"Sooooo, is she coming to sit with or...?" Asked Alpha Jack.

I shook my head no, frowning.

He too frowned and asked, "Why, not?"

"I don't know, she didn't even speak to me, she just kept shaking her head." I explained.

"Maybe she's deaf?" Asked Sammy.

And all our eyes widened.

"Why didn't we think of that?" I asked.

"Well I just did." Sammy said smugly.

"Oh look, there she is." Jack J pointed.

All our heads turned to find her sitting at a table with no food, just staring into thin air.

"Maybe she doesn't have food and she can't communicate to buy food." I suggested.

Jack got up and made his way and bought 2 slices of cheese pizza and juice.

"I'm gonna go give it to her." He said and left our table making his way towards her's.

I was starving.

Since I didn't wake up early before my dad, I didn't sneak in some food.

That Emma girl was weird, it looked like she was actually trying to actually be my friend, even when I was being rude to her. Oh well.

I was so caught up with my thoughts, I didn't realize someone was calling my name until someone tapped my shoulder.

I looked to my left and saw a handsome guy from my science class holding a tray with food on it.

"Hi." He smiled.

He touched my finger and I gasped, feeling sparks. What the hell was that? He moved my hand and placed the tray infront of me.

"It's for you." He said and my eyes widened. I couldn't accept that, it was probably expensive and I can't afford to pay him back.

"My names Jack, I'm from your science class, your name's Sophie right?"

I nodded and he smiled. "Cute name!" He complimented and I just nodded again.

I can't have friends, so I'll just ignore him until he leaves.

"How are you even wearing a hoodie? it's too hot outside!?" He chuckled.

I shrugged and he frowned.

"Are you deaf?"

"Oh God, that sounded rude but I'm just trying to figure you out." He said looking into my eyes.

I couldn't take my eyes off of his, he was so handsome, never has a handsome guy paid this much attention. Him and Wesley were the first ever.

I shook my head no and he frowned. "Are you mute?" I just shrugged, and shook my head no.

After I talked to Sophie at lunch, she ignored me and only ate 3 bites of the pizza.

THREE BITES?

I could eat three pizza boxes and still want more...

The day moved on pretty slowly, but finally it was last period, PE.

And I made sure to have the same class as her, the principal might be a werewolf and I might've ordered him to as his alpha.

"Okay class today we're going to be doing the 12 minute run with the ladies and then we will split and we'll play a nice game of basketball."

Everyone seemed to be happy with what the coach said and they're were no complaints.

Every Thursdays, we have to do the 12 minute run which consists of us running around the gym for 12 minutes. I don't really mind since I'm a werewolf and I rarely get tired but most humans hate it.

Girls started piling out of the change room but I kept my eyes on the door, searching for Sophie.

She came out, the last one. Wearing the same outfit she has been wearing all day.

Maybe she didn't know she had gym today...

We all lined up waiting for the instructions and stuff like that.

The girl's couch looked at Sophie and smiled.

"Ahh, you must be Sophie Owens." Sophie nodded, not making eye contact.

"Isn't that a bit too hot for gym?" She questioned probably talking about the hoodie.

Sophie just shrugged, not uttering a word.

I frowned at that, why doesn't she speak??

"Well, um, what is your favourite sport?" Asked the teacher.

I suddenly got excited maybe I'll hear her voice. Sophie just shook her head.

"You don't play any sports?" Asked the teacher and she shook her head no.

"Oh, well, um, here come with me, we have a t-shirt you could use for gym class not a lot of people wear it but that's alright." Sophie's eyes widened and she shook her head no.

"Come on, it's too hot to run with a hoodie, I'm not taking no for an answer." The teacher said sternly.

She walked towards the teacher, hesitatingly.

I wonder what she has against t-shirts?
