《Savior (BWWM)》Twenty Eight

The wedding was in a couple hours. 21 hours to be exact. I checked my watch to be sure.
"I thought a bachelor party didn't include the fiancé." Kade smirked as he looked toward Blake.
I sipped on my beer as I slouched into the couch more. "I want her in my sight at all times."
"You like her, don't you?" He sat beside me.
I shot Kade a glance.
"You don't have to answer me, but I know you do. I've been your friend for a while, I can tell."
I took a long deep breath. Maybe I do. Maybe I wanted someone by my side.. Maybe I wanted Blake. I don't really know what I want.
I shrugged. "Maybe."
"Didn't know you were capable of loving a person." He chuckled. "It's a nice look on you pal." He got up walking away.
I rolled my eyes. Of course he walked away before I could respond to his ridiculous words. Asshole.
We were in part of the basement that included a bar. I clearly said over and over I didn't want a party or whatever the hell people called these things. I didn't see the point of one, but if there had to be one then it was by my rules. I needed to know where Blake was at all times and I didn't trust Nora to update me with their location every 10 minutes. So this was the only solution. The basement was big enough to hold about 20 people. Nora made sure it was filled up with people I didn't know nor really gave a fuck about.
I've spent hours figuring out my next moves after the wedding. I'll practically own everything Luis owns. The only next step there is, is to kill him and make his empire apart of mine. Sweet victory.
Blake and Nora were dancing and taking shots. Others were around them dancing too. It bothered me to see other men so close to her. But they knew she was mine. They knew not to touch her or they'll be consequences.
Blake was actually having fun. Dancing and drinking her ass off. I didn't see the need to have fun. Everything has gone to shit in the last few days. With Luis playing me, to finding Blake's mother. I didn't have time to party, but to think of my next moves. Which were way more important than a party.
"You should dance." Blake said walking up to me.
I didn't answer as I took another gulp of my beer.
"Danceee." She grabbed my hand. "Please."
I tilted my head at her. "Are you drunk?"
"Noooo." She waved her drink in the air. "Get up."
"How about you sit down."
She crossed her arms, but obeyed sitting in my lap. She wrapped her arms around my neck. I hated being touched, but with this girl I'd let her do anything to me. Just by the touch of her made
me hard. Fuck.
"You know, we're about the be married soon." She slurred her words.
I nodded once.
"This is fun isn't it." She looked around the room. "So many people showed up."
"Which isn't safe." I mumbled. I know every person in this room got the memo to keep their mouths shut or they'll die.
"I know, but it's fun." She repeated over and over as she kept taking huge sips of her alcohol.
"Don't you think that's enough for you tonight?" I took the cup from her.

"You're no funnn! Get up." She stood grabbing my hand.
"Blake I don't-."
She pressed her finger to my lips. "Just one dance."
I squinted my eyes, but followed her into the center of the crowd. Of course people watched us the entire way, well I will say me the entire way.
Nobody sees me as the fun type and I don't blame them. I don't have time for fun when I'm running a business.
Someone was trying to play games because as soon as we hit the floor the music slowed and soft music started playing. I noticed Colton and Kade by radio. They gave me grins as the music got louder. Those assholes.
"A slowww song." She smiled.
"Great.." I sighed rolling my eyes.
She wrapped her arms around my neck as I placed my hands on her lower back.
"I don't really know how to dance like this." She giggled lightly.
"Follow my steps." I said.
She caught on quick, following all the small steps I took.
I playfully grabbed her ass a few times. By the look on her face she seemed like she enjoyed it.
"If it wasn't for you i'd be dead ya know." She looked into my eyes.
I didn't quite know what to respond. I didn't like these kind've conversations.
"You saved me. You made sure I was safe and.. and.. that's something i've never experience before. People are wrong about you."
I placed a kiss on her forehead. People are right about me, but I'll let her think whatever she wanted. "You're always safe with me."
"I know." She put her head in the corner of my neck. "When i'm with you I feel happy, even though you're a scary criminal who hurt- kill people." She chuckled.
At this moment my body felt something i've never felt before. Her words made my brows widen. I made someone feel.. happy? Was this the drunk her talking?
She looked up at me. "Why do you look so shocked?" She laughed softly.
"I don't know." I whispered as we moved with the music.
The rest of the night was filled with Blake forcing me to dance and do other crazy shit i'd never imagined myself doing. She had me looking like a fool in front of all the people who followed me, but I didn't care. In this moment I was enjoying the time with my fiancé.
By the smile on her face and her beautiful laugh, with every crazy thing she's made me do was worth it. I didn't care how crazy it was, if she was smiling I was going to do it. Blake was different from all the woman i've been with. She didn't care what others thought. And maybe she was the woman I needed in my life.

I woke up with a major headache and sore legs. I looked to my right to see Roman getting dressed. He looked handsome as usual.
"Morning." I said forcing myself to sit up.
"Morning beautiful." He walked over placing a juicy kiss on my lips.
"Someone's awfully excited today." I giggled.
"I've been waiting for this day my entire life." He walked back to the mirror buttoning his pants. "Someone should be coming soon to help you get ready."
"I can't get ready on my own?" I raised a brow.
"Ask my mom." He rolled his eyes. "Her call."
"I see." I sighed getting out've bed.
"There's some medicine on the nightstand for your headache."

This man.. "Thank you."
I took the pill hoping it'd relieve my headache soon. I walked over to him placing my arms around his stomach as I placed kisses on his back. "Last night was... fun."
All the thoughts of our drunken night was coming back to me. We both were drunk and had some amazing sex. He did moves i've never seen him use before.
"Round 4?" He asked smirking as he faced me. "I wouldn't mind."
I laughed. "How are you not hung over?"
"I'm a alcoholic behind close doors baby." He smirked.
I couldn't tell if he was joking or serious.
"I got you something." He said pulling something from his pocket.
It was a ring, a beautiful ring at that. It looked like it cost a fortune.
"Roman, I.."
"I never got you a engagement ring. Give me your hand." He smiled.
The smile on his face made my body fill up with happiness. I was so lost for words. I held my hand out still in shock by the beauty of the ring. He placed the ring on the finger as it shined.
"It's beautiful." I said admiring my hand.
He rubbed his neck. "I didn't think you'd like it."
"I love it Roman."
He was about to kiss me before there was a knock on the door.
"Great..." He sighed loudly.
I giggled still admiring my ring.
"Come in." He said annoyed.
The door opened as a petite woman stood in the frame. "Hello." She paused looking around nervously. "I'm Katti. I'll be helping miss Myers get ready today." She smiled awkwardly.
"That's my cue." He kissed my forehead. "I'll see you later on beautiful." He smiled leaving the room.
"Later." I beamed. I was falling for Roman Ferrari. And hard.
I was getting married today. I actually felt butterflies form in my stomach. Weeks ago I was dreading this day, and now i'm actually excited. Giving my father hell was the thing I was mostly happy about.
"I'm going to be taking you to the location of the wedding. You'll be getting dressed there."
I nodded. "Let's me get dressed first."
She gave me a weird look as she nodded. "Okay."
I expected Nora, Rae and my mother to be apart of this, but the Katti reassured me plenty of times they were waiting for me at the location of the wedding.. Katti gave me weird vibes by how many times she checked over her shoulder and looked at her phone, but I ignore it. Maybe she was just nervous to be serving this family.
I didn't really get to plan out most of the wedding, so I was unsure of the location and other aspects of it. I didn't mind it though, I trusted Roman's mom to plan the whole thing and I'm sure she did a hell of a good job at it.
"We'll be heading straight there. Nobody needs to see the bride on the day of the wedding." Katti gave a cheerful smile then walked out the door.
I guess that was normal on wedding days. I wouldn't know, this is my very first wedding.
We went out the front doors without anyone paying attention to us. Everyone was too busy getting things together to even notice us walking by.
The ride was long and dreadful. It gave me time to think about everything, the next moves after all of this. We're Roman and I suppose to continue this act or go our separate ways. If I had to be honest I didn't want to leave Roman, the firm, or this life. I was getting use to all this around me. Maybe I could turn my fathers empire into my own law firm. I silently laughed at the thought. It wasn't a bad idea though.
"We're here." Katti said.
Looking out the window the building looked old and like it was about to go in any minute. It had to be abandoned.
"This looks a bit, odd." I giggled. "You sure this is the place?" I asked Katti.
She nodded. "According to my GPS. It is, come on."
She opened the door for me as she walked forward. I followed trying to keep up. She was walking fast, maybe she was as excited as I was. She pushed the doors opened and my body went into shock as the man I hated the most stood in front of me.
The bald head. The skull tattoo. The vein in his neck that never goes away. My body froze.
"Well that was easy." Luis chuckled. "Long time no see, daughter."
I was about to run before I was grabbed and pushed into the building. No, no, no. This cannot be happening right now.
"Strap her down." He said harshly.
"Fuck you!" I spit in his face.
He punched me in the face which made me fall to the ground groaning.
"Watch yourself girl." He looked at me with disgust.
"Fuck, you." I yelled again. His huge foot connected to my face. My head started spinning until everything went dark.
I jumped up screaming as my body was filled with sweat. I looked around the room. I was in Roman's room. I touched around me to feel his soft, silky sheets. It was a dream, it was just a dream. It felt so real, everything felt so real. Roman woke up in a hurry looking at me like I was crazy.
"Are you okay?" He touched my face. "You were screaming."
"Nightmare." I responded taking many breaths as tears fell down my face. Why did it feel so real. I looked around the room to see it was still dark and the clock read 3:05am.
"Hey, you're okay." He spoke pulling me into a hug. "I got you."
I embraced his warmth as my body slowly started to relax. The pain felt so real. It felt like I was actually there on that cold ground.
"Get the fuck up Blake." Roman yelled.
I pulled back from him. "What?"
"Get the fuck up!" He slapped me.
"Roman what-."
My eyes slowly opened as my father was in front of me slapping me. No, no, no. I thought this was a dream. What is going on, this can't be happening.
"She's finally up. Stand her up." Luis said. "I need her ready for my next plans."
"Roman, Roman.." I yelled as I looked around. Is this still a dream? I bit my tongue over and over until I tasted blood. Then I looked at my hand. The ring, it was on my finger. It was there. This was real.. no. This was really happening. I was in the hands of my... father.
"Shut the fuck up. Roman isn't here to save you. Fooled so easily. I didn't know 2 million could make someone turn on him so easily." He chuckled. "It was easy to figure out who was hired and who was going to be alone with you. Katti here agreed so easily." He smiled.
I looked over to see Katti in the corner. She looked disappointed.
"HOW COULD YOU!" I yelled putting all my anger toward her.
"I have a family. I'm sorry." She cried.
I couldn't believe this. How.. how could this be happening. No, this can't be happening. This can't be real.
No.. no.
"Get her in the chair." Luis said to one the men standing beside him. "I want her strapped in tight enough she cannot move."
I was rushed from the ground and into a hard wooden chair.
My head was still spinning. I couldn't tell where I was or how long i've been here. All I could see was dark grey walls.
Roman.. where are you. This can't be happening right now I kept repeating over and over.
Luis brought a camera over sitting it in front of me.
"The fact you thought you could take everything from me," He laughed shaking his head. "Silly girl."
"I hate you. I'm your fucking daughter!" I screamed at him.
A punch went to my face as I spit out blood. I felt dizzy, but I wouldn't allow myself to pass out again.
"Take it easy Dallas." Luis smirked. "I need her alive."
"Yes sir."
"That fiancé of yours won't be here to save you. But he'll see you die on camera. Now that is something i'm looking forward to." Luis paced the room.
"Why, why are you doing this." I cried.
"You're just like your mother. Pathetic." He shook his head.
That made my blood boil, but I knew to keep my mouth shut or i'll take another hit.
"He's connected to the call sir." A deep voice said behind the camera.
Luis grinned and that scared me. "Show time."

The Mischievous Mrs. Maxfield
***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain.*** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett.
