Stormi's pov

Driving to work, I notice a black escalade following me. At first, I didn't think anything of it until I took several different side streets and it's still behind me.

The windows are tinted so I can't see who is driving.

I rush to work and park. As soon as I shut my car off, I run inside and run all the way to the back room.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid. Maybe, they just needed to go to Walmart too.

Yeah, they probably saw my walmart vest and figured they could follow me since I'm going here anyways.

I clock in and head to the trucks. I unload the section I'm working on.

Minding my own business and all until three employees bombard me with questions.

I look at them all confused. With three people talking rapidly at the same time, you don't understand a word they are saying.

Especially when it's three girls.

I wait until they are quiet before I talk.

"What?"

All three of them stare at me like a grew an extra eyeball while they are watching.

I learned one of their names is Emily. From her work name tag.

She shoved her phone in my face and I see a picture of Kaden and I at a restaurant.

Headlines.

I felt my heart panic. I don't like attention.

I ignore the workers and headed to the bathroom. I grabbed my phone and looked on different news channels.

They are all the same but different headlines.

^^ Haha I'm just kidding, I added the last one.

I read some of the articles and they all state the same thing.

I am the first girl ever spotted out with Kaden.

It really puts the glitter on my nerves from last night.

By lunch, I am ready to go home. Everyone saw the stories and I've been getting a lot of unwanted attention all day.

Unlike most girls, I'm not an attention seeker. I love being in the background and I love when I don't get noticed.

I'm not social and I'm quiet.

I like being alone.

"Good afternoon Princessa." Kaden says walking behind me.

I turn around and smile when I see him. He's dressed more casual today. Dress pants with a polo shirt. His hair is crazy and going several different directions.

He has curly bed hair.

Both of his arms are completely covered in a tattoos.

I smile at him as I drink in how gorgeous he looks.

He's sleepy but he still came.

He gives me a hug and I wrap my arms around him tightly.

After I pull away, I clock out and take off my vest.

Walking outside, I look around for the black escalade.

When I don't see it, I'm relieved.

Kaden and I walk next door to subway. He stares at me weird and I smile.

"What?"

He looks at the menu and shrugs. "I've never been here before."

I laugh. "Who hasn't been to subway? It's amazing."

After spending ten minutes looking over the menu, Kaden finally decides on a tuna.

I chuckle and he turns to me.

He rolls his eyes. "Actually, can I get the chicken bacon ranch?" He asked the worker who sighed then nodded.

I get my usual turkey bacon guacamole.

I groan when he becomes indecisive about the veggies.

He notices my impatience and smiles.

"Patience is virtue Princessa."

I cross my arms. "Well, I'm starving and we've been here for twenty minutes without food."

"Just eat a snickers." He jokes before telling the worker his veggies and sauces.

As soon as the sandwiches were wrapped, I grabbed our cups and my sandwich.

"I already paid." I told Kaden as I filled my cup up with sweet tea.

"How much was it so I can pay you back?" He asked filling his cup up with sprite.

"Free." I huffed to hide my giggle as I sat down in the booth.

He smiled at me as he sat down and tried to slide me a hundred dollar bill.

I shook my head and swallowed my bite. "I'm not taking your money."

"I don't like things for free baby."

I roll my eyes. "I don't either. I didn't argue when you paid the tip yesterday. Don't argue with me today."

"But---"

I lifted my hand up and smacked my foot on the ground to sound serious.

"Keep your money. If we are going to keep doing these food dates then I will pay for some of them. I can't afford the dinners like last night but I can afford these ones so put your money away or I'm leaving."

He tilts his head to the side before finally smiling, melting me with his dimples.

"Okay Princessa.... so dates? As I'll get more than today...." He said so hopefully.

"We will see whore breath."

He laughs and runs his hand through his hair. Deflating all his curls.

"So how has your day been?" He asked after we finish our food.

I glance at the clock. I still have twenty minutes.

Thankfully.

He didn't use my whole lunch on deciding a simple sandwich.

"Weird actually. Some of your fans captured us and posted it all over online."

His face turns cold and he tightens his jaw.

I grabbed my phone and showed him some of the articles and I watched his eyes turn a darker shade of blue.

"I'm so sorry." He says

I shrug. "It's alright. I am shocked that you haven't been seen with other girls in public."

He grabs my hand and rubs his thumb over my knuckles. "There hasn't been any other girls. Only you."

I hide my smile and look down. "You got tattoos, learned a new language and worked out all for me. Did you even want these tattoos?"

He looks down at them and nods. "Yes, it was mainly for you but I have grown to love them."

"Why did you do all of this? You didn't have to change your whole imagine because of me."

He kisses my hand and smiles. "I wanted to be your every dream Princessa. I didn't just change for you though. I love tattoos and I love to work out. The new language was a pain my my ass to learn but it definitely comes in handy at my job."

I nod and stare into his eyes. "Am I your dream girl?"

He smiles instantly. "Yes Princessa. Only two things are missing but after that you will be perfect."

I feel my heart race as my cheeks flush. "What are the two things?"

He stands up and pulls me with him. He palms my face and smiles. "Your last name and you need a diamond on your finger."

Before I could think, process or say anything, Kaden locks his lips on mine.

Stealing my breath away and my ability to think straight.
