As soon as Scarlette heard the door open and close, she sank down to the floor. Sobbing. What she saw on her phone made her want to scream out crying.

Scarlette. Could you stop texting?! You're disturbing me! Just shut up!

That text sent her into a blind depression. The person that sent it to her was... Her own mother. Tears ran down her face as she messily went around her medicine cabinet for her beloved razor. She pulled down her jeans and revealed her damaged thighs. Scars and words were engraved into them.

'Fat'

'Disgusting'

'Gross'

'Weird'

'Useless'

'UNLOVED'

"Unloved." She sobbed out. "Unloved. Unloved. Unloved. UNLOVED." She cried, carving out a long gash starting from her upper thigh, going down to just above her knee. She carved out unloved several times up her thigh. She began to feel light-headed.

"Can you see me? Mother? Father? Can you see what you've done to me?" She hissed through her teeth, tears running down her face. "See what you've made me?" She started to cry. "Look what you've made me do..." By the time she stopped cutting, there was some blood on the floor.

She heard her bedroom door creak open. "Scarlette? I have your sandwich." Her eyes widened.

'Holy fucking mcshit. Davenport...' She thought frantically, cleaning her wounds. "Uh... Yeah. I'm just... Shitting." She hissed as she haphazardly wrapped up her thighs in gauze. "I'll be out in a minute." She pulled up her pants, and washed her hands and face. She put dark eyeliner around her eyes and walked out, completely calm.

"Where's the food?" She demanded.

"Here it is. Mae said it's your favorite." Marshall said, smiling slightly. "She said that when when you were little, you always asked for this."

Scarlette took the sandwich and looked into the filling. It was her favorite. Egg, cheese and luncheon meat. She smiled a little. "Yeah. It is... Thank you." She whispered out, not wanting to show that she just cried. She bit into it and smiled a little bit wider. "Just like before..." She spaced out... Remembering before. When she had a happy life.

"Dad! Push me higher!" A young Scarlette giggled. Her father, still in his business suit, smiled.

"Sure! Just hold on tight!" He laughed, pushing her higher.

"Scarlette! Richard! Sandwiches!" Her mother called. They both looked at her with large grins on their faces.

"Mom! Food!" She screamed, jumping to wrap her arms around her mother's neck. "I love you mom!"

Her mother smiled, and kissed her loving daughter's cheek. "I love you too honeymuffin. Now... Eat your sandwich." She said, giving her daughter a sandwich... "Eat up."

Scarlette thanked her mother and took a bite of her sandwich. "Yummy!"

"Scarlette? You in there?" Marshall asked, waving his pale fingers near her face and she zoned back into reality.

"Huh? Y-yeah. It's just... Really tasty. Tell Mae later that I thank her very much." She said quietly. "It was very delicious."

Little did Scarlette know, was that she zoned out for half an hour. Marshall was calling her for that half hour. Marshall was now really concerned for the girl. "Scarlette. Can I use your bathroom?"

"Yeah, sure." Marshall opened the door to the bathroom to find some blood on the floor.

"Scarlette... Why is there blood on the floor."

Scarlette looked up. "I'm... On my period. And I was looking for tampons..." Marshall started to blush.

"Oh... Oh! Uh... I'll clean it up for you. Ohhh my gosh ew." He babbled, ceaning it up with a washcloth. "Period blood ohhhh eww." He was paler then he usually is. Scarlette smirked.

"Yes that's blood from my vagina." She said, clearly amused, though on the inside, she was relieved he was so stupid. "I'm guessing you won't come down for dinner. We have steak and halibut."

Marshall's ears pricked. "Hell yeah I'm coming to dinner! Steak!"

Scarlette smirked a little. She knew that Marshall was so close to finding out a deadly secret. She had to be more careful. NO ONE could find out about her deadly secret.
