one week later...

It's been a full week since I've been in this mansion, and everybody was oddly nice to me. They were all very nice people but I just don't get why so many just live in one house. Adults, teens, kids, infants; they all lived here.

Sammy always makes me feel safe and protected and I have no idea why. It's kinda the same when I'm with Jack but the feeling is modified with him. I've never felt that way before.

I don't understand why I feel this way towards Sammy, and I really don't wanna tell Jack cause sometimes he gets angry when he sees boys talking to me which I also don't understand. He even put me in the room right next to his is.

Night time isn't my favourite time of the day, I get many horrible nightmares about my dad that keep me up.

What if he's coming for me?

What would he do?

Oh, I bet he is furious right now!

I shook the horrible thoughts out of my head and sighed.

I couldn't help but ask both Jack and Sammy for a talk. I really needed to get some answers! They both agreed and told me to meet them in Jack's office at 2:30. It was now 2:10 so I decided to quickly wash up and get dressed in some black skinny jeans and a short maroon nit sweater. My hair was brushed and neatly braided to my right side with loose pieces hanging out to frame my face.

I entered the office to see Jack's mom, Johnson, Sammy, and Jack. Oh well. I mentally shrugged.

"Um, so..." I started off.

How do I say this?

"Yes Sophie?" Jack asked waiting for me to continue.

"Well, whenever I'm around Sammy for some reason I feel safe and protected by him, I feel like I should always be with him if your not around."

Was that too cringe? Oh well.

Jack's eyes darkened at my words.

"You feel that too?" Sammy questioned with wide eyes and everyone gasped.

"What do you mean by that Sammy?" Jack glared.

"I always have the need to protect her and I don't know..." He trailed off.

"It makes sense now." Jack's mother smiled. Everyone looked at her with a confused expressions waiting for her to explain.

"He's her protecter, duh." She said and everyone's eyes widened in realization.

What the heck are these people on?

A protecter? What does that even mean?

"What?" I asked and everyone's eyes were suddenly on me and they all looked nervous for some reason.

"Leave." I simply commended and everybody obeyed and left the room except Sammy.

"What's going on?" Sophie asked worriedly.

"What do you mean my 'protecter'?"

I sighed.

I guess I have to tell her the truth.

"I'm not actually who you think I might be, neither is anyone here." I said and she looked at me with a confused expression.

Then suddenly her expression turned into a terrified one.

"This is a gang and your the leader, oh my God how could I have been so stupid, I mean that's why a lot of people live in the same house and why you have an office but what I don't understand is why do kids live here too, but maybe the parents don't wa-" Sam and I cut her off with our loud laughter.

"Why are you guys laughing, this is serious I could be in danger." I growled at the thought of that.

"We're not in a gang sweetheart." I said amusedly and she chuckled nervously.

"Oh, then what is it?" She furrowed her brows and stared at me which I found so cute, she looked adorable.

"I'm a werewolf, and so is everyone here." I said bluntly, what else am I supposed to say?

She's Bella and I'm Jacob, but that wouldn't work since she went for that stupid vampire, Edward... werewolfs are so much better.

(IM ACTUALLY TEAM EDWARD BUT ITS WHATEVER)

I looked up at her to see her laughing. Holy shit, it's like music to my ears. I wish I can keep making her laugh to hear it over and over again.

"That's funny, but really what is it?" She asked with tears in the corner of her eyes.

"He's serious Sophie, this isn't a joke." Sammy said seriously and I wanted to growl at his tone but referred from doing so.

"Prove it."
