One Week Later...

My wolf and I have been restless this past week, Sophie still hasn't woken up and it's freaking the hell out of both of us.

The pack Doctor, Dan said that her body is just resting and she will wake up eventually, but I can't help and be worried.

I've been sitting in the hospital chair ever since she was brought into here, my muscles were sore, I didn't eat, sleep or even shower.

Which my mom keeps lecturing me about but right now, my main priority is Sophie and making sure she's safe and healthy.

"Okay that's it you stinky piece of poop, get your sorry ass up right now and take a damn shower." My moms booming voice filled the room, I'm surprised Sophie hasn't woken up from her loudness.

"Bu-" I started but she cut me off.

"No, no buts, unless we're using it in a different meaning and sentence like, 'take a shower you smell like a dirty butt hole.' Okay?" She said glaring at me.

"Nope." I said shaking my head.

My mom looked at me and gave me the usual 'mom look'.

"Do you really want Sophie to faint the second she gets up because of your nasty stench, even the room is starting to smell like your icky self, so get up right now before I whoop your ass." She said and I nodded quickly rushing to the bathroom.

Yes, I might be the big bad scary alpha, but my mommy scares me.

After taking a much needed shower, I got dressed in some grey Nike sweatpants and a black shirt. I ruffled my hair a bit making it slightly messy, just how I like it.

'Alpha, we have a problem.' Johnson mind linked me.

'Alright, meet me in my office.'

My wolf whimpered cause he wanted to see his mate but my pack is also important, and I have been ignoring my alpha duties for a week now, so I had to to care of it.

I got to my office to see Jack waiting there, holding something in his hand.

"What is that?" I questioned.

"Bad news." He sighed, handing it to me.

My eyes widened when I saw Sophie's dads name on the letter.

I eagerly opened it and started reading.

'Dear Alpha Jack,

I've been tracking your pack for years and what a coincidence that my daughter is mated to you. Now I have a reason to destroy you. I will take my daughter back and I will finish you all.

Take care of my daughter for now, make sure she gets her regular beatings, wouldn't want her to be spoiled now, do we?'

Is this guy for real?

How could a father be so cruel?

'I will take my daughter back and I will finish you all' like hell he will. Is this guy mental?

The letter kept repeating over and over in my head.

He wants to destroy my pack?

This guy must be nuts, my pack is one of the strongest packs in the world, I'll kill him before he even gets close to any of us.

"Sammy, Jack, call the pack and tell them to meet in the hall, everyone must attend." I ordered and they shuffled quickly out of the room.

I sighed deeply and made my way to the hall to see everyone already there.

"Thank you all for coming on such short notice, we have bad news, the pack and our future Luna has been threatened."

Everyone gasped and some growled at the fact that someone threatened their Luna.

Packs always have a special bond with their Luna which I find really comforting.

"You all will start training harder and longer, if anything happens we need to be ready, we don't know how strong these hunters are, and I have a feeling we are going to find out." I stated, it's the truth and I will never lie to my pack.

Even if the truth hurts, I will always be honest.

"Also we need more guards and warriors so if you'd like to be a guard follow Beta Jack and for warriors follow your third in command Sammy and they will explain everything you need to know and train for."

I said and a lot of the teenagers left with Jack and Sammy.

I smiled proud of our generation for helping, I thought they'd be lazy asses, but here they are making me a proud alpha.

"Do not let your children leave the pack house alone, also do not yourself stay alone cause that's when they will most probably attack, when we are at out most vulnerable moments." I informed the pack.

"You may go." I dismissed everyone.
