wind. Elisia's blonde hair swayed like leaves on a tree. Dao's words brought her random memories back. It seemed like every memory want to tell, even though everything was still gray. Elisia would look for that answer on her way.

After daydreaming alone in the field, Elisia returned home to help her friends. Just opening the door, Rhino came out with a big frying pan, followed by Dao who brought firewood and a frying pan, Tevanny brought a bowl of food, and Risk brought a container of meat.

“Elisia, please get the kitchen utensils on the table!” Risk asked.

Elisia entered the kitchen and saw the kitchen utensils in the large basin. She took them all and started walking out. Suddenly, Upgrade came out of the room with tired face. He took a glass and poured water from the teapot on the table. Elisia heard water gulping down his throat, making the girl think how tired Upgrade was.

“Upgrade, are you tired?” Elisia asked, turning around.

“Yes,” Upgrade replied. “Looks like you guys are doing something fun today.”

“We will have a small party in the field across from this house, as a thank you for being allowed to stay here,” Elisia explained.

Upgrade nodded. “I'll catch up when the activities have started.”

Elisia walked out of the house to approach everyone who had prepared all the equipment. Rhino started the fire, Risk cut the chicken into pieces, and Tevanny was peeling the onion. Dao came from the side of the house carrying a table.

Elisia approached those who were busy with their respective activities. She wanted to help, but didn't know what to do. She put the kitchen utensils on the table.

“Elisia, can you get some cake from Mr. Tivet's shop? Call Mr. Tivet here,” Tevanny asked.

“Okay.” Elisia immediately walked over.

“You still remember the way to get there, don't you?” Tevanny confirmed.

“Yes, I still remember.”

Elisia walked onto the main road that led to the center of the village. Some people paid attention to her so they don't focus on their work. It made Elisia awkward and felt that something was wrong with her. With relaxed steps mixed with awkwardness, the girl became nervous.

“Everyone looks weird, but seeing them makes me remember something,” Elisia muttered.

In her memory, she walked on a beautiful brick street with people standing tall around her. She also put on a glittering dress and walked to the horse carriage at the end of the road. Arriving at the wooden carriage, a person dressed as a royal soldier reached out. Elisia reached for the hand to get into the horse carriage.

The door was closed, and inside was a woman from her previous memory. The woman wore a glittering golden yellow dress that made Elisia's eyes dazzle. Her face was smiling sweetly, with long flowing blonde hair.

The horse carriage started moving and was about to take them somewhere. Along the way, it stunned Elisia to see the grace of a woman whose face was like hers. The shimmering golden yellow dress with a brilliance of bright blonde hair made Elisia unable to take her eyes off it. Really, that woman was beautiful.

During pleasant memories, Elisia realized that she had walked until she reached the fountain. She turned around and followed the same path. When she arrived at Tivet's cake shop, Elisia saw the shop owner closing the shop. Elisia approached the black-haired youth.

“Mister Tivet!” she called the youth.

The man turned. “Elisia, did you come here to get the cake that Tevanny ordered?”

“Yes, and asking you to come there.”

“I just closed the shop will come there soon. I'll get the cake.” Tivet walked into the shop.

Elisia waited on the terrace of the shop while watching the people passing by. They also looked at Elisia, made her even more awkward. She wondered why everyone saw her like that.

Tivet came out of the shop with two baskets of cakes. He gave it to Elisia and came back again. The girl looked at the contents of the basket. There were colorful cakes that looked delicious. She really wanted to eat one cake, but this was Tevanny's order. Tivet came out of the shop again with a basket and a box. He put the box down and locked the shop.

Tivet picked up the box again. “Let's go see Tevanny!”

They walked together through the main road to Tevanny's house. As before, everyone who passed by on the same street focused on Elisia. She felt uneasy and drew closer to Tivet. The man looked up in surprise.

“Elisia, is something wrong?” he asked.

“Why is everyone looking at me like that? Is there something wrong with my appearance?”

Tivet looked at the surrounding people, their eyes suddenly turned away. He saw a few people looking at Elisia, then he walked a little slower. Tivet's surprising movement took aback Elisia.

“Mister Tivet, what's wrong?” Elisia asked.

“I think they're looking at you because they've never seen you before. I think that you are beautiful in their eyes,” Tivet replied.

Elisia blushed at Tivet's statement. She also wondered what made everyone think she was beautiful when she never made up. On the way, Elisia saw Gray running towards her. The girl smiled, but the dog was hopping around her. It could knock the basket containing the cake that Elisia was carrying over.

“Gray, don't jump around me!” Elisia said, made the dog followed Elisia quietly.

After walking for a while, they arrived at Tevanny's house. Cooking smoke soared into the sky, pulling every nose that was near it. Elisia approached the party venue, which was getting crowded with villagers. The village chief was also there, chatting with Tevanny and Upgrade.

“Hey, everyone!” Elisia said, greeting them.

All eyes turned to the girl.

“Elisia and Tivet, you can put the cake on the table!” Tevanny asked.

They put the basket and box on the table. Each basket removed and laid out on the table using a large plate. Elisia watched each of the colorful cakes with various toppings, making her little stomach hungry.

[Peanut Cake]

[Chocolate Chip Brownies]

[Peanut Black Forest]

The fragrant aroma of cooking wafted through all the noses. Rhino served it on a large plate provided on the table, side by side with the chicken and chili sauce. Looked like the party could start once all the food was ready.

Residents came to the field with their family members. From old to young, everyone gathered in the quiet meadow with a gentle afternoon breeze. The sun moved west, creating a very nice view. They also served the food on the table.

The village chief raised his hand up. Everyone turned their attention to their leader. He turned to Upgrade while nodding his head, then stepped into the crowd.

“This afternoon, we are all happy. These brave wanderers have defeated the monsters that plague our village. This small party they held was a form of their gratitude to this village for helping them, as well as a celebration of our gratitude for them. So, let's rejoice together!"

Applause greeted the words of the village chief, who was quite authoritative. Risk approached Elisia to push her in the middle, but the girl refused while shaking her head. Risk forced Elisia until finally the blonde-haired girl was in the middle of the crowd. All eyes were on Elisia's face.

“I-I want to thank the villagers of Grasswood, who accepted us as newcomers, until we helped resolve your problem with that big monster. I also want to thank my friends, Risk, Dao, Rhino, Mr. Tivet, and Tevanny, who made this small party a success,” Elisia said with a slightly nervous heart.

The girl turned to Risk. The man just nodded.

“Many people, especially my friends, said that I was the one who defeated the monster. That was not wrong, but it was the role of my friends that made me able to do it. Thanks to them, all kinds of challenges can overcome. To celebrate all of that, I'm opening this little party!”

Everyone applauded loudly. Elisia was so flattered that her tears almost came out. This feeling made her touched and happy, plus a strange memory flashed through her mind again. The atmosphere was same, in a party and attended by many people. She approached Risk while holding her chest. The man handed her a glass of water. Elisia suddenly gulped it down.

“Nice speech, Elisia!” Risk praised.

“You are like a queen, Elisia! Looks like we'll have to treat you like a queen from today on!” Rhino praised.

“Elisia's words touched Dao. My processor feels vibrating,” Dao continued.

“You did a good thing. Keep it in every way you go,” Tevanny ordered while holding Elisia's shoulders.

“Let's start raiding the food!” Rhino suddenly ran to the dish and prepared a spoon.

Everyone stormed the dishes made by Rhino and Risk, assisted by Dao and Tevanny. Each plate gave the same portion, and they took the cakes one by one. Elisia wanted to take the delicious pastries, but she was too late. The plate was clean of food. Her head hung down sadly. Suddenly, someone gave Elisia a piece of cake.

Elisia raised her head. A teenage boy stood up, smiling. The girl accepted the cake.

“Th-thank you....”

“Want to chat together?” the teenager offered.

The teenager took Elisia to the sloping ground in the field to talk. Elisia felt happy to mingle with the villagers. It imprinted this happiness in Elisia's memory, and it didn't happen in the other places she would visit later. Elisia seemed to want to stay here for a long time.
