After the battle was over, I ran to the med-tent to finally embrace my angel and never let go. However, she wasn't there and I was immediately filled with rage and panic. I was told Owen took her to the hospital and I ran in wolf form all the way back. When I burst into the room and saw her all right, I didn't know what to say. I was so relieved, and I just wanted to take her back to our house. When Owen told us she was having twins, I didn't know what to say. Now I am getting ready for bed with so many thoughts swirling through my head.

"I am so sorry. I don't even know if you wanted kids, and now we are going to have two. I don't know what to do." She begins crying and my heart pluments. I quickly pull her into my chest and rub her back. I can feel her relax and try to think of what to say.

"They may not be mine, but I will love our babies, and we will raise them together."

She quickly pulls back and her eyebrows draw together in confusion, "What do you mean? They are yours, who else would the father be?"

I draw in a quick breath, "They aren't Percy's? He-" she cuts me off.

"What are you talking about? How could they be Percy's?"

"He sent me the pregnancy test after he kidnapped you, and he said you were having his..." I couldn't finish and just began growling.

"Shhh it's okay." she whispers in my ear before kissing her mark, "He's delusional. He thought they were his from before, but they are yours. This time he, he didn't-" I cut her off, with a kiss, when her voice began to waver.

"Hey it's okay! You don't know how happy I am!"

"So you are not mad that we are having twins?"

"Of course I'm not mad about the twins, I am ecstatic!"

"Then why do you still look angry?" she asks quietly.

"The battle is over. We killed mostly all of the rogues, but Percy. He... Percy ran away. We are going to try to catch him, but I am furious he escaped."

"Let's not think about him. I am back. It is just you and me." She whispers calming me and my wolf. I pull her into my arms, cuddling with my angel is the one of the best feelings in the world. I kissed her on the forehead before falling into the deepest sleep I have had in months.

"Mmmm good morning angel, what do you want for breakfast sweetheat?" I ask while kissing from her mark to her swollen five month baby bump.

"I want pancakes, and bacon, and.... Ooo I want pickles with whipped cream." I try not to gag while I mindlink Nancy in the pack kitchen. "But first, I need to pee. Help me up." I quickly help my glowing goddess to the bathroom.

She was settling into bed when I hear the knock on the door. To my surprise it was Wren with the food instead of Nancy.

"Hey Alpha, I told Nancy I would bring it up. I was hoping to have a girls day with your mate." I let her in a bit disappointed.

I was about to walk out when I hear an annoyed huff come from Penny, "What the hell, Wren?" she yells and I quickly turn around, "I look like a ate a beach ball, and you have a cute little soccer ball. I hate you."

"It's not my fault you are having twins. You have two babies in you of course your bumps will be bigger."

My beauty just took a bite of her whipped cream covered pickle before diving into pack gossip with Wren. I chuckle and head to my office. I open the door and quickly regret it.

"If you are going to suck my sister's face off, have the decency not to do it in my office!" I yell at Noah, "Also Ella, Wren and Penny are having a movie day you should join them."

She quickly pecks my beta's cheek before running to see the girls.

"Have we found anything else on him?" I ask Noah.

He just shakes his head. We spend the rest of the day searching and planning for Percy. I was just about to make a phone call when I get an urgent mindlink from Ella.

"Penny needs you now!"

I quickly tell Noah to take care of the call and rush to our room. Wren had already left and Ella was walking out when I got there. She just pointed in before I could ask any questions. I hear sobbing and push past my sister to find my distraught mate. I immediately search her for any wounds before pulling her into my arms.

"Angel, tell me what is wrong? Talk to me Penny."

"The puppy, he, he just wanted to play." she stopped and began crying again.

"Were you watching car commercials again?" I scold, and she just nods sadly.

"Hey, hey it is okay!" I wipe her tears and just whisper sweet nothings into her ears.

After a few deep breaths, she tries to roll over. She immediately pulls my face to her. I can't say anything before she begins kissing me all over. The twins have been making her hormones go haywire. Even though I hate when she is sad, the horniness has been a huge plus. I must have zoned out because Penny quickly rips my shirt off of me.

"I would take over, but this beach ball is preventing me from moving. You better get your head in the game, buddy!" she quickly yells, and I take off her shirt before her mood swings to furious. I suck on her mark to get her to calm down.
