[Step 3: Biome Generation (Modded with Extreme Biomes Pack)]
I celebrated in my head and then got back to work since the rest of the crew is staring at my hands and waiting for me to continue with the process since we’ve been here for hours at this point and they want me to finish. I started by specifying the Equator and the Prime Meridian which should help the program with putting down biomes.
That done I gave the system free reign on the generation as I am not a biome engineer. It took a while since my world was so complex and I had so many mods running. During that time I refilled my coffee and discussed with the group regarding creature placement and what I should focus on for creature traits.
*5 minutes later
When the system finally finished it gave me this list of biomes:
[Automatic Biome Generation Complete] [Default Biomes:] [Fantastical Biomes:]
[Terrestrial] -
Tundra (2)
Polar Ice (2)
Rainforest (6)
Savanna (5)
Taiga (3)
Temperate forest (7)
Temperate Grasslands (5)
Alpine (3)
High Mountains (3)
Desert (4)
Volcanic Islands (4)
[Extreme Biomes] -
Polarizing Arctic Oasis (2)
Eldritch Lake (1)
Radioactive Wasteland (1)
High World Mountain (1)
Celestial Mountain Range (1)
Infernal Mountain Range (1)
Extreme Fauna World (1)
Extreme Flora World (1)
Mutant Coast (1)
[Default Magic Biomes] -
Magic Forests (7)
Magical Caves (10)
[Aquatic] -
Freshwater (9)
Freshwater wetlands (4)
Marine (6)
Coral reef (5)
Estuaries (4)
Abyssal (7)
[Unique Biomes] -
Astral Storm (1)
Abyssal Rift (1)
Abyssal Cavern (1)
Celestial Plane (1)
Infernal Plane (1)
Steamworks Time Gear (1)
Eternal River (1)
Seasonal Landscape (4)
Otherworld Spirit Islands (1)
Divided Lands (1)
It was exceptionally beautiful when generated as the color spread throughout my world and I felt the joy of creation coursing through me as a mother or painter (or writer) would with their baby or masterpiece(s). I looked over the world again as with the biomes came the default flora that was automatically added. I then thought over whether I wanted anything else added and asked the others as well. We all agreed that it was fine as it was but I thought of some cool biomes to add when we finally get some creatures like a giant turtle or whale island that could fly. I then had an epiphany and went to add a layer of mist that is transparent but made with a chemical similar to Helium that I was setting up for a certain plan of mine. I added this mist layer at 2 different places around Yokai Island and Astral Storm as they were going to be my testing grounds for my plan.

I also added a few Easter eggs in the shape of magical libraries enchanted to fill up with whatever knowledge my sentients find and the story of this world’s creation heavily edited, of course.
(‘Hey Illyuz here don’t tell Nadezth that I did this but I added a small piece of land on the spring part of the central continent that is pretty much the candy land of Adv*nture L*nd.’*Laugh. ‘I can’t wait for him to find it.’ *Giggle.)
...I don’t know why but I feel like someone is playing with me.
*Looks around suspiciously.

[Step 4: Material Deposition]
I followed the general steps most people would take and randomized the normal ores while manually restricting and putting down the more special ones. I added a lot in the mountain ranges but the High World Mountain gained a ton because of how high in mana density it is. While the two specialized mountain ranges got a ton of metal in their particular element.
I also added a lot of metal in the main continent, Spirit Island, Astral Storm Islands, and Divided Lands. For the Danger Zone, I added radioactive chemicals and toxic waste. While for the extreme fauna and flora lands I added legendary healing elixirs and the like deep into the islands right next to the focuses powering them and where I plan to add all of my more dangerous little ones.
The planes are what you would expect a lot of either holy or infernal element metals or herbs etc. The seasonal lands are the same all having materials attuned to their element etc. But the Steamworks Time Gear and Abyssal regions are a surprise as they contain a lot of crystal that I would expect from the Astral storm, not them.
That step finished we all looked at one another in surprise as that was surprisingly fast for me as I usually take a long time making things exactly the way I want it to be.
Well moving on to the part we all were looking forward to →

NOVA INTERIT.US
It's 2063, and the town along with much of the nation are in disarray. The decay started years before the Great Event. Our town still had hope thanks to the five families, who'd created a blockchain based water distribution system for the locals, a valuable secret hidden from the Global Water Commission and their network of mercenaries. Earlier in the mid-2040's, right after the state secessions of Idaho, Montana, and Texas, the Global Council of Water Commissioners made their deals and moved into towns throughout the country. They called it "the integration." The Commission and their contractors integrated with municipal water departments, using their organized network to invade like parasites on local services. It all coincided with the 29th Amendment to the United States Constitution, later referred to as the Regional Trident Plan. Nova is a story about survival, power structures, the turning of relationships, and the networking between people and the systems to which they belong. It’s about A.I. blockchain possibility, and its potential for human betterment versus our detriment. It’s about the question of whether or not we need to be saved from ourselves, and by who or what? The Great Event at the end of the first chapter might just be what actually saves us. The epilogue will take place in 2517. This scene is fully sketched and the full arc of the novel is set. I expect to finish Nova Interitus by summer of 2023. This is realist hard-sci-fi dystopian fiction. I hope you find Nova to be a challenging and consuming story. This is not something I planned to write. It all came to me in a dream and I haven't been able to stop writing it. This Royal Road posting is basically a beta test with chapters and drafts to get some feedback and see if there's any readership for this narrative. For the full experience read Nova on Substack. I will be narrating a podcast version later this year there. https://novainteritus.substack.com/
