Right now we are having dinner. Cassie is sitting adjacent to me. Although I wasn't in a mood to eat but Cassie being Cassie forced me, saying that I will get weak. I sighed and took a bite of mashed potatoes.

"So what have you planned, I mean what are you going to do next?", Cassie asked while breaking the silence.

"First I am thinking to prove myself innocent. I can't let Dimitri and Veronica win easily. I need to show Vaughn the truth. Also I will show them that I am not that vulnerable girl anymore." I stated to which she nodded in understanding.

"So how are you going to do this?" She asked.

"I have prepared a plan. That means I am going to meet Dimitri tomorrow. He tricked me but now I will show him that two can play this game." I stated firmly and took a sip of water.

"I am always with you. If you need any help just let me know." Cassie said and gave me an encouraging smile. To which I nodded.

I am coming Dimitri, be prepared.

Right now I am sitting in a Cafe. I already messaged Dimitri to meet me here. He will be here anytime soon.

I looked down at my palms which are sweating, showing my nervousness. No, I have to play cool. I can't let him be suspicious.

Suddenly, I saw Dimitri coming towards me. He was dressed in a plain shirt and jeans.

I took a deep breath to composed myself. I have to act very well, because Dimitri is very smart. I can't let my plan fail.

"Hey Aveliene!", Dimitri spoke as he took a seat opposite to me.

"I was sure that you will call me, but this soon, was unexpected." He said with a smirk and I felt anger building inside me. How much I wanted to wipe that smirk from his face. But I have to play well.

I gave him a tight smile.

"I thought about your proposal Dimitri. Maybe, maybe you are right about Vaughn. He is not a good choice for me." I stated although my heart pains.

Dimitri stared at me for moment as if checking my lie, he then smirked, with satisfaction, when he didn't found one. Thankfully.

"Hmmm. I already told you that he is a selfish jerk. Look he even threw you out of his house. No husband would do such a cruel thing with his beautiful wife. He doesn't deserve you." He said with fake sympathy. While my fists clenched at my sides. How dare he is acting so innocent, as if it was not him that created misunderstanding between me and Vaughn.

I took a breath, I can't loose my patience.

"Yeah you are right. He is a prick. He even chose Veronica over me." I said with fake rage so that I could trick him in believeing me. Which worked as he smiled with satisfaction.

"By the way can I ask you one thing, just for curiosity?", I said plainly to which he nodded me to continue. I composed myself and spoke-

"Who told you that the designs were at Vaughn's mansion?", I asked without showing any emotion. Dimitri smile vanished and he studied my face.

"Just for curiosity, I am asking if you don't want to tell then it's okay," I quickly defended myself. Although in my mind I was hoping that he will tell me otherwise my plan will fail.

"No, its okay. You have finally realized that he is a jerk. And we are going to join hands together. So there is nothing to hide." He said and shrugged.

While I gave him a small smile.

"I came to know about the designs through Veronica. That silly girl is really obsessed of Vaughn. She came to me with a deal. That she will help me in getting the designs, and I will help her in getting Vaughn. It was a win-win situation. So I agreed. And she only inform me that you were bringing the designs. And I helped her in taking those fake date photos of us at the restaurant. " He said casually and took a sip of water. While I nodded my head plainly, but inside I was beyond furious on Veronica because of her, me and Vaughn.....

"So what have you decided?" Dimitri 's voice snapped me from my trail of thoughts.

"Sorry what?" I said.

"I said that you called me here to answer about my proposal. Or have you called me here for my confession." He said in a serious tone and I felt my whole body froze. Damn.

Does he know that I am acting?

Does my plan failed?

"Relax I was just joking." He said with a smile, I could see the menace in his eyes.

I left out a breathe which somehow I was holding back.

"So what have you decided? Are you going to join hands with me or, you are going to act stubborn and stay with your husband who doesn't even trust you." He said and I felt anger at listening his last sentence. Although unfortunately he was right.

"I hope you are smart enough to choose the former one." He said with a smirk.

"Actually Dimitri, I have not decided yet." I began and he looked at me with intense gaze as if waiting for my one wrong word. And it made me more nervous.

"I-I mean I am not saying no. I just want some more time. As look it was only yesterday that I saw Vaughn's true face. I just need sometime, to intake all these things. You understand what I am saying right?" I said, hoping he would believe me. He stared at me as if checking for any suspicion. Then spoke.

"Yeah, I could understand. So then I will leave now. Call me when you make up your mind", he said with a wink and left. As soon as he went outside the Cafe. I took a sigh of relief, I then immediately clicked the stop button of the micro voice recorder, which I have fitted in the vase on our table, before he came. Thankfully he didn't noticed it and my plan worked.

I didn't used my phone as I don't want to take any risk.

Now I just need to give this confession of Dimitri to Vaughn. Which is not more difficult then this, right?
