Cold
I hated the cold and right now that was all I could feel. I needed warmth, I don't know how I'm supposed to get it but I need it now. I took a deep breath through my nose noticing the smell of cleaning products which made me scrunch my nose.
I slowly opened my eyes, squinting them a bit from the harsh lighting surrounding the already too bright room.
I looked up at the ceiling trying to contemplate how I had gotten here. I tried to flip the pages of my book only for the pages I really needed, to be blank, the only thing there was the name on the cover.
Rayn Min
My name
That is my name right?
I looked around the room now picking up the beeping from the monitor and the IV stuck deep into my arm. I waited a few. I had to get up to inform whoever was waiting that I was ok, but I didn't want to try because I already felt weak from just blinking.
A lady in blue scrubs came in, head down into her clipboard, like this isn't the fist time today that she had come into this room.
She walked close to the bed, looking at the monitor before looking back at me. She jumped a little before she let out a gasp, "she's awake, she's awake oh my GOD SHES AWAKE!" The pure excitement on her face would've made me laugh if my throat wasn't so dry.
She runs out of the room before coming back in with a tall man with green eyes and golden like hair. He looks nice but the vibe he's giving off isn't the same as his looks. He's scary, I don't like it.
A smile spreads across his face- well mor of a smirk. "Baby...how do you feel" The way he talks sends shivers up my spine, "I feel-"

I paused trying to grasp my condition. I took the pillow I was resting my head on and put it on my lower back as I sat up. I looked at him and tilted my head a bit to the side causing some of my hair to flow to my face.
"Who are you" I said it slowly so I wasn't so abrupt, "I ask this because...I don't remember" I furrowed my brows trying to read him. His smile faltered. "You don't remember me?" He drawled.
I nodded slowly "I don't remember anything, only my name and age really." Not remember was scary and I didn't like it and I'm cold and I hate the cold. I wrapped my arms around myself trying to create and type of warm, but my hands were just as cold as the rest of my body. Tears were forming in my eyes, I tilted my head down using my hair as curtains.
The nurse who was in the room quickly ran to my side asking questions are you ok? and does it hurt anywhere? I shook my head wrapping my arms tighter. "Cold" I whispered quietly.
"Im just really cold- I don't like the cold" I heard deep rumbling chuckle. I looked up and the tall man was smiling. He walked closer to me taking his hands from out of his pockets. He pulled up a chair and collected my into his arm being carful of the things connected to me.
He was warm, really warm. His body felt so familiar and I melted into him. I let out a hum in satisfaction. His chuckle vibrated through his chest and me. The nurse excused herself after checking everything was alright. I wanted to be closer to him but the things connected to me were blocking my way. I whined and ripped them off. I didn't like them, they were blocking my only source of heat.

"You still have the same habits" he whispered. The monitor let out a long beep because of the pulse that it couldn't detect. "Who are you" I whispered. I curled into him and he held my tighter.
"Your partner"
