MmmNomNomicon: Wyvern, No!
Boats: Maybe don’t risk yourself trying to pet a monster cat?
Kingtude: At least she’s not trying to fuck a monster. Although, I did see a snake girl over here. Let’s just say, I’m tempted. I mean, I wouldn’t in reality. But, you know 😜
MmmNomNomicon: That’s definitely not my thing.
Boats: Hey, keep it in the NSFW channel!
Kingtude: Guys, someone’s gonna try it.
Wyvern Cuddles: I’m just attempting to not get eaten.
Kingtude: Some of us want to be eaten.
MmmNomNomicon: ...
Wyvern Cuddles: ....
Wyvern Cuddles: No! Bad. Get your mind out of the gutter! [NoHornyBonk.gif]
Kingtude: I’m just saying that there are armchair monster fuckers out there.
Boats: ...
@Boats muted @Kingtude for 30 seconds
Wyvern Cuddles: @Kingtude You’re the reason D&D social media groups want to rebrand humans as slut-folk 🤣.
Wyvern put her phone away. Not caring about the chaos she caused in the channel.
“Alright. I’m gonna try to make friends with it. I want each of you to back up and give it space. You’re making it nervous.”
Of course, they did not back up. They even gave her skeptical looks.
Wyvern sighed. This was why she hated dealing with people.
“Please stand over there.” She gestured to the corner of the opposite building.
Finally, she corralled the other parents to a spot far enough away that it would hopefully put the cat at ease. If this creature was anything like her old scaredy-cat, then it probably needed space.
“You too, Squiggly. I don’t want you getting hurt.”
“Gobo!”
“Yeah, I know you’re tougher than me. Still, do as I say.”
The goblin huffed and trudged behind a small tree.
Wyvern grabbed the wrapped chunks of rat meat from her backpack. Slitted amber eyes focused on it. To make sure, she moved it left.

The kitty’s entire head turned left and it crouched low, as if it was going to pounce.
Wyvern definitely had its attention. She just hoped that this would work out better than her attempt at distracting a Wolsker with rat bones.
Ever so slowly, she approached while mumbling words that resembled a certain XKCD comic. “Good kitty. So floofy. Such a pretty girl? Boy?”
When it took a small step back toward the building, she unwrapped the meat and placed it down on the grass. Then she backed up halfway to Squiggs.
It eyed her, but it stepped over to the meat and delicately started scarfing it down. Once it was done, it backed up to its spot.
Once again, she carefully approached it.
Maybe it was the food or maybe it was whatever abilities her class gave her, but the monster allowed her to get closer to it.
She held out her fist to the giant floofball and waited.
Eventually, it rubbed its chin against her hand.
Pure joy. And soft smooth fur.
“You need a name, big guy. How about Marshmallow? Marsh for short?”
She started scratching its neck, and a loud purr filled the area.
Congratulations! You have succeeded in taming a Greater Catleon! Warning! All of your taming slots have been used. Please reach level 5 before attempting to train a third monster. You can tame another if one of yours runs away or dies.
“Sloss!”
“Don’t worry Squiggs, I haven’t forgotten about you. Come over here and meet a new member of the family.”
“MmRawur!” Marshmallow made a sound halfway between a meow and a roar.
“Marsh, can you follow me over here so we can let all these people pick up their kids?”
“MmRooower!”
She brought the kitty over to the side. While she introduced her two monsters to each other the parents rushed into the classroom and brought out their kids.

Finally, the teacher, Mrs. James, left the building and cautiously approached Wyvern.
“You’re here to pick up your son, right?”
Wyvern, did not like where this was going. “Where is my Little Cutie, Mrs. James?”
She looked sheepish. “The bathroom in the classroom was occupied and he really had to go, so I gave him permission to use the other one down the hall. I don’t know if he’s still there, but he might be.” She pointed towards a restroom.
Because, of course, it wouldn’t be that easy. Shit was never easy.
“Mrs. James, if you don’t mind staying here for a bit longer? I might need your help to find my son.”
She nodded.
“Marsh, stay here. You won’t fit. Squiggs, you’re the perfect size for this.”
Squiggly sent a proud look up at Marshmellow who didn’t seem to care at all.
Wyvern walked towards the blue bathroom door with chipped paint. “This one?” She asked Mrs. James.
Once she nodded in confirmation, Wyvern pushed the door open and peeked inside. The tiled bathroom appeared empty.
This meant that there were likely no monsters in here but, that also meant that her son might not be here either.
There were no greater fears in life than the sudden realization that your child was not where you expected them to be.
What if he’d been kidnapped? What if some pervert offered him candy to get into a car? What if he was eaten by a monster?!
“Little Cutie?” Wyvern’s voice cracked.
“Mom!”
Then a little figure ran out of one of the half open stalls and jumped into Wyvern’s arms.
“Oof! I told you that knees shouldn’t be included in hugs. Ugh, whatever.”
She lifted him up, hugged him tightly, rocking him from side to side. Sharing the warmest of warm hugs.
Then she set him down and clasped his face. He looked fine.
“What were you doing in the bathroom this whole time?
He pointed to the stall.
Still carrying him she walked into the bathroom. Cautiously, she opened the door. The creak from the old hinges echoed through the bathroom.
Inside the toilet, a toad-like monster with brown warts and a bright red line going down its back floated in the water like it was chilling in the pool.

Considering that in nature, most brightly colored animals were poisonous or venomous, she figured this monster might also be poisonous.
She eyed her son. “What are you doing with this?”
He shrugged. “Playing with it.”

Demons Don't Lie
Algier, average human and recent convict, has committed the gravest sin of all: demon slaying. His fate? To participate in the Culling, a battle-royale style tournament that’s televised live to the world, where all the worst criminals go to die. As with all tournaments, a prize is on the line. If Algier survives, he can have any wish granted by the Marquises, the new rulers of Earth following the demons’ invasion. However, there’s little hope for survival in a tournament designed to have demons do the work of the executioner, especially for a human. Demons are stronger, faster, wiser, and more talented than the average human, and, despite his crime, Algier is no demon hunter. Mentally defeated before the tournament even begins, Algier is torn between becoming another demon’s points and fighting on in his dead mother’s legacy. But should he choose to fight, there is one advantage that Algier has that can tip the odds in his favour: Demons don’t lie, but humans can. How to read this story Demons Don't Lie is written from the perspective of an unreliable (lying) narrator. There are many inconsistencies within the story which are placed there intentionally. It's up to the reader to decide what is the truth and what is the lie. Promotion Full quality cover image

For You, I Would Forsake The World
This is the story of a person from a desolate and bleak future who dies and reincarnates into a fantasy world of swords and magic and finds meaning in his meaningless existence. -- Notes --- This story is told from multiple povs, I think I've made it obvious when the pov change has happened.- This site doesn't really have a specific tag for it so I'll add it in the synopsis, the romance in this story is incest.- I do all the writing and proofreading, so if you see some mistakes I've missed please point them out.- The beginning is more world-building and setting up the plot and mechanics so don't expect too much action in the first ark.
