25 hours after the world had fallen to its knee’s

9 hours later finaly making it to the CDC, I’m beginning to think what Mr Daniel had to say was right. Me and max leaving the confert of my car we slowly walk to the front door of the CDC with infected all around us telling max to stay close he seems to understand what I’m saying and he fallows my command. Once to the front door trying to open it thinking that would work and it didn’t caused a loud shattering of the glass that was already broken; brake even more as what looked like millions of infected banging on the door trying to get to us I’ve had lost all hope with the help of the CDC to my surprise the odd man I had meet was right about this place slowly and sadly taking the walk of shame back to my car with max.

I decided to head back to silverville like Mr Daniel had suggested with the shake of max head for his approval we start back that way.

Getting dark and me getting very scared me and max spend the night in my car eating the food and milk I got from the gas station hardly getting sleep with various hurds of infected walking bye hiting the car and max being a very good boy not drawing any attention to us we make it threw the night.

Forward again to the camp I was told about, the car just had a quarter of a tank of gas left. We had to make the best of it. Gladly making it to middeway park me and Maxie had to leave the car behind hiding it in the bushes hoping to go back For it later just Incase of a escape plain. Walking the rest of the way which seemed like forever we come upon this huge forage like building with spikes and a chained in fence not believing the sight in front of me. It looks like they had been prepared for this for a long time.

Guards: jarred: who goes there

Teara: realy jarred?

Jarred: what it’s funny

Teara: 😑

Jarred: ok, hey who are u and what do u won’t

Hey this is Delilah, Mr Daniel told me about this place plz I have nowhere else to go he told me to come here

(Teara, Jarred): 😧 Mr Daniel recruited someone ?

Teara: open the gate

Me: Thank you! Come on Maxie

Teara: now even tho we let you in Mr Daniel is out on a run so we will have to put you in a holding cell untell he comes back

Me: ok? But I clearly have nothing but my dog

Jarred: don’t matter it’s protocol

Me: ok I’ll go but I’m keeping Maxie with me

Jarred: suit your self darlin

me: the names Delilah, not darlin.

Awaiting for Mr Daniels to return I have lost all track of what time it had become assuming it’s mid-day me and max began to worry when Mr daniel comes to take us to a nearby house for us to stay

Mr Daniels: now little lady what did I tell ya’h

Me: how did you no

Mr Daniels: it just so happens the very doctor that worked for the CDC is staying here doing his research

me: what!?! Why didn’t you tell me!

Mr Daniels: you just seem determined, who am I to get in the middle of a little lady’s way

me: ???

Mr daniels: well here we are, you and ur dog can stay here and get settled in will talk more tomorrow about you pulling ur part around here and from the sounds of it I may have you working with Dr. Oliver.

Me: Dr Oliver ?

Mr Daniels: the dr from the CDC

Me: oh! Ok I would love to

Mr Daniels: although he might’ve just us ya for running erron

Me: .......

later that evening after Mr Daniels had left. the small backpack I had with some food for max and me and one change of clothes I go feed max and take a well needed, and long awaited hot shower before falling asleep to a bed that I never thought I would see again.😴

Aawwwwhhh (yawning) waking up seeing Maxie still soundly sleeping I make my way to the bathroom while grabbing a change of clothes I had in my back pack, getting dressed and washing my face I walk back in to the room where max is now awake and we walk to the kitchen together. Looking in the kitchen they actually had COFFEE!! ☕️ waiting for my coffee to brew I look around finding some dog food for max that had a note on it “ for your dog lil lady”..... well thank you. Also finding some lil Debby donut finishing them with my coffee me and max leave the house and head out to find Mr Daniel.

Briefly walking around I come upon Mr daniel to ask about my job I’ll be doing

Mr Daniels: well hello there lil lady

me: hey, I’m ready to work

Mr Daniels: well alrighty then let’s go to Dr. Oliver .....

some time of a walk later.......

Me: (thinking to my self) Oliver sounds familiar 🤔

Mr Daniels: Dr Oliver I’ve found you a assistant

as Dr Oliver turns around Delilah and Oliver both had a look of awww on there faces 😧

Dr. Oliver: Delilah ;Ms delilah omrieta is that you

me: Dr Oliver yatatchi. It’s been a long time

Mr Daniels: well it seems you guys are already acquainted I’ll leave you to it.

Me: Maxie sit at the door ok

(Maxie goes lay down At front door)

Dr. Oliver: so Ms Delilah, I’m working on a bio-tonic neurological state of the art ignazima infused reverser diphlogram.

Me: wow so how does it work

Dr. Oliver: well you seem to no ur stuff I usually lose people at bio-tonic, it’s nice to have a intelligent conversation for once. Dr. Oliver: not Precisely, see like I had mentioned the virus’s causes liver failure if there was away to bring them back we would need a liver transplant stat but I do believe I can make a anti-body. The only down side I’m missing a DNA centrifuge to test the veils. And if I’m right when someone gets bit or scratched we can kill the cells around the infected area and cut and sow up the patient as if a common surgery and there lives will be saved

Me: where could we get one.

Dr. Oliver: see this is where I’m afraid my plains might de-rail the only place I’m aware of that would have one would Be the CDC in the biotechnology DNA lab.

Me: well let go get it

Dr. Oliver: no no no you don’t realize that place is over runned

me: well that true but me and max went there just yesterday if u have clearance we could get in from the ruff

Dr. Oliver: say that don’t seem to bad of an idea and it worth a shot, but I’ll have to run it bye Mr Daniels fisrt

me: no need I’ll do it for u I’ll be back in a few

some time later.......

me: Mr Daniels!!! Me and Dr. Oliver need to go on a run it’s very important it might cause a huge brake threw

Mr.daniels: well that great new! Where is this run to.

Me: well that’s the thing we need to go to the CDC for a DNA tester basically

Mr. Daniels: I’m sorry mr Delilah but Dr. Oliver is a very important part of our group we can’t risk losing him.

Me: well I no what he needs and what it looks like but I don’t have his clearance and where not gonna get anywhere without his clearance but maybe if you came along with us you could keep a watch over him.

Mr. Daniels: ....... well I don’t have anything else to do today, tell Dr. Oliver to pack what he needs will be leaving soon we might as well leave now, where burning daylight.
