"Oh, hey." I halted the moment I laid eyes on Taehyung's form in the dining room. Becoming self conscious, I tugged onto the hem of my oversized shirt that I wore, trying to cover my legs that were well exposed.

"Hi." He chimed as he looked up at me. "There's bacon and eggs. Aera and I made them." He said as he pointed at a plate that sat on the counter top.

"Oh, thanks." I let out softly, cocking my head to the side as I tried comprehending the situation.

"Your dad's on a business trip." He stated as though he were able to hear the questions that swarmed my mind. "Aera told me he had to leave last minute."

"Which explains your presence." I nodded, a smile playing on my lips. "I thought you wouldn't come back after the dinner." I teased and he chuckled, almost choking on his food.

"That dinner last week really was a disaster." He shook his head, his tousled hair falling over his forehead with the movement. He stuffed a piece of bacon in his mouth as he threw a glance at the front door.

"Where's Aera?" I asked and as he sipped onto his juice.

"She had to run a quick errand. She'll be back soon." He said and with that we both entered into an awkward silence.

"Aera told me you weren't going to be home." Taehyung peeped, sparking a conversation.

I grabbed a plateful of food and sat in front of him. "Yea, I was supposed to stay with Jae." I said and he stared at me, not being able to recognise the name. "My boyfriend." I stated and he nodded, taking another bite of his bacon.

"But we got into a little argument." I shook my head, my fork pushing around the eggs that laid on my plate.

"Oh, what about?" He asked casually and then his eyes darted up to meet mine, "you don't have to tell me." He tried retracting his question but I stuck out my hand before me, trying to calm him down.

"It's okay." I laughed, "and it was something stupid. He thought Gone With the Wind was a stupid movie and we ended up going too into it." I sighed, stuffing a piece of bacon into my mouth.

It was more than that. He promised to watch my favourite movies with me whenever he bails out on a date halfway due to university. But whenever we watch those movies, he falls asleep and our time left to spend together is cut short.

"What? I loved that movie!" He said and I instantly beamed.

I wanted to put him to the test by quoting one of my favourite lines from that movie, "my darling, you're such a child-"

"you think by saying 'I'm sorry' all the past can be corrected." And he finished it perfectly.

For some reason, right after this we were immersed in laughter. "What's so funny?" The voice called out and our heads instantly dart to the source.

"Aera!" Taehyung cooed, looking at my sister as she approached him and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

She quickly passed me a glance, "Oh, I bumped into Jae at the store. He told me what happened." She said, placing the paper bags down on the table.

"Frankly my dear," I looked up at Aera.

"I don't give a damn."

"I don't give a damn." Taehyung said the rest of the quote with me and his brown orbs met mine. I held his gaze as the both of us burst out laughing.

"What? What so funny?" She asked again as her brows knitted together.

"We were just quoting something from Gone With the Wind. You should know it." Taehyung tapped her lightly, getting her attention.

"Oh, right!" Aera chuckled nervously.

"Since when did you like old movies?" I asked Aera and her expression dropped.

"Since forever." She stared at me, wanting me to go on with it but I didn't catch on.

"What? You've always hated them, what do you mean?" I said, oblivious to the issue I had just stirred up.

Taehyung's smile falls as he looked down to his plate. I couldn't tell what I had just caused but I thought it'd be best if I left.

"I have to wash up." I said as I got up, excusing myself from the tension filled room, and made my way up to my bedroom.

"Is everything okay?" I asked Aera who sat on the couch silently.

She sniffled, running her fingers across her cheeks, drying them from her tears.

"Oh my gosh, what happened?" I plopped myself next to her.

She tilted her body towards me, "he's mad at me." She pouted a little. I remained silent as I waited for her to continue. "At the beginning of our relationship, I wasn't really honest because we were just different. But I really liked him and I wanted him to like me too." She sighed frustratedly, leaning back as she slumped against the couch.

"I'm sure he would've like you for you." I placed my hand on her shoulder as I rubbed it soothingly, trying my best to console her.

"No," She breathed out, "the only reason why we met was because he saw me returning your book at the library. He approached me and started talking about it and one thing led to another."

I furrowed my brows as I tried recalling the book.

"Pet Sematary." She said and I nod instantly.

"Right, Stephen King." And I smile unintentionally, slightly taken a back at the fact that Taehyung knew the book.

"And Taehyung's all about trust, so the fact that I lied about all these tiny things probably got to him." Aera looked at me with a smile of pity painted over her lips. "Oh," her eyes suddenly widened, "he still doesn't know that the book wasn't mine though, so please." And she shook her head, telling me that I shouldn't tell Taehyung.

"It's none of my business anyway, but if he's really 'all about trust'," I finger quoted her, "then you should tell him soon." I said and she simply shrugged.

She sulked as we sat in silence and I thought of a way to make her feel better.

"You know what, I think we should have a double date." I suggest and her eyes were close to popping out of its socket.

Aera had been bugging me for the longest time to go on a double date with her and Taehyung but I've always hated the idea. Dates for me were something intimate, and considering how little of them I've been having with Jae, I'd appreciate the alone time.

But I hated seeing her this down.

"Really?" She looked up at me resembling a child full of wonder.

"Yes," I nod. "Once you and Taehyung are done with this mess, the four of us shall go for a double date." I said with a smile and my sister instantly swings her arms around me.

"I can't wait!" She squealed.

I simply smile, not really sure what I had just gotten myself into. One double date shouldn't be a problem, right?
